I get dragged here all the time by my man. I swear this is like the Disneyland for dudes.
I must say this is one of the most organized and friendly Home Depots I’ve been too. Price wise it’s reasonable.
Extra star for hotdogs, chips and drinks outside the store. As long as I’m well fed, I can walk through this store of hours without complaining.

the home depot in rancho cucamonga is the worst. pay close attention to the people they send to your house to do work. this store does not even deserve 1 star

I usually have great experiences at Home Depot and I’m hoping this past visit was an abhorrent anomaly. I entered the Tool Rental facility to find a line already formed. There was no employee in sight– in fact when I asked the people in front of me if they had seen an employee they replied that they had not for the past 20 minutes. Side note– that seems dangerous with such heavy machinery. Further a door with the sign «Associates– keep door closed at all times» was wide open. I walked back into the store to ask a cashier to call somebody who could help… after that an additional 10 minutes went by. Finally an employee did walk in. An additional two employees started to help shortly after that however one woman just stood behind the counter joking with her coworkers. I found that bizarre since there was a line of now 7 guests. I don’t know how long the tool rental process takes, apparently a long time, so when it was my turn I was surprised to find out that only one of the three employees behind the counter was able to rent a truck. So while it was my turn 4 guests behind me were able to be serviced first, since I needed the King of Home Depot to do my truck rental. When I asked for a truck he told me there were none available– I saw two in the parking lot– and when I pressed further about those two he told me there were reserved for the next day. I just needed it for the day and was confused why isn’t wasn’t available. Finally one of the two available trucks was suddenly available and I was able to leave Home Depot– just an hour later than I thought.

One of the cashiers really made me feel uncomfortable today. Stephanie was rude and talked to herself but not the customers. She was slow and seemed on the verge of snapping. It was one of the weirdest experiences I’ve had in a hardware store in my life. I’m avoiding this store from now on.

DO NOT PURCHASE TOOL WARRANTIES! This company has the biggest racquet since the mob. It is almost impossible to get a repair on a tool because all the employees are intentionally kept in the dark on what the procedure is to allow a customer to use one. I purchased an air compressor with a three-​year warranty and have spent the past three weeks getting bounced around from one person to another. Taking it from one repair shop that would not repair it; to another repair shop that would not repair it. The shops were supposed to be Home Depot approved shops. Don’t purchase any warranties on tools.

This is a review exclusively about home depot KEYS. I came to make a key for my new house because lowes and walmart failed me. Granted the lock is a little messed up at my new place and we were considering changing everything. A couple of people had recommended home depot to me and I was finally able to get a good key! The only other place that has ever worked for me was Ace hardware but that was no where to be found (then again Im not a local so this area is a bit unfamiliar to me). AND the key was cheaper to make than both lowes and walmart. Overall Im a happy customer and would definitely recommend home depot in the future. Cheers to good keys !

Came here to seek for assistance because I can’t find an item. Was being told to look for a guy from the plumbing department. I walked towards him and all he did was give me a grumpy look and blew me off.
Such ‘wonderful’ service.

Never a dull moment at Casa G and lately it’s been a lot to do with plumbing or lawn sprinklers. Today I came in to rent a plumbers snake that I used roughly about a year ago to unclog my kitchen sink, it was my first time using and I made sure to reach deep inside I needed to free up deposits from over the years. Anyway, I spoke with the HD employee at rentals and he suggested that I try a alternate, Zip-​it Tool by Brass Craft. He swore by it and said he has all girls in his home with long hair. I found it in plumbing listed at $ 2.49 plus tax. My total labor at home was under 30 minutes and I do have to admit it was slightly gross reaching roughly two feet and pulling clogs and clogs of hair in shower drain. Bathroom sinks were just as bad with clogs of hair and add toothpaste to the mix, GROSS. This gadget is 100% reliable and works as described. What makes it so effective is that it’s made of heavy plastic with sharp angled teeth offset like every inch plus you have a slot to insert your finger to have the strength to pull. As you insert and penetrate you push pull back and fourth until you bottom out at full depth which is like 2 feet and you begin the process by removing build up (hair). Because it is plastic, I’m sure you can get another use out of it for the next time around. Proudly made in the USA.

