DYD is a dance studio dedicated to helping children of all ages achieve their dreams and goals no matter how big or small. We pride ourselves on creating an atmosphere free of judgement for a positive experience for everyone.

We strive for all of our students to grow their self-confidence and self-expression throughout their dance classes.

At DYD, we welome all ages of children beginning at age 2 and we even offer adult classes for those late bloomers!

Laura A.

Business Owner

Laura Adams is the owner and director of Dance Your Dreams Studio of Dance. She opened DYD in 2011 and began living her dream! She started dancing when she was 5 years old. She started by taking ballet and tap classes. As she got older, she started taking more classes such as jazz and acrobats. She fell in love with acrobats and this became her specialty. Miss Laura has also taken pointe, lyrical, partnering, modern, and some hip-hop classes. At the age of seven, Miss Laura started dance competitions in parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and New York winning many awards and titles along the way. She has also taken many classes with big name choreographers. Miss Laura started teaching dance at the age of 14 by starting her own program with the community recreation center. She has also been an assistant teacher since that time as well. She enjoys teaching just as much as dancing herself. Dance has always been a huge part of her life and she hopes for it always to be.
