Their bagels are okay and priced well but they are certainly not the best in Randolph. I often only go there out of convenience. The wait for your food, regardless of the line is always so long.

Never again !!! First off the place was not crowded on a Saturday morning«REDFLAG« Me and my co worker /friend decided to go here because it was convenient and close and after working a 15 hour shift we were starving. We both ordered two bagels, Hers a plain with butter with coffee and mine was sesame with cream cheese with coffee… pretty simple, Don’t need to be a rocket scientist . Like i said before the place was not crowded but it still took them 20 mins to prepare our order and somehow they managed to mess it up. My friend even had some extra special goodness in hers a little black hair { gross} let me just say it was NOT worth the wait … The bagels we’re tasteless, inferior to what a real good bagel taste like. The workers were unfriendly and rude, There’s nothing worse than going into a food establishment and have the woman who is taking your order Chomping with a mouthful of food in her mouth. Very rude and disgusting !!! Next time when we are starving and looking for convenience .We’ll eat a card bored box before we go back to Brooklyn bagel & deli .» it will probably have more favor than the bagels did !!!

Here’s the Deal: This location is in the new strip mall behind the Randolph Diner! I’ve stopped in for lunch a few times to grab a sandwich. They offer a variety of hot or cold sandwiches all created in the open kitchen floor plan behind the register. They do offer a cozy little place off to the side for some seating and TV’s. The sandwiches have been a good bargin & very tasty so for… Definitely check it out!

What a great breakfast at Brooklyn Bagel! While I usually frequent another bagel place in Randolph, I decided to give Brooklyn a shot. I really enjoyed the place! I ordered bacon, eggs, and cheese on a plain bagel with a large coffee and was very satisfied. The bagel was excellent as was the rest of the sandwich. Two big advantages that Brooklyn has…1) The parking is excellent! It’s a huge lot and there’s no stress trying to find a space…2) The atmosphere inside is very nice! It’s huge with plenty of tables and a tv. It’s also very clean! I brought home a few bagels for the family. That will be the real test!

We’ve been coming to Brooklyn Bagels for almost a year now. My kids love the bagels. The bagels are big portioned. It’s nice you can grab a delicious bagel close to home and sit back in their seating area or outside. The outside seating is nice in the summer. The employees are always courteous. At times, the owner comes to us to make sure everything is ok. I would recommend!

Brooklyn bagels more like busted bagels or broke back bagels. But New York style bagels it was not. Coming from New York we know what New York bagels should taste like should look like and what it should feel like these met none of that criteria. This place is only taking advantage of the Brooklyn name. My wife ordered an everything bagel toasted with vegetable cream cheese. The bagel itself had like four seeds the outside was almost burnt while the inside was soggy. The cream cheese was minimal at best to the point where it melted while being placed on the bagel. The cream cheese was so insignificant that by the time we got the bagel and it melted into the dough. It was the first time she had had an everything bagel that taste like nothing. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with butter Again the outside was almost burnt while the inside was soggy from the over excessive amounts of butter that was put on the bagel When I bit into my bagel it taste like burnt onions who on earth would want to bite into a cinnamon raisin bagel and taste burnt onions. In the end the best thing about this bagel shop is the interior where you can sit down and eat your bagel other than that I and my wife will never go back to busted Brooklyn bagels.

I’ve been going here since I moved to randolph. At first it was the best bagel place I’ve been too in some time. Over the months the service has gotten absolutely ridiculous. If I’m not spanish I don’t get good service from what I’ve been seeing. It’s not just me that feels this way either. My family goes there and friends and they all feel the same way. I can stand there for 15 min waiting for an order that I called in while the 2 or 3 counter workers will be helping 1 cutomers that just happens to be spanish for 10min. By the time you get your order it’s cold because they will just leave your order in a open paper bag on the counter. It’s not just me either. I’ll look around and see other Caucasian’s standing around impatiently. I didn’t think a place like this in an area like this would be treating there customers in a racist fashion. Maybe if the owner would actually show his face once in a while maybe his workers would actually be doing the right thing and providing the right kind of service in this beautiful town. I will never show my face there ever again and spend my money at this place. Go to alfa’s where atleast your treated like everybody else who goes there.

We’ve been here once or twice a month for the last year. It’s close to my in-laws house and we make it a point to come here every time for a multitude of reasons. Service — I have not had bad service here once. Each time I’m greeted quickly and happily. What some may view as «cold» is New York warm. This is Brooklyn Bagels, not Middle-Of-Nowhere Bagels. Their job is to get you in and out quickly so that they can service the next customer. Quality — I am from Brooklyn and I haven’t had bagels this good since I’ve been home and I never got a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel so delicious as I get from here. It’s always solid and always fantastic. Some reviewers stated that their orders were wrong– maybe they spoke too quietly or misspoke because I haven’t gotten mine wrong yet. Price — it’s relatively cheap for a bagel joint with quality food. A+.

Good bagels, but seems like the counter help does not want to be there. No Hi. No thanks. Hard to go back with such cold faces working the counter. Also very slow in getting orders back to customer.

