We just had dinner and drinks there and wish we lived close enough to become regulars! If you’re looking for a «fancy» restaurant, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for great food and a place with great history with a family that makes you feel welcome, stop here! Thanks for a great time!

What an amazing experience! We stopped half way between Syracuse and Boston and had delicious burgers. Great ambiance! Will definitely come again next trip. Trust us, stop and enjoy. Is it a beaver or a porcupine? Make sure to ask!

Was driving from Boston to Buffalo and needed a place to stop for dinner. Great place! Great burger, good beer, nice people. Would definitely come back.

I have driven by this place for years. After reading reviews I had to give it a try. I got a po boy and on my way home I kept thinking if this tastes half as good as it smells I’ll be a happy girl. All I can say is OMG! It was so good and I will most definately try their other food. YUM!!!

Fantastic food! Steak and cheese with peppers, onions and mushrooms in one of our favorites. Fried pickles and fried mac n cheese is also ordered frequently. Nostalgic memorabilia inside with a regular clientele. Price is very affordable.

I passed this place a million times, but never considered going in. A friend told me their wings were awesome, and since that first trip, have been back about three times. I know it’s not much from the outside, and the clientele is your typical blue collar beer drinkers… but if you’re looking for killer wings and great bar food, this is some of the best you’ll find. Really, the food in this place is unreal.

What a find. We’re here on our boat and went in to the hardware store — the guys were eating lunch and their sandwiches looked great. So we went to the place they got them. It’s a fifth-generation owned tavern that was started by the current owners great grandfather in 1906. The walls are full of all sorts of memorabilia, but enough of that. We had lunch there and ordered the po-boy sandwich which came with grilled(not fried) shrimp and a wonderful remoulade sauce and was a very generous size. Their French fries were homemade. All the other sandwiches that came out looked excellent. Their beer selection is also good. They also have interesting sounding wraps and burgers.
