History
Established in 1970.
Company History
El Ranchero was started in 1970 in East Los Angeles by Dona Maria Elena. Our first location was Third St and Ditman. The restaurant was an instant success from day one. To be successful in the heart of East Los Angeles, where true authentic Mexican food is judged by the toughest Mexican food critics, was an instant statement. This was truely homemade mexican food.
The company has passed on to the next generation. We continue to use all of mom’s original recipes and we have added a few of our own. We make all of our salsas fresh daily.
We take great pride in our family run business, we value our employees and the community that contributes to our success. We honor our Hispanics traditions and we are committed to maintaining the quality of our food and service for our customers for generations to come.
