Went fort the last time today. The place was abandoned. Four staff members-​none said a word to me. There was a guy waiting at the counter. After what seemed to be five minutes, I asked the guy if he had ordered. Nobody was paying attention to either of us. I like their salads but I have experienced this kind of neglectful service here before. Won’t go back.

I don’t know how to reply to you directly! Sorry! I’ve been many times. Last time was probably a couple weeks ago. When it first opened I went more often but it was so inconsistent and strange it’s more of something I only do if kids really burgers and we need a quick meal– better than McDonald’s. So more out of necessity at this point. It’s usually every couple months. Everything we have ever ordered has been messed up on some way though. When I come I always make sure to open everything while sitting at the drive through before leaving because the order hasn’t ever been correct. The biggest thing is we are a family that hates mayo and no matter how much I ask there is always mayo slipped all over so we have to ask them to remake the items. But since you are asking the veggie burger there is sometimes way undercooked and falling apart and sometimes salads and things are missing ingredients listed on the board. Like I may get a chicken salad that says it comes with cheese on it and there isn’t any cheese or the dressing is missing. Stuff like that.

Broiler express is a great restaurant! The wraps and burgers are delicious! Posole on Saturday and Sunday’s is always a treat! Wide variety and many options to chose from. Quick and efficient! Very clean establishment! New owners have made great changes! Broiler Express is a staple in my weekly dinning!

Under NEW ownership. The food is of quality, if you’re expecting a fast food restaurant go to McDonald’s. The menu has a wide variety to choose from. I love the fact that I can have breakfast for dinner. French Toast, amazing breakfast burritos etc. I was happy like a child when I had the grilled cheese basket with fries and a real strawberry shake. The salmon plate is delicious! Specials daily. It’s such a treat to go into Broiler Express and see that they have a surprise dish for the day. Not even on the menu they brought in shrimp fajitas. The added bonus posole on the weekends!!! The food is consistent. American food, mexican food, greek food, seafood, so much food to choose froom. On my way now to get my lunch!!!

Stopped in after passing this place going down Western Ave a hundred times. Ordered at counter inside place was not that crowded or drive thru was not backed up but it took forever to get my food. Ordered pastrami sandwich & fries, sandwich was dry, roll was old, pastrami was tough, not much flavor, fries were not cooked enough either, gave them 2 stars cause my Ice Tee was good, but you can’t screw up that. If you want good Pastrami just stick to Busy Bee!
Giving up on this place! One strike and your out.

Pony Express is more like it. This place is consistently slow. This evening I ordered 3 hamburgers in the drive thru. Took approximately 20 minutes even though there are only two cars in front of me. Food is ok the price is fair but boiler Express has no relation to fast food

I like boiler Express because they have a very varied menu with lots of options including many healthy options. I enjoy the turkey avocado and bacon wrap on a spinach tortilla. The Greek salad is terrific especially if you add some chicken. The food is pretty consistently good. My main complaint about this establishment is just that the drive thru takes forever!

It is a small little place but very modern and newly remodeled the prices are great they have some good specials and all of the food is good from their burgers to their fish to their wraps to their salads I really like their feta fries myself

I have been here a few times and after today I won’t be back :(I used Unilocal to place a pickup order and sent the bf to get it. I got a chicken wrap and the spinach tortilla was falling apart and made it inedible, he has a breakfast burrito with a regular tortilla that was falling apart as well. I asked for a side of ranch which was not given and I ordered a vanilla shake which we did not receive. Overall the food wasn’t great, tortillas were old and falling apart and the order was incorrect :(. What a bummer

If I could give them minus five stars I would!!! I ordered a BLT online today arrived a minute before they said it would be ready 25 minutes later after knocking on the window at the drive thru (blowing my horn 9 times didnt get them!!) I was able to get my money back and they still gave me the BLT that probably was sitting there for the half hour!
Removing this app from my phone, never going there again!

This is a review based solely on the CHECK IN OFFER. FREE SODA.
I love this restaurant great food, owners are awesome, but there is a female cashier who works the am shift, that has refused to give me the check in soda twice now. Once because they changed it from breakfast burritos to platters, but didn’t say that until after I checked in already. Then today I came in and got a breakfast platter, She refused to give me the soda, said its only lunch platters, the check is does not specify that. She refused to give me the soda. I feel like on principal alone, she should’ve still given me the soda, my family and I eat here a couple times a week and I feel like the check in for the free soda fools you if they have hidden terms, they need to be more specific on the check in.
Also I wouldn’t be writing this if this same cashier hasn’t done this to me twice. Then when I question her about it, she will not budge and definitely has the attitude that she is right and the customer is wrong.
Please be more specific on your check ins.

Used to be a very good place to get a bite to eat, now they are without question home of the most overpriced cheeseburger in San Pedro. If you find yourself driving around town wanting to sample the world’s thinnest hamburger this is the place for you. In fact I would have to say that the menu you use to order a hamburger is thicker than the beef patty they serve. OMG… did I say beef patty, I take it back it’s more of a protein micromesh, it is literally thinner than an iPhone 6. If you want a better cheeseburger go to Del Taco… lol… no seriously it is actually better!
The only reason I rate them with a one star review is they are a good choice for a vegetarian looking to try a hamburger without the pesky concern of ingesting beef.
Update…
Even though the new owner is trying, I took her up on the offer to come back and give it a try on the house. True to her word she made good on the offer, unfortunately there was no change in the quality or size of the burger. It is a nice café with many selections but when I see the name Broiler, I think Hamburger.
