We worked with Steven to complete our 2014 taxes, because it was an especially complicated year for us. We originally found him through Dave Ramsey’s website. It was our first time working with a tax accountant. We were given an estimate and then met with him.
Steven took his time to understand our tax situation and had our taxes complete within about a month, even though our state return required some learning on his part. In the end, the cost was about $ 200 more than the estimate due to the learning curve, but he wrote off the extra costs, which we thought was very fair of him.
When we met to review the returns, Steven presented us with three bound sets of returns and the originals of our documents. He went through each return with us and then gave us copies of everything that needed to be mailed along with specific instructions.
When we compared the returns Steven completed with the estimates from H&R Block online, it was clear that he had earned his keep. We felt confident with his work and will definitely use him again.
