Soooo good. Pricing is good too. What a gem. Got the pizza and empanadas. Can’t believe this place has been here for almost two years and I live 5 min away. Will be a regular for sure.

It pains me to know such amazing treats exist right in my own backyard and I hadn’t discovered them sooner! Though I have only been once, my one experience made me a believer in Guido’s and ensured me as a long time customer. Firstly, the atmosphere is unique even though free space is hard to come by. I can’t say I have personally ever experienced an Italian/Argentinian fusion styled deli, so it was quite interesting to see a cooler full of fresh Italian meats and cheeses next to a shelf full of imported Argentine goods and a South American soccer game playing in the background. An odd combination, but it adds to the allure that is Guido’s. I admitted to the woman who helped me that I was a bit undecided on which sandwich I should get, and she proceeded to explain each and every item to me. You can’t get service like that just anywhere, and I truly appreciated it. I decided on the Guido’s signature sandwich, and I wasn’t disappointed in any way! Sure, just an Italian sandwich layered in cheese and meat, nothing difficult to make… But you would be surprised just how many Italian restaurants can’t even manage to make a good sandwich. The experience was a great one, and definitely solidified me as a customer who will return as soon as possible! Make sure to stop by Guido’s as you will not be let down

The new owners continue to serve only the highest quality meats and cheeses. The Italian Sausages are made fresh daily. These are the only ingredients I will use when I make my home made lasagna for family or friends. Guy will be missed as he enjoys his retirement, but the new people are just as warm and friendly.

Ordered in for a pickup and I had their Margarita pizza(small) and their Fugazzeta. Service was excellent and the food was awesome. Shared it with my coworkers, who agreed. Will be visiting them again, for sure.

My friends and I came for the first time and Alex, the owner, took great care of us! He was so welcoming and recommended the best food for first timers. The prices are reasonable and the food is GREAT. The owner explained to us how he’s Italian but grew up in Argentina so he’s very familiar with both cultures and speaks both languages! I had a beef empanada which was AMAZING and a personal margarita pizza which was TODIEFOR! Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It was freshly made and tasted heavenly. I will be sure to come back and try more of the menu.

Home style Argentinian food made authentically by sweet engaging people! What a heart warming experience! I accidentally stumbled on this place but will be intentionally coming here for lunch in the future. My coworkers are going to be so pumped when I take them here Btw the Argento is amazing on its own. However, if you add their pesto into the mix, it is exquisite!

This place is a diamond in the ruff. The perfect pizza is here I know there are alot of designer pizza out there but sometimes I like to get the classic pepperoni and it is perfect the crust is the best and you can tell they use great quality ingredients. Today for lunch I decided to try the Empanadas damn first time had the beef and chicken 3 for $ 6 bucks and the owner gave me some chimicurri to go with it these where off the chain. I could eat a dozen myself they are pillow of goodness. The beef and chicken is great filled with meat and flavor. While I was there it was busy perfect neighborhood spot owner very welcoming speaks with everyone cool guy. I will be trying to go back for dinner to pick up a pie.

DAAAAAAMNSON! This place was exactly what we were looking for. The prosciutto, egg and cheese sandwich was delicious. Salty proscuitto agaonst a creamy egg and mayo spread. My gf had the roast beef sandwich with the chimichurri spread. She liked hers better than mine. I care to disagree on that. We also had beef and spinach empanadas. I feel the beef empanadas were better just based on the spices alone. They also have a fridge full of smoked gouda, morcilla, peppers, etc. I’m going to go back and order some stuff to make my own meat and cheese board for guests… or me. The gentleman who greeted us(I think he may be the owner) was very welcoming. He asked what brought us there and gave us suggestions based on what we Unilocaled to find the place. Afterwards, asked us if everything tasted good. It tasted great. The place is tiny, but those are my favorite places to seek out and eat at. Go try it, you’ll love it.

Was craving pizza but didn’t want the same ol’pizza place. Good ol’ Unilocal saved the night. Found this place thought I would give it a try. I saw that they closed at 8, it was 730, the mam who answered the phone was so friendly and didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience. He greeted me when I walked in to pick up. The place smells amazing, everyone who worked there(that I saw) was super friendly, smiles and all. Now the pizza. We ordered the Veggie pizza and Margherita pizza. AMAZING! You can taste the freshness in the ingredients. The crust is to die for. Hands down best pizza place, even if they only take take-out orders; no delivery. Still 5 stars for the food and the great people who own it! Thank you!

