History
Established in 2015.
Countermeasures began as a business in 2015. Prior to this, your instructor was responsible for teaching marksmanship, retention and law to private company employees throughout California. We have started off slow but have gained momentum with all of the «word of mouth» advertisement that we have had. We appreciate that!
People often assume we all learn the same. I don’t believe that is the case, which is why I do my best to structure my courses to adapt to the people who are in it. No two classes are the same, because no two students are the same. Individual attention is given to each learner.
We cater to all experience levels, from basic, «this is a gun… this is the trigger», type training all the way to teaching more advanced skills for law enforcement officers and operators working for contract companies contracted to the U.S. DOD. We truly do cover from the basics to beyond.
Meet the Business Owner
Dan R.
Business Owner
Many firearm instructors got to where they are by turning a hobby into a job. It makes sense, if you’re good at something and passionate about it, why not spread your knowledge to others so that they can enjoy what you enjoy. There are several instructors in the area who are very good at shooting and do a fine job of teaching it.
I started off a little different than most. I have turned a job into a hobby. I have no interest in filling all of the seats in a classroom to make sure I get as much money as possible for each class. Instead, I like to keep my classes small in order to allow me to provide the extra one-on-one attention that you deserve.
I believe that every person, regardless of what their shooting experience is, will learn from my course, and I want to provide enough time to allow each person the ability to have their fair share of my time.
