Best Service Ever, as soon as I walked in I felt welcomed and knew I was at the right place. They went the extra mile and it showed, my car passed with no problem and they informed me that my car will be due for a tune up soon. So glad I went to Smog Stop

Took my car in last Thursday to get smog checked. The service tech was polite, efficient and had me out and back on the road in no time. Plus saved about $ 40 with coupon.

Fast & friendly service! Waiting area was clean. And not to mention, services were affordable. I called beforehand and he applied a discount and made a note for when I came in, to make sure it would be honored! Bonus: «I Love Lucy!» was on the tv.

Quick service. A little problem with their coupon special. Make sure you print out their Unilocal coupon, electronic coupon won’t be honored. The guy worked something out.

I went here a couple months ago to get both my cars tested. They were very courteous and are lowered car friendly. It was very quick and easy. I would recommend these guys.
Also check the local paper for coupons, it may also be good to make an appointment if you are coming in during the weekend, they get pretty busy when I was there.

The only plus side that I like in this place is that they do the smog quick, about 15 min. The guy Samuel doesn’t look very personable. He looks scary even when he talks. Doesn’t make you feel comfortable. I went in with a coupon for $ 25! Yay! As we know smog cost around $ 39. So at the end I gave him the coupon, he took the discount off but then he told me, their regular smog check cost is $ 51! So minus the discount and tax, guess what it totalled back to $ 40! Lol, that discount is a joke! Maybe even their price too. I’d look somewhere else.

Just left this place. FANTASTIC experience… was in and out in less than 20 minutes and got a discount :) the staff was very very friendly. Highly recommend!!!

In a business were u have to give customers bad news when they dont pass smog test the staff was very polite and friendly. Also very informative about what needs to be done with dmv for entire smog process. I take all my vehicles there for smog testing never had issues with company. My vehicle did not pass last time and i was worried. The helpful staff made process painless told me what to fix to pass. Great experience. Not the greatest looken building but prime example of not to judge a book by its cover.

Very honest and went out of his way to help me when a problem was spotted! This is a very good place, I highly recommend it! I am grateful for the owner finding the problem so I could get it fixed and now my car runs so much better!!!

Most every smog shop only retest for free if you have repairs done there. I looked at more than a dozen and they all say the same thing! These people are honest and if they wanted to they could have taken advantage of this older car I just purchased and knew little about. The owner explained to me how once the computer is hooked up to the car data is transmitted to State and the parameters are set by them. Half way thru the test I asked is it kicked out yet? He explained the data keeps transmitting until complete so they have no way to alter the test and do not know results until complete. It took 20 minutes and I was done. He even took competitors coupon and I will always use them!

CUSTOMERS BEWARE OF THIS SHOP. BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL… WE BELIEVE THAT THIS SMOG STOP IS FAILING CARS BY USING FRAUDULENT TAMPERING TECHNIQUES! These are dishonest people. Trust me the good reviews that they get are possibly paid for or friends and family writing them… Not real customers! I am a business owner, and my time is valuable, and I would not take the time to post this unless I was 100% sure that they basically stole money from my mother. Who by the way, is on a fixed income, like so many other senior citizens out there are. They TAMPERED with her car to make her engine light come on, and then FAILED her car. Note: her engine light has never been on, and it was not on when she took the car in, but was on when she left. When she asked then «Hey what did you do to my car, now my engine light is on?» They told her that it was on when she came in. When we called the shop to confront them, a man named «Thain» or something like that, was firm in telling me that «They do not give refunds, but she can come back and he will give her a discount on the re-​test, or and I quote «If you have an issue, you can take it up with the Bureau of Automotive Repairs. Do not take you car here… EVER!

Place was recommended by several friends and must say that I got done what needed to be done! Car passed smog and was out of there quicker then most smog shops in the Area. Great employees. GREAT WORK!

We have taken our cars here over the years and no complaints. Fast, professional and courteous service.

I went in and dropped off my car to be smogged. They called several hours later saying it had failed. I returned and told them that there was some sort of mistake, there was nothing wrong with my car. Every other time I’ve had it smogged the technicians have been amazed at what good numbers it runs. Two years ago when I had it smogged the technician told me he rarely saw numbers that good off of new cars, so I knew my car had not deteriorated that much so that it would fail two years later. I immediately took it to another smog test station and told the technician that Smog Stop had just failed the car. He crawled all over it, spent around 30 minutes, retesting and really looking for something wrong with it. In the end he said he had no idea why they failed it because it passed perfectly fine and he could not find one thing wrong with it. I think Smog Stop was just out to try to make more money off of me since they don’t offer free retesting like most smog places do. I would avoid this place at all costs and have filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Consumer Affairs.

Waited an hour and a half to get a smog check. 2 people in front of me. If you fail you have to pay twice. I should have gone next door.
