Huntergreen Inn & Pub

The pizza was just OK, nothing exceptional. However it was over cooked with burnt crust. It might have been good had the cook been able to tell done from burnt.
I had BBQ chicken, twice baked potato, peas/​carrots. They must get their entres from Schwans. The BBQ chicken was 2 breasts with BBQ sauce poured over. Definitely wasn’t cooked in BBQ. Tasteless. Twice baked potato probably came wrapped in plastic in a box from Sam’s.
Wife has chicken parmesan. Right out of a frozen prepared box. Edible is the best thing we can say about it.
Way over priced for the quality. For the prices charged everything should have been freshly prepared.
While the food was mediocre the service was TERRIBLE!!! Young male «waiter» was in over his head. Very slow. We finally had to ask for menus. He wasn’t even competent enough to keep tea & water glasses filled. We had to continually ask for refills. He never brought refills without having to be asked. He would disappear and wouldn’t show up for periods of time then still wouldn’t check on customers. One of the worst waiters we’ve had any where.
Nice décor but due to the off the shelf, out of a box, over priced blah food and extremely poor service we won’t be back. Too bad since we live close and would be good to have a nice place to grab something to eat. Instead we’ll stop by the local gas station.
