I wanted to get some training to help me become successful in the competitive dog obedience ring and I sure got what I wanted. I’ve been to dog training classes closer to home, but none of them gave me the fine details I needed to be really crisp in the ring. Nancy was our trainer and she really understands how to get the best out of a dog with positive reinforcement. My dog loved her and I was amazed at how well she responded. I learned how to expect more from my dog and to be more positive and even have fun while doing it.
The facility at Performance Plus is top notch. It is always clean and bright. The floor is open without poles anywhere. The equipment is in great shape. They even sell cheese sticks for when I forget to bring my own for treats.

Our Bruno (Boxer mix) a rescue shelter has anxiety. Staff seem to handle his issues well. He has gone here multiple times for day care. No problems at all, staff are friendly. Clean place and safe for your pets!

I’ve continued taking classes at Performance Plus and continue to be delighted with them! I wanted to update my review to highlight my experiences with specifically Wag It offerings with Chrissy.
Our puppy is now 10 months old, and she is a handful. She loves to work, but she is very easy to distract, and gets bored and antsy at the drop of a hat. The Wag It classes with Chrissy have been awesome! She is very good at handling multiple dogs of different skill level in the same class and keeping the experience positive for everyone. You can tell that she loves her work, and the dogs can tell, too! If you’re looking for something fun to do to bond with your dog and get some of their energy out, definitely look into a Wag It class with Chrissy.

We have taken our puppy here for training since he was a baby. Erika is beyond phenomenal with younger animals and first time puppy owners. She taught us the right and wrong ways to treat and praise our puppy.
We also take him to the train n plays where he is worn out. They are so good to him and always seem so happy to see him. They give you a report card the first time to tell you how your dog is interacting with other dogs and the trainers.
If it wasn’t for Performance Plus I am pretty sure we wouldn’t have such a well behaved pup on our hands.

I brought my dog and my son’s dog here for training and it was absolutely horrible. The owner was unprofessional calling my son’s dog names and told my son and his wife they should stay on birth control and never have children. They humiliated them and my husband. We took our puppies here to help us and instead was treated horrible. I would never recommend anyone to come here who does not have a fluffy lab. I removed our puppies from the 30 mins training sessions rather than the 1 hour I paid for and asked for a refund due to the verbal abuse we received however instead we were told no. The owner says they can do whatever they want because she is the owner including hitting my son with dog treats and laughing. Completely unprofessional place.

I have brought my dog here a few times for a bath and they really do an excellent job. This time he had been rolling in skunk cabbage and smelt like death, so it was a huge relief to pick him up and see him all fluffy and smelling like a puppy again. The groomer does an excellent job clipping the hair to match the breed. I highly recommend this place.

I cannot say enough about this business. They are absolutely incredible. Their facility is immaculate. Very clean, very new, and always a smiling staff. They have training classes for all types of dogs. If your looking just for puppy training or your looking to go further this is the place to go. The staff and owner are very hands on and they care so much about the dogs that go here. They also have a train and play program which is similar to doggy day care, but they actually have trainers who spend some time with them during the day. Very knowledgeable staff and help you along the way. Highly recommended!
