Description

Specialties

We do more than typical glasses and contact lens examinations, such as treating dry eyes with medications (Rx and non-Rx), punctal plugs, and meibomian gland expression. Dr. Rebuck also evaluates and treats lazy eye (a turned eye), computer vision syndrome, pink eyes, allergies, removes foreign bodies, and co-manages post-operative LASIK and cataract patients.

Other services that we provide are specialty contact lens fittings and evaluations for traumatic corneas, corneal surgery complications, keratoconus, and ectasias that don’t see well with standard contact lenses. We can provide slit lamp photos to monitor pre– and post-treatment of issues affecting the corneas or other parts of the front of your eyes, retinal/fundus photography to monitor issues affecting the back of your eyes, like diabetic eye disease & macular degeneration. We provide perimetry to diagnose, treat, and monitor glaucoma.

Our practice serves patients from Ranson, Charles Town, Martinsburg and Shepherdstown, WV.

History

Established in 2011.

Dr. Rebuck, OD has been practicing in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia since 2004. He initially practiced in the Martinsburg Mall and relocated to Ranson, West Virginia in 2011. He wanted to use more of his optometric training than the typical mall or retail practice and their clientele expect.

Since opening the practice, he has added new brands of contact lenses and glasses frames that were not previously available in this region.

Dr. Rebuck also brings his yellow labrador retriever, Blondie, to work and she’s very popular with the patients and their families. Her presence really seems to calm some patients, especially children, who may be a bit anxious about a visit to the doctor.
