History

Established in 2008.

Art has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. And as a college art major, I found a passion for photography. Hours in the darkroom and behind the lens were hours well spent. I could easily spend 6 hours and have no idea that much time had past. When I graduated, the practical and Business minor side of me took over and I entered the field of marketing.

The birth of my children changed my life in amazing ways as most parents are acutely aware. It came time to leave my traditional work behind and stay home with my children full time. As each month passed, I realized that each moment was fleeting and there’s no time like the present to start doing what you love. I also realized that I wanted my children to grow up knowing they can have dreams. And more importantly, that no matter how big or how small, those dreams can be realized. But how could I instill that confidence in them, if I didn’t make one of my own dreams come true? So, I started Lily Jack Photography.

1998 – 2004 Worked in Marketing for Pearson Education.

2004 – 2007 Worked in Sales and Marketing at Selectwood.
