Courtyard Lincroft Red Bank

We stayed for one night this past weekend, and we were really pleased with the whole experience. Two different very friendly desk attendants checked us in and out. There is a «bistro» in the lobby that serves Starbucks coffee, wine, beer, breakfast, and dinner. We wound up eating dinner there b/​c we could not find a local restaurant to accommodate 7 people. I had the turkey Reuben sandwich & my husband had the French dip. We were both happy with the food. The price was a little steep though. But, that is to be expected in a hotel restaurant. There are no vending machines, but a «market» is in the lobby that sells snacks and drinks. A 20 ounce soda has a $ 4 price tag! Better to bring your own, and stash them in the fridge in the room. We had a king size bed with a pull out couch. Very spacious and clean. The room even had a little balcony with two chairs and a table. Parking was very easy. Only issue we had was there is only one elevator. This is definitely an older hotel, but the main areas & guest rooms have been modernized and updated. We also hung out in the pool area since we had a toddler with us who was dying to go swimming. The pool loungers were really comfy, and the pool itself was clean and warm. There was also a really cute courtyard adjacent to the pool with umbrellas and tables, which would be nice during the summer months. We had adjoining rooms with friends, and yes we could hear some noise through the walls, but I guess it didn’t bother us too much since they were friends. We already talked about another trip to Red Bank area, and we will definitely stay at the Lincroft Marriott again.

Three words: PAPER THIN WALLS.
Overall review…
1: Don’t try to sleep, or even get in a moment of rest. This hotel is SO LOUD. Doors have to be slammed just to get them to close (great idea to implement the ‘auto-​deadlock’…). Every noise from your neighbors or the hall will invade your sleep.
2: 80’s alarm radios are set wrong & useless.
3: Oh, and climate control-​a joke. No AC in the hottest winter in how long?
4: Top it all off: NO ESPN/​ESPN2!!! Both channels had errors (And there’s only 39 channels to begin with. wtf?)

Great service. We checked in super late due to a concert. They were so friendly despite the fact we had 3 kids in tow! They room was very clean.
We stayed in a 2 queen room and it was not small but not big either. I travel quite a bit and I would say actually smaller than the average courtyard room. But, this really didn’t matter being we were just sleeping here and going to the beach the following day. Bathroom was fine. Shower tub combo and sink outside of the bathroom. Very typical of the courtyard.
We had breakfast at the restaurant — it was very good. Kids had cereal which came with milk and a banana. I had the egg frittata and it was great!
Plenty of parking which is nice. They told us they were sold out and they still had a few slots left.
I would definitely recommend when in the area. Our experience was great!

Overall My boyfriend and I had an okay experience. Recently we stayed here for the night while in town for a wedding. We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door and helped right away. We did not have a reservation and the women at the desk put us at ease that we were more than welcome! Over all the staff really made the experience better! However our room seemed fine until we turned some on the pillows over… Huge stained pillows!!! Made me a little nervous to sleep in the bed. Other than that the room was descent. Not really sure if we would go back.

Comfortable place for a business stay. Definitely one of the more modern Courtyard properties. The staff was pleasant and made us feel welcome.

Fantastic hotel and experience! Rooms were trendy and clear. Reception desk was nice and modern and desk clerks were happy and perky. The entire stay was pleasant until breakfast arrived. I have never been to a hotel that charges for coffee in the lobby. It had a mini breakfast bar/​coffee shop in the lobby. It was starbucks coffee — EXCEPT way more expensive that normal starbucks!
Aside from the «Buy your own expensive coffee and $ 3.50 muffins» in the lobby, the overall stay was great. And i would recommend it to anyone. The outside of the hotel looks a bit outdated. However, the inside was fresh and welcoming. The pillows on the bed were wonderful and soft, yet a bit firm. The bed was so comfortable — oh man… I didnt wanna wake up!
Bathroom was clean, yet very basic. The bathroom was acceptable, however, would have benefitted from a more modern makeover. It was one of those SINK OUT SIDE OF THE BATHROOM deals… which is fine.
Décor was funky/​fun and appeasing to the eye! We will be back ! Check this place out — you will be pleased — just be smart and pack some bagels or some snack bars for breakfast. Dont waste your money on a sale $ 3.50 muffin!
**There was a tiny, little, itsy, bitsy, mini coffee maker in the room. It was intimating and I was not ready to monkey around with it ! Last time I tried to use one of these tiny makers, I broke it! LOL.

I used this hotel for my wedding — I stayed here and I set up a block for my guests to stay. They all had a wonderful time and the staff was great about getting my guests their welcome bags and accommodating other needs. My parents also set up an impromptu brunch the next morning that they were able to pull off wonderfully.
The accommodations themselves were very nice and up-​to-​date. I really liked their tv message board and the reception area with tables and TVs set up.
Would definitely recommend if you’re ever in the area!

Located close to GSP exit and to Red Bank, hotel is convenient. We stayed one wintry night and hotel lot was plowed /​cleared of snow in timely manner.
Hotel itself is only okay. Walls are thin — we heard people in room next door come in late and their tv on through the wall. Room seemed clean but smelled musty. We opened sliding doors which seemed to clear out smell.
Breakfast not included in rate. Grab something in town — you will get better meal for same price that you will pay at hotel Starbucks café.

