Business Owner

Dr. Bunde was born in Hastings Nebraska. He earned an undergraduate degree in Biology in 1992 at Cornell College where he played basketball. His Doctorate of Optometry degree was earned from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1997. After graduating from Optometry school he took a job in Kansas City to work in a Pediatric Strabismus office. Two years later he entered into a partnership with four Optometric offices scattered around the Kansas City area. In 2004 he left the partnership to start Fairway Eye Centers with two locations in Fairway, KS and Excelsior Springs, MO. The Excelsior Springs office has since moved to its current location in Liberty. Fairway Eye Centers now consists of four offices, including the two aforementioned locations and the addition of offices in Raytown, MO and in the Camelot Court Shopping Center in Leawood.
