All foot and ankle doctors are not alike. Some are very good at performing surgical procedures and prefer surgical interventions when indicated. Others are very good at surgery but prefer more conservative nonsurgical treatment options and helping their patients avoid surgery whenever possible.

Jeffrey M. Keating, DPM, takes a more conservative approach to patient foot and ankle care. He uses custom orthotics, braces, night splints, nonsurgical laser therapy and shockwave therapy for heel spurs and plantar fasciitis. He provides all treatments himself and gives each patient the time they need to understand their condition and care plan.

Dr. Keating is extremely caring and gentle with all of his patients. And he welcomes patients of all ages, from young athletes to older adults who want to be more active, no matter where they come from — Reading, PA, Birdsboro, PA or Berks County.
