I said yes to the dress!!! The day I found my dress I started at Davids Bridal and omg what a zoo. On top of that I felt like I tried the same dress on 5 times. It was not how I imagined my first time trying on dresses and I was just so over it I was ready to go home. My sister and bff decided to take me to Alfred Angelo and thank the heavens they did. I was generously taken care of by Miss Kailee who was just the absolute sweetest most amazing young lady I have ever met! She was patient, attentive, respectful, and caring. We tried on a few dresses and each one felt so amazing on me and so different each time. The third and final dress i tried on was hand selectrd by Kailee and manager Leilani. I didn’t even look at the dress but Kailee strapped me into it and made me feel incredible. I walked out to my little area and looked in the mirror and knew that I had found my dress!!! Thank you ladies for helping me knock one off my wedding list and for making this experience feel just like the movies :)

Would like to thank our stylist Melissa for the awesome experience and the laughs we had not only did we find my nieces her wedding dress but we also found our bridesmaids dresses… She gave us all the attention we needed and was very kind and knew what she was doing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of a dress. Thank you once again!

Thank you so very much to MaKailey! I had a very unhappy incident with my dress (my own fault) and MaKailey came to the rescue. She was very friendly, positive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, extremely helpful and made a awesome suggestion that is going to work out just perfect with the fitting of my dress. Marissa was fantastic! She spent hours with us and really made sure we were comfortable with our decision prior to our purchase. She was very knowledgeable and had many great suggestions for us to try.

Let me start with, I’ve done many, MANY dress fittings, searching for the perfect dress, etc. Not only have many of my own friends and family been married BUT, I also do this for a living (I’m project manager for a small business in the wedding industry).
I have been searching for a red dress so that my darling friend, Amanda, could try it on. It was her dream from the age of 16 to wear red on her wedding day, and this AA Location was my last resort. Come to find out, MaKailey has been wanting someone to try on the specific red dress (style 250) for quite some time! It was everything we thought it would be and more! That dress was to die for!
Our appointment was great! MaKailey is amazing and the most adorable thing ever! We had so much fun with her, and she was super helpful! She walked Amanda (all of us in tow, of course!) around the store, rack to rack, listening to things Amanda liked/​disliked. I have never been to a chain bridal shop and been treated so greatly! The price range is great too, for all sorts of brides!
This is where things get interesting… Amanda tried on the red dress and loved it but… dress #3 was the winner! (She tried on at least 7 dresses other than the red). She had the biggest smile, all of us girls cried like babies (even the MOH who we face-​timed pretty much the entire duration of our time there), and MaKailey fit in with us so naturally!
For future reference, I will be back, either for myself or one of my other brides! Thank you so much!!!

Very disappointing!
Our lady that was «supposed» to be helping had lack of knowledge about the dresses and price. This bridal shop was a huge waste of our party of 7 gals waste of time. When a huge group shows up we should feel welcomed and greeted with great appreciation for our business. We took our money elsewhere and was overly appreciated by our party.

My stylist was Melissa, and she is so incredible! She’s just a really sweet person and she was genuinely excited about helping me find the right wedding gown. Which was crucial because when I went to a different bridal chain down the street in October, I felt like the stylist was overly busy and was just trying to get me to like/​buy whatever dress I was trying on at the time. That experience made me feel pretty anxious and unhappy with the whole gown-​selection process, and might’ve contributed to my procrastination. In October, the stylist at David’s also told me that my May wedding was too soon and I’d better get a dress right then (on my very FIRST dress-​shopping outing) or I might not have a dress at all! Talk about discouraging! Especially since I didn’t really like any of the dresses! Note**when I went with my bridesmaids on 1÷16÷16, the bridesmaids stylist (didn’t catch her name :/​) was wonderful and helped my girls find their perfect dresses. But the checking out process took too long (one of bridesmaids threatened homicide) and my bridal appointment had to be pushed to late afternoon… but I found my wedding gown at Alfred Angelo before that so I was unwilling to return to the zoo there.
Two close friends had also bought their dresses from Alfred Angelo and recommended them to me – one of them is one of my bridesmaids and I have to thank her for bodily dragging me to the store because she was getting nervous that I was running out of time. Melissa was amazing on both of my visits. When I told her how soon my wedding date was, she took a deep breath and put on a BIG smile and told me that we were going to get me a dress, on time, and she was going to make sure that I look gorgeous. AND she delivered! She was patient and smiling and encouraging (but not pushy!) with all my Eeyore-​ness through all the dresses I didn’t like, and she was sooooo happy for me when I found The One! When you know, you know, like my married friends have told me. :) Melissa is a genuine sweetheart, she’s so knowledgeable about the inventory, she listens carefully to what the bride does and doesn’t want in a dress, and she has the most amazing attitude through it all. Speaking personally, if I had to deal with a bunch of brides and bridesmaids all day long, I could never muster the kindness and positivity that she does. AND! After I signed the contract and put down my deposit, they called me back to inform me that they hadn’t applied all the discounts and took another $ 137.50 off my price!

When I was first brought to Alfred Angelo the first time, I was sure I wouldn’t find anything that I would like. But I was also laboring under the crushing sibling guilt that my younger, married, sister put on me because she was quite angry with me for a) getting engaged too close to when she did the year prior and b) my wedding was scheduled just 5 days too close to her 30^th birthday. As sisterly instincts go, even though I knew I was in the right, I was in some kind of mourning that I didn’t deserve to have my wedding. Silly, I know. But that’s me. Super sensitive. But only to those I love.
Long story short, after trying on just a few (hundred) dresses, I was encouraged by my consultant, Margarita (remember that name!!), to try on one of the dresses I had discarded pretty quickly as «meh. Has potential, but no».
Well, trying it on again, and asking to add a «sleeve» (an accessory that fits like a glove around your shoulders)… Well, while I was not going to let myself be happy about it, I was flabbergasted at how dramatically the dress transformed on my body.
Not only was this THE dress, but all the accessories just made the whole thing perfection. My friend (and personal bridal cheerleader) Leah in conjunction with Margarita’s patience and kindness are what made the experience though.
Returning to pick up my dress today, I quickly agreed to try it on before bringing it back to Los Angeles for alterations (I LOVE this location and will actually honestly miss Margarita, but Rancho is just too far for me now that my personal cheerleader has moved and I haven’t got a place to stop and stay for a bit after my fittings). The dress is stunning. While my custom alterations aren’t quite ready, I think the dress and margarita’s calm and kind attitude made me realize instantly this time, this is the dress. It’s as if it was made for me and only me.

I really have so much to be thankful for this year, but I didn’t realize until today, trying on my custom gown with Margarita that I truly appreciated this experience and (let’s get down to it), how Margarita handled one very sad and picky bride with a poor attitude the first two visits.
She even hugged me on my way out, dress in hand, and I thought to myself: now THAT is a consultant. She knew what I wanted before i did and was patient enough to see me through many dresses and a near meltdown (not about the dress, but my guilt).
I cannot thank her enough. Every time I think of my wedding dress I’ll see her smiling face and remember she made this special for me.
And be sure, none of my friends are getting married without meeting with Margarita first!