This spot was pretty nice. It’s been remodeled so it’s way more modern inside than it is outside.
Our room was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfy.
The lobby area is actually really nice, they have all sorts of cool seating areas which was nice because we were there with lots of family staying in different rooms.
They have a little bar/​food area which is actually not ridiculously priced.
They have an indoor swimming pool and it appears they used to have a hot tub, but it’s been filled in, so that was sad.
Overall though a pretty great value, if you need to be in this area it’s a good place to stay.

We recently spent a night here at the beginning of August. We were staying at the hotel for my boyfriend’s birthday and we were very pleased! We stayed in one of the suites and the staff was so very accommodating! The manager, Charles, was very friendly and should be an example to other managers in the business! We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend this hotel to others!

Perfect stay all around. The guest service is absolutely impeccable. Charles, the manager leads by example. He is truly first class. Stayed in a one bedroom suite which is the perfect space for a group of four people or three couples. Four double beds in the room and a comfortable pull couch in the nice size living room. We attended a concert at PNC and were able to use the very clean gas grill and relax and listed to music in the furnished courtyard located directly outside our room. This hotel is a true gem.
Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the red bank area.

Recently stayed here for a wedding. Very impressed by professional and courteous staff, and the condition/​cleanliness of the rooms.
The pool was well kept/​maintained, too!

Much improved since the recent refurbishment, well located, close to the Parkway but not audible. I stay there on a monthly basis, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained, both inside and out. It also features the remodeled Courtyard lobby with a very comfortable lounge and decent reasonably priced food. As other reviewers have mentioned, the walls/​connecting doors are a bit thin, so can sometimes can be a bit noisy. The beds are ok (better since the refurb) but not up to Westin Heavenly bed standards.
As a Courtyard, this is a very good one.

Quick check in, friendly associate… room is typical Courtyard, clean. Didn’t use bistro. but food looked tasty. I have stayed here before and everything is consistent. Would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times when i travel to Red Bank for work. This is a review by someone who does not stay at hotels that often. The lobby of the hotel looks very new. They have comfortable couches with big screen tv. When you walk into the hotel, you get greeted by friendly staff members. After going there a couple of times, the staff will know your name. If you are hungry, they have the Bistro that serves food, alcoholic beverage and starbucks coffee until 12 am. They open up again at 6am for breakfast. They also have a small store next to the check in area with all you everday needs (floss, toothbrush, cold medication) and snacks (chips, salad, sandwich made daily).
The room is decent size and nice bed (queen or king). However, the walls of thin and you can hear your next door neighbors’ conference call or having a little midnight fun.
Overall, a nice hotel for a night or two stay if you are in red bank.

Stayed here one night for a nearby wedding. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and the check-​in/​check-​out processes is so quick and easy. The décor is modern and elegant in the lobby and the rooms. We had a king room with with a clean, comfortable bed. The bathroom was set up perfectly with a privacy door. What more can you ask for in a hotel? There is a nice place to grab a bite for breakfast in the lobby, too. They brew Starbucks coffee, which I like.

Stayed here for a wedding last weekend. The hotel is located right off the Garden State Parkway but was surprisingly quiet. (Except at 2 am when the couple above us decided to partake in some recreational activities; apparently the walls and ceilings are a bit thin.) The rooms were exactly what you would expect from a Courtyard Marriott – nothing fancy but has everything you look for in a hotel. The room was clean and had a king-​sized bed, a couch, and a nice-​sized desk with pull-​out table. The bathroom was older but clean – and the showerhead was AMAZING! I’m pretty sure I stood under that shower for a good ten minutes longer than I needed to.
The lobby seems to be recently-​renovated and has a café in it where you can get breakfast, sandwiches, beer, and Starbucks coffee for more than what you would pay elsewhere but still reasonable given it’s a hotel restaurant. The hotel has coffee for free from 6 am — 10 am and the people at the front desk were very helpful. You get free wi-​fi and there’s a mini-​fridge (though you have to look for it.) The hotel also has a workout room and pool, though the pool is pretty small.
The best feature of this hotel was the outside courtyard. Complete with a bar-​b-​que, lounge chairs, patio tables, and fountains, this was a great place to sit outside and relax. I had to take some conference calls during my stay and loved taking them while taking in some rays!
Oh – and the price! Granted, we had a wedding rate, but you really can’t beat $ 109 a night!

A very nice hotel within 5 min of downtown Red Bank. The lobby is a great place to gather for breakfast or with a group after an event. The breakfasts served were decent and not too overpriced. The hotel staff is cool and allows you to bring down alcohol and hang out with your friends or family after an event. Oh yea, this is apparently «the» wedding hotel in the area and rooms get blocked off and go quick. There were 3 weddings in the hotel during our stay. The pool and courtyard are nice. There is outdoor seating, a barbeque, and a nice path for guest to use.
The rooms were great. They all come with a mini fridge– I feel that’s enough said.

Room are pretty clean. Have the «modern» look too it. TV’s could definitely use an upgrade though. I think the comforters are a little thin (I like them nice and heavy). Couch, bed, pullout desk, coffee table are your standard configurations.
But the bonuses are:
Mini Fridge to store leftovers. Free Wifi (45kpbs max though… pooo). And free breakfast for government personnel (the nice lady at the front desk hooked me up even though I was a contractor). Gym has 4 decent treadmills and dumbbells/​bench combo. I would recommend a «courtyard» view rather than the ugly parking lot.
