In our safe surroundings and enriching environment, children have the responsibility of choosing their own activities. They develop a higher level of self-​confidence and form friendships that last forever. Our camp is so much fun they’ll want to come back year after year! Meet the Manager

Alan K.

Manager

Our Director is Alan Kissack. He has been working with children since graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 1985. Prior to joining us, Alan directed at several camps and for many other organizations serving children, including the YMCA and the Girl Scouts.

Alan has been involved in Maine camping for the past 40 years as a camper, junior counselor, counselor, program director, assistant director, and director. He was the director of a school-​age childcare program and of the Bangor YMCA’s youth and teen programs. Alan lives with his wife, Christine, in Cumberland, Maine.
