I’m a psychologist who uses mainstream counseling techniques combined with coaching skills. I can guide you towards improving the problem areas of your life, from conflict in your relationship, to depression and anxiety, to feeling stuck. Also, I strive to help you add more positive things to your life — a stronger marriage, romance, professional life, or calmness. I also complete neuropsychology evaluations and pre-​bariatric surgery evaluations. If you’re not sure what it is you want, I can assist you in clarifying that as well.

I received my BS in Psychology from University of Alabama, followed up with a MA in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Illinois University, and earned a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Oklahoma State University. I’m now in my 11^th year of general private practice and on staff at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. I’ve also facilitated workshops for cancer patients, become a Collaborative Divorce coach, and developed an expertise in disaster response — counseling victims of the Oklahoma City bombing, 9/​11, and Superstorm Sandy. Many of my patients have issues with anxiety and/​or depression. I am also an expert in neuropsychology where I focus on traumatic brain injury patients, strokes, pre-​bariatric surgery evaluations, disability qualifications, and readiness for work. I try to bring a real-​world mindset into our work, along with compassion, imagination and a sense of humor.
