We came here for a family outing in search of the sweet and sassy nectar of the gods called Maple yesterday … Maine Maple Sunday.
We have been to places in years past and I have to admit it was nothing short of amazing with products like Maple cotton candy, Maple butter, Maple pepper, Maple taffy, and anything else your heart desires for Maple heaven.
Even though it was freezing out and we couldn’t see any of the tapped trees but we popped out to see the petting horse and the machine used to cook the maple down to usable form.
Everyone was super friendly and the line moved very quickly unlike other places we have been before and if you reach out to them out of season they will fill orders for you.
This sugar shack was well worth the trip and was decadent sweet and delicious. We will be back!
