Chesapeake Collision

Horrible experience, integrity questionable. When I called to schedule my minor repair, I asked how long the minor repair would take and I was told if I dropped my car off on Monday, it would possibly be done Tuesday evening and for certain Wednesday if there was no hidden damage. I made it clear I needed my car back by Wednesday. I specifically asked if they had a lot of work and could not honor the promise as I would take my car elsewhere to which they responded they could honor the promise. Tuesday someone called and said my car would not be ready until Thursday. Well Thursday came and no one called so I called at 4ish. I was told they found NO additional damage BUT my car was not ready n would not be ready. When I asked why I received a song n dance about the volume of work they had… the very reason I posed the question originally. I spoke with the manager who then advised he would keep his workers late and «throw it together!» Yep, that’s what he said. He promised my car would be ready later that evening n he would call me. Needless to say, it’s 7:22pm and I’ve heard nothing. I would suggest they knew when I asked that they were busy so why weren’t they honest enough to just say, we’re busy and we can’t accommodate you. That is what a business that deals in integrity would do and they would have been ok with passing up my business because your brand means more than money. I just hope they «throw it together» properly so I do not have to deal with them anymore.

My experience was great. No stress although unexpected car repairs can be stressful. I must say, Geico has a sweet and convenient set up at the shop. They really know how to treat their customers. Geico had Enterprise there waiting with a rental for me. I was greeted immediately when I arrived. Advised of the work that would be done, signed off on that. Then escorted to the rental area to sign that paperwork, then escorted to the rental amd on my merry little way. All under probably 10 – 15 minutes. You couldn’t ask for better customer service.
If ever you are involved in an accident and need repairs, I highly recommend this shop.