Recently went in to purchase synthetic grass for my back yard.
Super helpful and nice service.
Unfortunately very over price once a sales person went to my house to give me a quote.
I wish they would have been more clear on the approximate cost.
Regardless, not pushy and very friendly…

Whats to not like? Need tools? Want a hot dog? This is the spot! Lowes is a little nicer, different selection, but Home Depot always gets the job done!

Stocking up on essentials! Very friendly customer service but we don’t usually find everything in-​stock leaving us to find parts at local dealers like white cap and ferguson. This location is very clean and usually has parking.

I went here mainly for the garden center since I was redoing my front yard and needed flowers and shrubbery. They had an excellent garden center! I had so much to chose from and all of their flowers and shrubs looked so healthy and well taken care of.

I have been coming to this Home Depot for over 10 years. It hasn’t changed too much over the years — there used to be more employees to help you — but that is the norm now, and not too big of a deal since many answers can now be found online.
But the reason I keep coming back here is that staff. They are always knowledgeable in seemingly everything they sell. Ive never encountered an associate that didn’t know all about the products and installation procedures of items in their (and often times other) aisles.
I didn’t find that at Lowes when they opened up a few blocks away, or even at the Home Depot that opened in south Fontana (which is actually closer to me). I always end up coming back to the Rancho Home Depot, because of the experienced staff.

As a former homeowner, and someone who still does a lot of «patio garden» projects, I can definitely recommend this Home Depot. When I moved to my new apartment in Rancho Cucamonga six months ago, I discovered that this HD was only a two minute drive from my house.
Positives: Very friendly, helpful staff even when they’re busy, no crowds if you get there at opening time (it pays to be an early riser), very good stock in all departments, and prices are very reasonable (better than Lowe’s).
Negatives: The only one I can think of is that the garden section could be better stocked, especially with planters, etc. I had to get some of my planters at Lowe’s (even though their prices are higher) because HD never seemed to stock a wide variety of quality pots and planters.
Overall, this is one of the better Home Depots I’ve seen, and probably the best in this area for selection and service.

This is by far one of the best Home Depots. Any time I have had a paint question they have been able to answer it. My husband and I buy all of our plants here and they stay better than anywhere else that we have bought them. When we bought gravel and sand there they were great and loaded it into the truck. Always friendly and helpful.

Compared to the north Fontana and Ontario store, this store has very knowledgeable employees! Not only are they friendly (for the most part) they help you with your whole project! The North fontana is closer to where I live but I prefer to get my shopping done at this store.

Hey Upland Home Depot, what’s up with the 10 PM close time? The store is arranged like every other Home Depot, although parking lot construction make leaving your car a little sketchy feeling. At 9:37, employees were basically standing around with nothing to do. The Return Desk girl was working, and one guy happily helped me cut a three foot length of anchor chain. Everyone else in an orange apron was too rapt in conversation to notice me and my kid.
The check out lady was friendly, and prices are always reasonable. This is not your neighborhood hardware store with cordial, courteous staff, but if you’re intent on the DIY project– including the DIY shopping experience, you’ll love this HD.

I prefer this Home Depot than the one on Central in Upland. The layout is more organized and staff here are excellent!
Every time I need help on a product or service, an employee is willing to take their time to help out a customer.
They also offer workshops to teach you how to do, DIY projects and house repairs.

I have been to many a Home Depot around the US in my day this was my first time in this particular store and it turned out to be the best visit ever.
We need a few different things and I have never encountered such a helpful and knowledgeable sales staff.
We talked to a number of employees and all were willing to help, helpful, and pleasant.
But a 5 star was earned because one of the projects we came in for was to put together a complex 4 part bolt/​washer/​nut combo and we need multiple copies. We showed the gentleman working the hardware department our prototype that was designed many years ago and in less than 5 minutes he was able to locate all 4 independant parts – exact, and he sorted out each part until we had all the pieces to make up multiple copies.
We could never have figured this out on our own and if we did – it would have taken hours and some uncertainly.
He did not just direct us to the area – he took the initiative for making sure that we had everything to complete the project. You could tell that he was extremely experienced in hardware operations and we got lucky bumping into him yesterday.
