I’m pretty content with Tio’s. The food there is pretty good, although I feel that it needs some salt at times. My complaints would be that the chips are almost always stale and one of the men in he staff comes off kinda rude. I was asking how many taquitos come in an order and he blurted«THREE!!» Before I could even finish the question. He may get the question a lot, but at least let me finish!

The food is ok but don’t expect authentic Mexican food. Cheddar and Mont. Jack cheeses aren’t typically use in Mexican food, we use Fresco, Cotija and Oxaca cheeses. I occasionally visit but not emailing Guy Fieri to come check them out for DDD.

I’m guessing he suggested the carne asada burrito because it’s a little more expensive, definitely not because it’s good. Chicken flautas were dry, and the guacamole was watered down.

Horrible. Horrible«Mexican» salad aka soggy shredded lettuce with luke-warm chicken. Taco Bell has tastier tacos. Where was the flavor? Watered down salsa. Waste of money. Never returning.

Been coming here for a very long time. Cute décor. Love their Taco Tuesdays, all tacos are always overflowing with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes. Wish they would give chips to go. Salsa is not as bad as everyone says. Service could be much improved though. Cash register guy, would it kill you to smile, speak clearly, and make eye contact?

Learn how to handle food before you kill someone. This is the worst food poising I’ve ever had in my life

Salty, terrible food. Salsa appears to be canned variety? Don’t waste your money. Guy working the register(Desi?) has an attitude and appears very angry at his station in life. Posting signs complaining about people using too much of your terrible salsa… odd.

Food is ok in a pinch. But not my first choice. The menudo is ok. The Salsa is a joke, tastes like Pace but stale. My biggest complaint is the live roach that I saw in the dining area 5 feet from me being swept up by a worker. Also, there is a lot of coughing into the hands by the big guy behind the counter. Not just once but every time I’ve been there. Enough, I can’t go back. The Fontana location seems to be all around better.

Food is decent. It is white Mexican as many reviews have said, but most of the people are white that eat there, makes sense. I’ve eaten there twice. Nothing to write home about but fresh and tasty. The salsa«bar» has pretty good salsa and the chips are fresh but the sign reading that if people take too much they are considering charging for it might be a bit much. It’s not a sit down restaurant you don’t have to have chips and salsa. If it’s too much cost just dump it, don’t whine about it. Probably would have given it another star or two for the fast and freshness but Desi Arnaz behind the register is so curt, angry, and low energy it makes it a bit uncomfortable. If he’s really going for the«angry restaurant owner» as a shtick then he needs to kick it up a notch, as it stands he just seems like he really doesn’t want to be there and he’s fairly aloof. Add some sarcasm man. Babaloooooo!!!

I was driving through Rancho Cucamonga when I noticed on my Apple Maps program this restaurant. It had some good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I wasnt expecting great Mexican food because I was in Rancho Cucamonga. At best white washed Mexican food. I decided to try the fajitas, and they were actually really good. The rice was so-so but the avocado pico de gallo salad was good. The salsa looked like it was Pace or La Victoria, in other words no authentic Mexican salsa. Overall I will give them 4 stars. The prices are reasonable and service was fast.

I’ve been coming here for over 7 years and all I can say is «the food is great!» It’s always fresh and tasty. The place can get real busy on certains days and times, but it’s worth the wait. Also, I am so glad that they have young ladies running the counter, as I felt that the men that waited on guests previously were a little on the rude side. I can’t attest that this is what some would claim as original mexican fare, but it sure is tasty.

Everything here is great and I come back again and again but have just two peeves, the same picture on the wall is always crooked and the tables«wobble» always feel like I am going to fall out of my seat!

We come here for Taco Tuesday sometimes. The special is buy one, get one on hard shell tacos. I’ve only tried the chicken ones but they’re pretty good.

Love their Chile verde. Their taco Tuesday sucks for being a Mexican restaurant. They offer buy one get one free(hardshell chicken tacos only). Heads up to their cleanup crew, the high chairs were all dirty and broken.

I used to love Tio’s and ate there all the time ever since I was in junior high. However, I returned to Tio’s after a year of being away for college and found the service and food to have gone downhill. First off, the man who was running the cashier was very brash and rude in the way he was taking the orders. He started asking me questions about my order very quickly and mumbled them so I had no idea what he was saying. After asking him, «I’m sorry, what was that?» he ignored me and asked for the next customer in line. Not only that, but the food did not taste as good and I feel as if the price for the amount and quality of food you get is not worth it. Definitely will not be eating here again.

It’s been ok here at times but nothing special and definitley far from authentic. The owners who are usually at the register are not very friendly and have no qualms with telling you you’re wrong! The only explantion I can give for it’s steady bussiness is it’s location as there’s nothing similar close by.(Luna at VG is in a class of it’s own). I’d personally rather drive to Miguel Jr’s for better food and service 9 out of 10 times and that is a drive thru restaurant!

Had fish and asada tacos. The fish tacos sucked they were frozen fish sticks the Thousand Island dressing on it and asada tacos were cold loaded with cabbage and guacamole I could make better ones with my eyes closed I will not come back to this place hope they do better on their other dishes

First time here. Chile Verde dinner plate was very delicious. A must try. Customer service was good. Place was not very attractive. Serving was more than expected. One order can feed two. Price was very reasonable.

3.5 Stars Coming from Los Angeles county, my husband and I have had our share of awesome authentic Mexican food. So now that we’re in the IE, Tio’s was one of the places to try. They’re located in the same plaza as the Sprout’s. There’s also one off Haven Avenue by Lemon, but I heard the owners are more present at this one off Day Creek. I have a friend/coworker tell me he’s the only Mexican who actually dines here. After dining in a few times, I know what he’s talking about now. LOL My husband and I have been here a few times now and tried the following: Menudo(weekends only) Chile Verde Chilaquiles Carne Asada Tacos Mexican salad(chicken or beef, comes with guacamole and sour cream on top) The flavors are good. The chilaquiles are tasty especially with the tortilla chips soaked in hot sauce and a fried egg on top. They have Taco Tuesday, but we found out they serve them in hard shells(which I’m not a fan of). They have indoor and outdoor seating. We’ve brought one of our dogs here and ordered a side of chicken for her. The last time we were here, we sat outside and they forgot to give us our tortillas and part of our order. There was a lady who took our order and I think she messed up. The owner seemed to be upset with her. Overall, it’s okay and we’ve been returning several times a month.
