Ace Screen & Glass

Not reliable and consistent to do business with. Poor communication skills and customer service. Not trustworthy to get my referral. Wouldn’t put one star but 1 star to show that they are not worth doing business with.

Ace is the place for sure. a small local company that has fixed a few screens for me in the last few months. helpful, kind and attentive. we needed 2 new screens and they had them ready the next day. thanks Ace!

2^nd time I have used them since the new owner has taken over. My first experience was replacing a window, the service was less than good. My window was replaced upside down and in the process my daughters bed was broken. I was informed the guy that had performed the work had been let go so I tried again. This time I feel the turn around time was really slow, the replacement screen door was replaced very nicely, but hey guys, clean up after yourselves! Metal shavings and screws left on my porch. Feeling grumbly!

They re-​did our screens all over the house and they were super fast and very reasonably priced. Nice mom and pop shop, gotta love small businesses.
Super friendly with great staff, friendly owners. They bend over backwards for you to make sure you’re happy. Great variety of things to get fixed here.

A window was cracked during a roofing service. We called Ace being that they were local. They wanted to charge $ 150 to replace the glass, this was a little high but bearable. The kicker was that they wanted to charge $ 100 more to to unscrew 6 screws from inside the bathroom window to remove a security bar! With a drill this security bar is out in one minute. I could see maybe an additional $ 10 but $ 100! Come on Ace…

Fabulous service! They communicated well, were accurate in both measurement and great prices. And they were very accommodating on scheduling the install of all our new screens. Highly recommend! Love the quality of the screens and best screen doors.

This company is of no help, order glass 2 weeks ago and it got shipped to some other place. Not my fault, and they are unwilling to do anything to get my glass door installed. Arrangements were made to be home for this installation and now they are telling me that they cant go get the glass from 20 miles away to get this installed. Instead we now have to take another day off work to have it installed.
Update: the owner was able to get the door sooner than next Monday and install but we still have to take another day off work to get this done. Revising review from 1 star to 3

Went in to get a new screen because it was close to my house. Very nice and I got my screen the same day. I would recommend them to my friends and family. They are under new management and its great!

Had to get some screens replaced before the heat kicked in. Dropped my screens off in the morning and picked them up that evening. Lady in the shop was very sweet and informed me the place was under new management. I’ll definitely be spreading the word to friends and family.

EVERYONE AT THIS COMPANY IS RUDE. THEY USE POOR LANGUAGE AND SPEAK HIGHLY OF THEM SELVES AND DO NOT DELIVER.
We ordered a $ 500 screen from them with a extra large Dod door, it is already broken! We ordered 2 additional screen at the time we purchased the screen door and they were suppose to be back that same week and install them. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. NEVER CALLED. 2 months later they called saying WE need to pick up the screens. When they were suppose to come months ago to install. My husband told them we would if we had time at that point. We moved from the home in September 2013 and never were able to get the screens because of there lack of service to come an install. We are now in FEBRUARY 2014 and we receive a call from a lady saying we need to pick up the screens. This is 6 months later. Mind you. they were suppose to come install them in the first place. My husband advised her that we had moved and while on the phone with them one of the men who works there was in the background yelling saying curse words because we said we moved! and then the lady hung up on my husband.
I am a business ownerand I know that if I tell a customer we will do something then we WILL. we are very unhappy with the way they treated us. AND the language they used is very bad and should not be something any business owner would do. I think its so funny how they have 1 5 star review and all the rest are bad. CHECK THERE FILTERED REVIEWS and you will see the rest. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Spoke to Justin for a quote on a broken window. The amt was very reasonable and i told him yes I wanted it done. He said he had to wait until his parents got home. Which would be shortly. He then asked directions because he lives in San Diego. He told me if I brought the window to him it would be cheaper, I declined. He then offered to meet me at the place where the window needed replacing, take out the window for me and I would drive it back to the shop for a reduced price as he was driving a motorcycle. I agreed and we were to meet in a few minutes. I waited an hour and called him. He said his parents were just around the corner and he would be leaving as soon as they got there. I waited another half hour and left. I never did hear back from him and found a nice company that repaired my window and a china cabinet glass that broke in my move. This ace company has NO INTEGRITY

Extremely unprofessional service is all I can say.
Ordered a custom cut glass to put as a desk top. Paid in full and paid for delivery which was about $ 500. Bill and Annie Dusseldorf came to deliver the glass. They came in to look inside and ask where it will be placed which was basically left after the front door in the office. As Bill came in to the house to bring the glass, he almost fell because he failed to see the step down into the hallway. This is where it went downhill. He got extremely mad because he almost fell!!! As he continued to bring it in, he hit the walls and a flat screen TV. He wouldn’t even put it on the desk! He cussed us out, and when asked for a business card, he threw it at my wife’s face. Annie called the police. Three patrol cars came and an ambulance. Annie threaten to sue us and take our house away. The sheriff told us that the guy seemed disgruntled and angry over nothing really. Bill didn’t even leave with the ambulance also.
I wish we could have complained to their boss, but they are the owners. What kind of business are the running? The place is a joke and the glass was not even cut right!!! It doesn’t even fit the top of the desk properly.
DO NOT GO HERE! I WARNED YOU!

This place is awesome! They’re a local screen & door company that has been located in Rancho for as long as I can remember. It’s nice to find something that’s still Mom & Pop run that is doing well in this economy.
Service was straightforward and reliable. They did an excellent job with a quick turn around and friendly service. I was offered several different varieties of screen doors and opted for a higher quality frame and screen. The price was right and I never felt any pressure to «upgrade». Way better service and variety than purchasing from a big box store.
Well done Ace!
I will return in the future.