I was going to try Alpha Bagel again to find out if they made any improvement in food handling issues that I wrote about 3 months ago. I never made it to Alpha, decided to go Brooklyn Bagel & Deli. The counter people don’t say much but they handle the food correctly with gloves and removal of gloves when handling money. The Bagel was perfect, it actually taste like a bagel. The outside had a semi hard shell with a warm & fluffy interior, the cream cheese was smooth and plenty of it on the bagel. The A/C was on and I sat in the lounge eating my bagel and drinking coffee. I will be back again to see if this was a fluke or is this the new standard of service.

I’m not a fan of alpha bagels down the street. Not into floppy bagels. But since Brooklyn Bagel opened, I can get good bagels right in town. A little confused by everyone complaining about the service. It’s a little impersonal, but it’s a busy bagel place. What can you expect?

Excellent place. Great food — really good variety of bagels. Highly recommend the French toast bagel. Awesome! My only complaint is the fact that the leave all the windows open on hot, humid days making the place very sticky and uncomfortable which is a shame because they have a nice dining area(unlike many bagel and deli places). Great food but get it to go in the summer.

Bagels with cream cheese were very good, bagel with egg and cheese was nothing special(head to alfa for that), and the service was actually terrible. they completely messed up our very simple order. we were in a rush and didn’t check to make sure our order was correct when we left. we ended up coming back to the store to return the bagels and all they said was that they would refund us $ 5. Quite annoying.

Have to agree with Antonia as far as bagels go. Bagels are good, but the overall experience was«meh». Asked for some salt and pepper on my egg sandwich and it was unbearably salty. I still ate the sandwich because I was hungry and in a rush and honestly, I can’t condemn them for this isolated incident, but I will say that the real reason I’d probably not go back is because of lack of service. People behind the counter were not warm or welcoming and teetered on borderline rude. Shame. The place is nice but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

The people at the counter were not the friendliest and the bagels look and taste plasticy. Naaah I’m good.

Randolph now has 3 bagel places now within a 1⁄8th of a mile radius from the intersection at Center Grove Road and Route 10. When Brooklyn Bagel opened, I was a bit skeptical as to how this place would hold up when Alfa Bagel has long been the go-to bagel place in the area. I’ve never gone anywhere but Alfa for years now. When I went to Brooklyn for the first time last week, I was expecting to only go there the one time, and head right back to Alfa for my future bagel needs, which has become less and less. I can say that will not be happening as Brooklyn Bagel equals or surpasses everything Alfa has to offer, and is in a better location to boot. What I noticed upon my first visit was that some of the cooks, and the counter girls used to work at Alfa Bagels. What better way to ensure you have a comparable bagel than to have some of Alfa’s former employees making them? The bagels are every bit as good. I was very pleased to see some of Alfa’s ex-employees working the front counter as the girls were always pleasant when they were at Alfa. Biggest thing I cannot stress enough about Brooklyn are their Bacon, Egg, and Cheese breakfast sandwiches absolutely annihilate Alfa’s version. I stopped getting it in Alfa because there was barely anything on the sandwich… just an anemic egg, a couple of the thinnest slices of bacon. I would find myself hungry in 2 hours after an Alfa sandwich. Not the case with Brooklyn, you actually get what you pay for. I don’t know why Dan S.‘s 11÷25÷14 review gave the place such poor marks for the counter help. Hey Dan, not everyone needs their hand held when they order, and we know the drill. You order, you wait for your order, and then you pay. That’s normal at every restaurant I’ve ever been in. If you are looking for someone to talk to at length, go make an appointment with a therapist. Geez. Anyway, I cannot recommend Brooklyn Bagel enough at this time and will be going here instead of Alfa for good. As long as they maintain the quality they have now, they will be the best bagel place in Randolph for years! Take the time to drop in, the store is clean, and feels open as opposed to the squashed feeling of Alfa.

The employees are way to comfortable. Eating food at the register as you walk up. Very little communication with me. No «hi, welcome, how can I help you? Nothing. I ordered and she walked away. Wasn’t sure if I was to pay them or not. No seems like they enjoy working there. Sad, because Randolph needs more places like this.

Granted this place just opened and they have to work out a few kinks but ordered take out mid morning on a Monday and I waited 20 mins before I was billed out only had one person in front of me and 5 behind me and 2 women behind the counter working together INSTEAD of someone opening the other register. Also numerous of people were asking where the owner was and he was no where to be found. Then I get my food which are big bagels but very disappointed in the Brooklyn style sandwich. I listened to the review below which obviously is someone who owns or know who owns this place bc all his reviews are in that complex and will never make that mistake again. Paid $ 13 for 2 slices of rye bread underneath a pile of meat. Dont get me wrong the meat is good but not worth that much and could of been way better. So not worth the money I didn’t even want to eat it. Everyone else’s meals looked great I’ll give this place another shot since they are fairly new. Hopefully they have faster cashier’s and a better sandiwch that isn’t outrageous in price for NOTHINGFANTASTIC!

Brooklyn Bagel & Deli just opened up in my town, Randolph and It has turned into my go to spot. Firstly, the bagels are huge and very inexpensive, a lot better then the other bagels places in my town. Secondly, I tried their HOTBROOKLYNSTYLE Deli sandwiches and they were AMAZING. So fresh and juicy! Lastly they sell ethic Mediterranean foods, oils, spices, olives and desserts! I recommend Brooklyn Bagel & Deli to everyone!
