Sonic Drive-In

If I could rate this lower, I would. They employees are nice and the food tastes good, but the wait is HORRIBLE. I went when it wasn’t busy at all, and waiting 25 minutes or so for JUST tater tots and a shake. It was ridiculous.

First time here. Came all the way from LA. We loved it! Got the boneless wings BBQ and fries with strawberry limeade. The service was great ordered and then they bring it out. Wish they would make a Sonic closer to home.

02/10/16.We eat at different sonics all over the southland and our visit to this location was terrible… I am disabled so I pulled up into the Disabled parking and push the button to order and waited 15 min just for them to hang up… I pushed the button again, waited another 15 min just for them to hang up again, so I thought the order board might be malfunctioning so I moved to another space to try and order again… pushed the button, waited 20 min with no answer so we just left… Thank you for wasting 50 min of my difficult life.

I want to start with a positive in saying that their shakes are really delicious. My favorite that I tend to get at any location is the Oreo Cheesecake. However, having to wait 30 plus minutes in the drive through at the Sonic on 4^th street is pretty ridiculous and their food is very bland. I’ve tried buying here several times, trying to give them more chances to be good but I just can’t bring myself to wait that long especially in the summer when the wait is even longer (an hour or more). I’ll just have to buy my ice cream at other stores/​drive-​thrus or at least different Sonic locations.

Wish I would have seen the reviews 1^st before stopping here. Slowest service ever in the drive through!!!

Do not-​I repeat do not order onion rings unless you like your onion rings to taste like vanilla. What the heck-​yeck
Also it took them three tries to make a hamburger without cheese.

Young kids running the joint. Had a few issues Sonics manager made up for it. Great place to eat. Yums

Not sure what happened, but this bread they’re trying to pass off as Texas toast was just sad. We used to love Sonic’s Texas toast sandwiches and now it was just a regular piece of sandwich bread and tasted horrible. We complained and they tried to say it’s always been like that. Never coming back. Adding photo of this crappy bread.

I put in an order and wanted to split the price between two credit cards (myself and my friend). We got a «Our machine doesn’t do that». WTF? Seriously? OK can we do credit card and then cash? «Sorry we can’t do that as well» really?
I’ve been a cashier for 6 years. One of the most basic functions of a cash register is two split payments!
The icing on the cake was when she handed us 4 drinks, without even offering a a drink holder… SMH. will not be coming back.

Well I thought I’d give them another try but I promise you it will be the LAST! I’ve been sitting here 30 minutes as I’m writing this. The place is packed and the drive through is out into the road, and all I’m waiting on is DRINKS. NEVER AGAIN

A day of shopping decided to try out Sonics. All I got to say I won’t be back. There food had no taste. The French fries were hard and tasted like a day old. I didn’t notice there «B» rating in the window until I left.

Every single time I come here, no matter what time, no matter what day– it’s ALWAYS the longest wait of my life! It SUCKSSSSSS!!!
I know this place is popular n shit, but waiting in the drive thru for 31 minutes, for 2 shakes, (literally I swear) is absolutely ridiculous!!! I coulda had a full dinner at red lobster by the time I made it through this damn drive thru. Smh!
And sometimes the food is a hit or miss. For ex, the fries not being crispy, rather soggy and Lukewarm. Or the tots being lukewarm– like the foods been waiting around which I don’t understand why, considering everyone is waiting around for decades!!! Wtf?
If you’re on a time crunch, avoid this place no matter how bad you want to eat here because you’ll be waiting a long ass time, and you’re not even guaranteed hot, fresh, good food.

First of all, I’m annoyed that the carhops WALK my food out. Isn’t the roller skates half the fun? Maybe it’s a workers comp issue waiting to happen, but I digress.
The food is mediocre. Come here for the shakes and slushies.
The problem is that I am never waiting for my food for anything less than 20 minutes. Drive through or in the carhop area. Its just plain ridiculous. I showed up at 615 hoping to get a drink before my movie started at 7 across the street. We didn’t get to the front of the line before 640. And then? They screwed up the order.
But. Cherry limeaid slush, FTW.

Well I love tater tots as much as the next guy… and the shakes are delicious. But 54 minutes trapped in the drive-​thru at 11 p.m. is NEVER worth it. Didn’t even offer an apology or discount or any kind of service recovery for the inconvenience of the long wait. Poor service, great tots!
