I thought I had a great experience with this retailer, well 11 years after when I had a defective box spring and they wanted to charge me to deliver a new one was the first issue. Thank God I had a truck to go pick it up. Another 2 years go by my mattress needed to be checked for a defect again, they sent someone who said it ½ off of a defect so this place now wants to charge me for an entire new set.
The owner Robert screamed at me on the phone and hung up on me, after he told me he should charge me the 55 dollars for the bedchek place to come check the defect, and now said well how can he stay in business if he doesn’t charge me something for the new bed if I want to buy a new one, and not go through with the warranty the bed is still under. PS I called the bed manufacturer who said it sounds like this place is trying to up-​sell you, because wouldn’t you know the comp bed to mine now is 1300.00. HORRIBLE the old owner who was sweet died and now Robert owns it and he is a nightmare to deal with. Too worried about how much money will be out of his pocket and not worried about the customers experience.
The other guy Tom is the person who wants to sell me a more expensive bed, never mind the money I spent awhile back and the warranty the bed is still under. Also told me someone has to pay for the diesel and the freight cost so he doesn’t have to pay for it. REALLY, PEOPLE IF YOU BUY A BED FROM THEM I HOPE YOU DON’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH A WARRANTY ISSUE WITH THEM THEY DON’T UPHOLD IT AT ALL, NOW I AM FIGHTING WITH THEM TO GET A BED I CAN SLEEP ON. RUDE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

I just received a Queen size bed from Red Bank Sleep Shoppe. The price was right, the bed is great and the service is outstanding. Shop local… you’ll be happy you did. Susan Porter

This was the best mattress experience I have ever had and cannot say enough. I bought from this company a few years ago and had a problem with sagging on a Simmon’s mattress. There was absolutely NO HASSLE in getting a credit for the mattress and using it to buy my new (and now beloved) Temur-​pedic. They really stand behind their products, but more importantly, they stand behind their word. The guys were really nice about it all, treated me fairly and honestly and without a hint of the used-​car-​salesperson approach you find so much of nowadays. Even the delivery men went above and beyond the scope of their job to make me happy. They were very respectful of my place and had a clean, professional and kind manner. I only wish they DID sell cars, because of this positive experience.
