History

Established in 2010.

I used to be a first grade teacher. Though I loved my students, the stress of that job did me in. I had a baby in 2008 and was able to stop working and stay home with her! I tried to create the beautiful photos I saw online of babies and children with my own, but my point and shoot just wasn’t cutting it. In 2010 I had my baby’s photos taken from a sweet girl of Boys’n’Berries Photography. I watched her with excitement thinking, «I could do this! I would LOVE this job!» Once I convinced my husband that THIS was what I really wanted to do, he agreed to move forward with the purchase of my first DSLR. My excitement for learning was at it’s brim. I couldn’t get enough! You know you will love a job when you can’t stop thinking about it. That was me, and that is STILL me. I continue to learn and grow in my business and enjoy it immensely!

I often tell my clients how beautiful they are. And I’m not lying when I say it! I believe there is beauty in everyone and everything!

The beauty my husband finds in me is my love and concern for others.

The beauty my sister finds in me is my ability to listen and sympathize.

The beauty my best friend finds in me is that I am joyful and always smiling.

I love getting to know my clients and finding the beauty in them! Capturing that beauty is what I do! It’s a driving force for the work I do. I wouldn’t trade this job for any other. In fact I gave up being an elementary teacher to photograph people – to photograph love, beauty, happiness and laughter… And I haven’t regretted it since the day I made that decision.