I’ve really been mad at myself for living so close to guidos and never stopping in. Guidos has some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. One of rancho’s hidden gems is right here!

When folks say this place is small, they are not kidding. There is exactly enough space for two tables inside with 4 stools. And the room temperature is very warm(this on a warm August day). It is safe to say that most customers prefer to pick up their food and eat elsewhere. Pity the employees. There is a large meat and cheese case that takes up most of the room(fyi– they make their own sausages), some shelves of imported goods and freshly baked bread and pastries, and a small refrigerator full of bottles and canned drinks. Yes they do pizzas and a short list of other typical Italian dishes. But if you wish to be adventurous, try their Fugazzetta, an Argentine stuffed, deep dish pizza with a lovely crisp crust. It is topped only with onions, oregano and mozzarella and is buttery good. There is no doubt, there is plenty of cheese. Their other Argentine offerings include empanadas. We only sampled the beef empanadas, a picadillo filling with green olive. I loved the filling, but have had better crust. It was good, not great. They also had a special lasagna dinner that came with garlic bread and a choice of canned soda. The lasagna came home for another meal and was enough for us both to share. It was quite good, and had a surprising ingredient(at least in my half), thinly sliced ham as well as cheese, spinach and meat filling. May I suggest you try the Italian juices with the San Pellegrino label. They had only grapefruit flavor the day we came, but the young man who assisted us said their pomegranate flavor was extraordinary. We loved the grapefruit. For the lasagna special, our Italian soda was a 40 cent upgrade, and well worth it. The owner, Alex, is quite friendly and made us feel at home. While we sat and watched a stream of people come and leave with their booty, the food actually did not take too long to prepare. I would definitely recommend trying this place for its out-of-the-ordinary cuisine. I would also encourage you to make plans for another place to sit and eat it, maybe a park or at home.

New owners Marisa and Alex have done a great job running the deli after Mr. Guido retired. Marisa is Argentinian. Other than pizza, sandwiches, ravioli, lasagna… you’ll see Argentinian Empanadas, Classic Argentinian Desserts, and Argentine pastries on their menu. They are located in the same place as Nancy May’s 50s Café on the southeast corner of Archibald Ave and Arrow Route. Just look for the«Pizza» sign. My husband and I stopped in over the weekend and ordered from the Lunch Special menu. We each got a Turkey sandwich for $ 5.00 and it came with a side of potato or macaroni salad and a drink! I had to get a Blood Orange Sanpellegrino(my favorite Italian soda). Note the specials also apply on the weekends! On display by the window, were these pastries, so we got 4 of those. Alex is one of the nicest guys and very friendly. We took our lunch to the park to eat it since there was only one table inside. Wow, the bread was so good and all the ingredients were fresh. When you have a place like this… why do we even need to step foot in a Subway or Jersey Mike’s ever again!?! My husband is already asking me when we are going to come again LOL. Yum… Check out @Rancho_Cucamonga_Eats on Instagram. ;) 124⁄100 Reviews for 2015

I absolutely love the sandwiches here. Freshest quality ingredients and very reasonable prices. A better value than other local delis. I’ve tried a few other items here like the empenadas and pizza which I enjoyed greatly. I like to get a variety of meat and cheese to make my own fresh sandwiches through the week or just to enjoy as a meat and cheese tray with company or family. Other meat like the sausages which they offer in different levels of spicey have been a big hit at some bbq gatherings. The family that own and operate this place are so genuine and friendly. I encourage you to give this place a try.

Even though Guido sold the business, the new owners Alex and Marisa are great! They are both extremely friendly and welcoming, and I intend on continuing my patronage. I like that they are not only keeping the original sandwiches, but they have expanded the menu to include pizza and empanadas. Best of all, they are extending their hours during the week, so that I can grab some food for dinner. With the addition of a credit card machine, my cash on hand no longer determines how much I can spend, which is both good and bad. LOL.
