Tatum & Trezza Optometry

I always go back. I live in Orange County and I drive here because I like them so much. They also are open one Saturday a month which is wonderful!

The office is very nice and the doctor is great.
But…
I ordered glasses and was told 7 to 10 days. At 2 weeks I called to ask where my glasses were. They said that with the 4 of July holiday they hadn’t gotten around to sending out the order (I ordered almost a week before the 4^th). So now I’ll wait even longer and they didn’t even offer an apology or anything to make the situation right.
The doctor was great but that’s not how the front office should treat people.
Update: took just over 3 weeks to get my glasses. No apology or compensation for the wait.

Debbie was extremely helpful, as always, during my last few visits, and Dr. Trezza is always a delight to shoot the sh*t with :-) It’s totally worth the 30 minute drive from home for this great quality of service!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I’ve been going to these doctors forever! The doctors and their staff is always cheerful and super helpful.

The last time my daughter had an apt, she was 5 minutes late because we got lost. I called the office for directions; and when we arrived we were told that the Dr. had left the office! When we expressed our surprise and disappointment, we were given the attitude that that was our problem, not theirs. While we were speaking to the receptionist, we saw the Dr. walking around in the back room! Obviously we will not be going back. These doctors also need to understand that the office staff can make them or break them, and Debbie has obviously run off many customers, judging from our experience as well as the reviews. Go to Dr. Rothbard. He’s great and his staff is friendly.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Tatum & Trezza for several years now. We LOVE not only the doctors but their support staff… Debbie, Lela, Maricela and Yvonne. These young ladies are the major reason why we keep coming back. Their knowledge, professionalism and customer service are always a 10+. They ALWAYS go above and beyond. Every time we walk through their doors, we are greeted with their beautiful smiles and positive attitudes. We are very happy AND satisfied patients.
As you can see from our rating, we HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone. They will take good care of you.

I have been going to Dr. Terezza for over 10 years. He is awesome! I will not trust any other doctor with my eyes. I always feel comfortable with him and can ask him any question I may have. He has fitted me for contacts and glasses and anytime I have concerns, I can always let him know.
That being said, my only dislike is the redhead lady with the crystal nails and eyelashes at the front desk. She is always very abrupt and not very friendly or welcoming. I actually don’t like dealing with her because she always acts like she is doing me a favor by taking the time to help me at the front desk. I have other family members who see Dr. Terezza and they have all said the same thing about this woman at the front desk. She really needs to work on her customer relations skills.
The other two girls are fine, though. And Dr. Terezza is such an amazing doctor. Despite the cranky lady at the front, I would not go anywhere else!

I am very happy with my first visit to this office. I arrived early and was taken back almost right away, didn’t have to wait long at all. Front desk staff was friendly and helped me right away.
Dr was friendly, funny and informative.
I will be back with my family!

My husband and I have been patients of Drs Tatum & Trezza for over 5 years. They listen to their patients and do not charge them more than what is necessary, unlike other optometry offices. We were patients in their La Verne office and we were sad when we found out the office was sold. After trying the new owner of their old office, we decided that Tatum & Trezza were much more in tuned with customer service. Luckily, they were happy to accept their La Verne patients. Their Rancho Cucamonga office is nicely decorated, the staff are friendly, and they have a wide selection of glasses. It is worth driving the 15 miles.

Dr. Trezza is the best eye doc I’ve ever been to. He’s thorough, professional and doesn’t try to sell you glasses or contacts that you don’t need. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Been coming here since I was little. Love both dr’s and now that I’ve got vision insurance again and just went today and got new sunglasses :-)

I have been recently diagnosed with keratoconus and came across Dr Tatum and Trezza. After sending my medical records from various doctors over, I called to confirm their receipt. Debbie was just too busy to confirm this information and did not offer to confirm at a later time and call me back. During the day prior to the appointment, I had a question regarding whether this doctor can treat my diagnosis or whether I should find an ophthalmologist. Again, she was short and rude. She cut me off and asked if I would like her to cancel my appointment. She practically hung up the phone before I could say yes. Not going here! That’s for sure.

Great doctors. My mom has been with them for 20 years and I have been going to them for 6 years. Never had a problem at their la verne office but the past two times I have gone to Rancho, the receptionists have been horrible. They are inattentive and it’s frustrating because I work in customer service. It’s not that difficult to look up and greet someone when they walk in, and it is really not that hard to look up and tell someone you will be right with them instead of leaving them standing at the desk looking like an idiot for over five minutes.

Been here for 4 years. Both Dr’s are great with kids;-) Fast service when ordering glasses. Lots of selection for kids and adults.
