Awesome bagel spot in Reading. Super popular among the teenage local crowd and serves great on the go meals. Not your insane NYC bagels, but not garbage by any means. It even has a drive thru part. Check it out!

the best bagels and sandwiches and the WORST customer service/miserable workers and the SLOWEST lines ever! and there’s tons of people working there I don’t get it and they need a better system. Also the lady in front of me the other day ordered a dozen bagels, go inside if you are ordering more than a few things! something needs to change

Please don’t give Bagel World your business. They post a big sign on their door: «Express lane — Dozen only» — so when you wait in their slow line with your two kids they will then tell you to go wait in the Express line as you’re ‘just getting bagels’. When you kindly inform them that you are not actually getting a dozen but just 4 bagels they will just keep pointing to their Express line. I walked out of their without bagels, and two very disappointed girls. Thanks to Bagel World for starting my mothers day off with 2 crying kids.

WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! Called in a «White Tuna Salad bagel» for lunch. It came with JUST bagel and tuna and charged full price. Called them, they said you have to ask for the vegetables. It’s called a white tuna SALAD bagel!!! NEVERGOINGBACKAGAIN!!!

Hands down these are the best bagels in the world. Fact. However the service is so bad that it makes it impossible for me to give it a 5 star review — as much as I want to. The food is delightful and definitely worth giving it a try even with the slow and sometimes unfriendly service. Word of advice — don’t go hungry(hanger is inevitable).

Definitely the best bagels in MA and great coffee too. That being said, definitely the longest wait for bagels. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I’m shocked they haven’t moved to a bigger space/hired more staff. It’s really not ideal for the larger crowds it draws and the parking lot is always a mess. But the bagels are so delicious that a lot of people, myself included, keep coming back. I recommend their plain bagel, tossed with lox, onion and plain cream cheese. Extremely delicious and the lox is always fresh and tasty. For iced coffee, go with the French vanilla/hazelnut mix. Some bagel favorites are the salt bagel, egg bagel, and everything bagel.

The food is fantastic, there is no doubt about that. Unfortunately, the service is absolutely horrible. Although the food is worth the wait, I just don’t have 20 minutes to stand around and wait for a bagel and coffee on my way to work. Whether the line is 5 people or 20 people long, the service is always so slow, and the employees have no sense of urgency whatsoever. They move so slowly, and are constantly chit-chatting with one another. Perhaps they could focus more on creating a better system of taking and preparing orders in a timely fashion rather than sharing the latest gossip! After waiting in line and eventually leaving due to no movement in line after 10 minutes this morning, I think I will find elsewhere to get my weekly bagel and coffee treat.

Absolutely the BEST bagels for miles. Just had a most delicious lox sandwich on sesame. Every single ingredient was crispy fresh and flavorful. Got a cinnamon raisin bagel with butter for my toddler and he enjoyed it. The ladies who work there are efficient, friendly and attentive. This is my new favorite place

It’s hard not to give a five star review here. This place has the best bagels, the best sandwiches and the best prices. You can go in and get a bagel for breakfast, and a turkey sandwich for under ten bucks. Totally worth the wait.

Totally worth the wait on the weekends! My favorite is the turkey sandwich special on an everything bagel, sooo good and fresh! The coffee is also delicious!

I would give this place 5 stars, no doubt, but the wait is always ridiculous. Even on the very unusual occasion where there is not a really long line(inside or drive though) the service is SLOW. I mean, really slow. I guess that they are not too concerned about customer service because they know we’ll put up with it and keep coming back for the awesome bagels And sandwiches(and they ARE delicious!)

Yes, yes, so much yes! I have finally found a REAL bagel! Worth the 25 minute drive and 15 minute wait at the drive though. Bagels(and pizza) are what I miss most about home. Sorry Boston, but you just pale in comparison. But now I have long at last found an amazing salted bagel and veg cream cheese. I will have no probably driving back when the craving strikes. The menu is vast and prices are super cheap. What more can you want ?!

Best bagels any where, exactly what a bagel should taste like. Especially the everything. Lots of cream cheese choices but I love the veggie with the everything bagel. What isn’t apparent is if you want to get a dozen or a half dozen or buy a coffee or cream cheese in a container. They have a fast lane for that and can save a ton of time when everyone else is waiting a half hour in line for them to cut toast and spread cream cheese for you. I but 6 bagels and freeze them so I can pull them out when I want one and I don’t have to wait in line

Bagel world makes amazing bagels. It’s that simple. My mom has been taking us since I was in elementary school, when it wasn’t as popular as it is now! So many good choices. Their plain, chocolate chip, and French toast bagels are my favorite with regular cream cheese. They made amazing tuna salad too! That on a plain bagel with lettuce & tomato is a great lunch. Their fruit smoothies are good, but I hate their coffee– and I am easy to please when it comes to coffee! The reason for 4 stars is the service. I understand it’s busy because their bagels are delicious. But the staff moves at a snail’s pace, often talking and laughing with each other. That’s frustrating! I haven’t decided if drive through or inside is quicker. My opinion on that changes depending on the day!

These are bar none the best bagels in northern New England. Affordable and delicious– get the #2 on an everything bagel. Be prepared to wait atleast 20 minutes on the weekends or school vacations.

I’ve had some good experiences. Just the other day I’ve had a horrible one where I had honey walnut cream cheese that is the source of my heart burn since. Tasted really bad. I probably won’t be back. NOPE!

Best salt bagel in the region and the veggies are always fresh in the sandwiches. Their mocha iced coffee is also of good quality. The prices are also incredibly reasonable and the staff is quite polite. Accessing this place on busy weekend days is a nightmare regardless of if you’re going through the drive thru or not. It causes traffic issues on the street it is located on and it trying to take a left turn out of here is nightmarish though I cannot blame a business for being successful. But be prepared to wait an hour in line on a weekend morning. That isn’t an overstatement in the slightest.

Look up «Overrated» in the dictionary. Bagel World won’t be there, but it really should be. The wait time for a bagel is borderline offensive. I waited around the corner because I was guaranteed I wouldn’t regret it. Half an hour later, I had a bagel sandwich. This might be the only place in the world where that sentence happens on a regular basis, and that is NOT a good thing. 1. Untrained or uncaring employees. There was no urgency with a line that was actually out the door. Too many people stand there doing nothing, most busy restaurants figure out an assembly line for expediency. Instead, some bored woman stands in the back contributing nothing. 2. It’s a bagel sandwich. The build up of this place is the direct result of too many people eating too much Dunkin Donuts and having their palate completely watered down. Sure, its better than a fast food chain with their prepared egg and bland meat, but that’s about it. 3. It immediately makes you realize that everyone in line has never ventured to an actual diner in Boston, and certainly not New York City, as you were clearly the only person in line that has seen real food put on a decently sized bagel before. Is the bagel fine? Sure. Is it worth waiting longer than it would take a restaurant to serve you real food? Absolutely not.

My sandwich of choice here is always a chicken salad with pickles, lettuce, cucumbers and a little extra mayo. I’m choosy about my chicken salad and it’s so good here! Normally I choose a spinach bagel, but I got an onion bagel because it was near closing time and the selection was slim. Sometimes lack of selection is a blessing in disguise cause it was so good! The French toast bagel with cream cheese or a bagel with just veggies and cream cheese is awesome! Iced cappuccino is one of my favorite coffee drinks! Their flavored coffee is freshly brewed and delicious. What I love about this place is they don’t add flavored syrups, the coffee is already flavored. Lots of options for sandwiches! There is a drive thru and a parking lot. It can get really crowded at times so prepare for a wait!
