they really helped me out of a jamb by putting a new alternator in my car after it broke down on a Saturday. However, they charged me $ 411 for a rebuilt alternator. I checked two local auto parts stores and they both wanted about $ 205 for a rebuilt alternator. I’m sure NTB pays less than retail for parts, so they doubled the price of the part to me.
I contacted customer service and got an email from the District Manager saying he would gladly make an adjustment. I called him several times and emailed him four times, but he never got back to me and I never received an adjustment. That was a month ago. I even called customer service last week and was told someone would get back to me right away… nothing!

Very thorough and makes sure you know all that might need done now or at a later time.

Went here to have a brake on my car fixed. They quoted me $ 722, I then took it to a smaller garage and was quoted $ 450 for the exact same job. All I can say is ridiculously over priced. Pros: Extremely nice staff, helpful, and seem genuinely interested in your well being. Cons: overpriced

Yes, a little slow but I believe that are always way busy… being at the heart of Reading, they are overwhelmed with bossiness I think.
I would say drop off the car and puck it up later.
I gave them four stars because on the corporate level you don’t that much customer service but I got a lot of it at that Branch.
Joseph took care of my car in timely manner and that was my second time in 4 months to change tires and I was pleased by their courtesy, knowledge and hospitality that was the four star four

The only reason I ever did any business here was because of a really good sale on a set of tires. Every time I come back for my alignment & rotation I have to wait for their inspection. The latest wait was an hour & they still had gotten to the alignment. And that was with a scheduled appointment. (They are saying now it will be another 20 mins. The original est. was 45 mins. My appt was for 10:00, it’s 11:20 now & I’m still waiting.) Typical «add on» garage – always looking for more to do to add on to the invoice. Stay away unless you have a lot of time to waste!

Less than 1 star. I will never go here again-they’ve lost my business for good!
I had been going to this NTB for several years for oil changes, tires, alignments, etc. Never perfect service, but no issues. Then i make an appointment to get a simple inspection done.
When i made the appointment, im told the inspection could take about 1 hour. I had a prior engagement later that night, so i made the appointment allowing myself about 2 hours for a 1 hour job, more than enough if the inspection takes a little longer. Inspection day comes, i drop my car off and reconfirm about 1 hour for the inspection, and i go for a walk to pass the time. i come back about 45 min later, and my car is parked where i left it – half of me thinks they must have gotten it in right away and finished it quicker than anticipated (possible), but the other half of me thinks they havent even brought it in yet (the more likely explanation). I go in and they said they accidentally double-​booked the time and havent even started mine yet, so at least another 1hr+ before mine would get done if they started this instant. Why they couldnt tell me this when i got there so i didnt waste an hour, i dont know. Not having the time to wait another 1hr+, i leave.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt, i reschedule for a week later, confirm the time and any paperwork is needed (none they said).I again drop my car off, re-​confirm the time, and go for a walk. I get a call about an hour later. Im thinking they’re going to tell me its done, but nope, they are having trouble getting the wheels off because of the nut lock, plus they cant find the current proof of insurance, only the old one. I go back and after some protest as to why im getting a call an hour later, with no work done, the mechanic takes me back and shows me that the nut lock lug is stripped and wont work properly. So they cant complete the inspection. And they wont take an electronic copy of the insurance, nor do they have a working fax i can get the bank to send it to. i ask about an email account the bank could send it to, or i could send it directly from my phone, but they dont have an email account, only the manager does and hes not there. So i leave again, another trip and another couple hours wasted, ticked off, but also realizing the worn tire lock nut was my fault, not theirs.
I make another appointment, confirm the time and make sure i have hard copies of all the current paperwork (turns out the mechanic was reading the insurance card wrong, and i actually did have the current card, but i never looked at the time since it didnt matter because of the faulty lock nut. 3^rd time, i arrive, re-​confirm everything, present the paperwork and a new lock nut (which i personally tested on all 4 tires before arriving), and go for a walk. About 45 min later, i again receive a call, and am hoping this is the «all done, pick up your car» call. Nope, its the «sorry, we ran out of inspection stickers, so we should never have scheduled you for an inspection, and now we cant complete your inspection» call. Im beyond pissed at this point and first talk to the mechanic, then the manager comes out and i tell him of all the problems ive had there, and how i cant believe they’d make an appointment without the stickers, and then keep me waiting 1 hr before letting me know. He gives me some line about their new system and it not ordering the new stickers in time. He offers to get the sticker from another NTB, but when he calls, the best they can do is several hours from now – not acceptable. He offers free inspection and sticker if i come back as an apology and plee to keep my business, but i had had enough and walked out, never to return.

I don’t wright bad things but this place is so bad. I go to get four new tires I live over 40 mins away I go there because of special well not so special the online add says price is all in cluesive well not so they say its wroung this n that. So get that straight then they tell me we can’t do that tire because its a 4 ply and I need a 10 ply last I looked I left my semi truck at home and brought the toy truck. So now I gotta pay more money. So truck gets some maypops on it 1.5 hrs its done I leave not so happy but whatever till I drive down the road and now my truck is set up for NASCAR. Pulling hard left wasn’t like that b4 hand so I go back and say hay bad tire. I get everything that could be bad but the tires. So they rotate them still pulls they check alignment off I little not to ware it will pull so I pay guess what truck still pulled so now we get into a screaming match as I have now been 5 hours trying to get the maypops off. They call manager on phone he don’t want tires back I don’t want them after six hours they finally take tires off put bfg on there and guess what truck pulls straight so end result a really bad place never again I will drive on rims b4 I go back there

Slow and way overpriced for parts and labor. It took 3 hours to do pads and rotors. They didn’t have the parts in stock and seemed to work on my car in between other jobs. Car didn’t even get on the lift until 45 mins after my scheduled appointment.
Also their radio ad for free brakes is a bait and switch as the add doesn’t mention that only pads are included and only the cheapest ones they sell (which my car doesn’t even take). Will not do business with them ever again.
