3D Wonderland

My daughter (11) made an apt here because it’s close to our house at 430pm. We arrived early. We thought we would be there about an hour as we had somewhere to be. She wanted a gel manicure that she was paying for. She was told it was $ 18. The owner Sandy, saw my daughter and said that she would do mani/​pedi for $ 20. So, my daughter said ok. She sat in a chair and a girl started working on her feet. She was very nice. Another girl came in with water for her hands. The owner came in and told the girl doing my daughters feet to stop and move to another guest. The girl on hands was to finish everything. Once the cleaning of her feet was finished, she moved to her hands. She was going to start polish and I asked her if she knew what she wanted. She responded with «no english». I was surprised. How was she finish the job if she couldn’t speak english. A guy came in and I expalined what she wanted and he tried to tell her but it didn’t seem that even he coul communicate to her. He told me they had no black gel polish but that a purplish one was the closest they had. I said, really? He said yes. I asked my daughter who at this point had been sitting there patiently for over an hour. She said, I guess that’s fine. She wanted pink with black tips. The girl did not know how to work the gel lamp. She messed up my daughters nails several times and had to start over. She messed up the thumb at least 5 times. The tip part looked horrible. My daughter was obviously upset and she was ready to be done after 2 hours. She hadn’t even started painting her toes yet. Which she informed us… oh, you wanted gel (which is what we said over the phone and when we got there), it will be $ 13 more. Several times throughout our time there, people kept walking in and taking lotion, gloves, brushes, acetone, etc… there was stuff all over the shelves, it didn’t seem cleaned or organized. It was like no one had their own stuff and they were all using the same but there were several people using the same stuff at the same time… not impressed. My daughter went to wash her hands so we could leave and the guy asked me if everything was ok and I told him no, not really. He seemed puzzled (seriously?). I told him that we are now going to be late becasue of how long this took and her nails look horrible and I wasn’t happy. He wanted me to talk to Sandy, so I told her that we weren’t happy and this took waaayyy too long. She told me well gel takes long. I told her that we had gotten gel many times and it NEVER had taken this long and I was not happy with paying $ 40 now (only $ 23 my daughter had, so I had to pay the rest) when her nails looked the way they did. She said she would put crystals on them and I told her no, I don’t have time, this has already taken way too long. I really would have not liked to pay at all and figured they owed my daughter that much but we were already running over a half an hour late and I didn’t have time to argue with her. She had me only pay $ 30 which I thought was the least she could do. I didn’t leave a tip either. I was so upset and my daughter was crying becasue of the money she paid and how her nails looked. We definitley didn’t get what we paid for. On another note, I’m a lic. esthetician and I find it hard to believe that most of these people (especially the one that didn’t speak english) are lic. in this shop. I know that you have to pass a State Board exam and practical to become lic. and how is that possible when you can’t even speak English. Also, I never saw any lic. displayed which is the law. This business should have State Board contacted and looked into. It is not legal nor safe to be having girls work on customers that are not lic., don’t know what they are doing, not speak English to communicate, etc… We will never be back to this salon and I hope that this review helps other decided whether this is the kind of business and service they are willing to pay for so that this doesn’t happen to others as well.

I am visiting from Washington, DC. I saw Sandy today and she did a wonderful job on my nails! I will definitely come back on my next visit!

Got my lashes done from this place late at night last minute and they were the only ones open with a reasonable price. The lady who did them was fast and very nice. I really like the set up, its pretty cool compared to the average LA nail shop. My eyelash extensions lasted about two weeks and would have probably lasted longer but I was determined to get them off. I got so many compliments on my lashes that I actually started to get them done every 3 weeks. I love the way they make me look and I would recommend this place. I also had them shape my eyebrows and they did a wonderful job on those too. The lashes were great I just don’t like the feel of the cluster lashes, they are heavy and a bit irritating but that’s not the technicians fault. If I lived closer I would definitely make this my go to spot.

I feel so bad giving this review but this was honestly the worst mani pedi I have ever received. When I walked in I should have just left by the way the inside appeared. I got a mani and pedi to this location as a gift, otherwise I would have left. However, now I wish I did bc there multiple times while I was there I wanted to just have them stop and leave. Because right now I’m nervous I’m going to get some fungus on my hand and or feet :/​. The «kitchen» area where they have all their bowls and trays for manicures looked completed broken down and disgusting. There where different types of pedicure chairs some of which were leaking. They also did not clean the tubs after pedicures where done (moment where I should have left) gross!!! The salon is just over all a hot mess. It’s dirty and in maintained.
As far as the actual manicure and pedicure it was not good at all. In all honesty I could have done a better job. While the two women were working on my hands and feet I questioned if they were even licensed. I got cut multiple times and were using techniques that did not seem correct at all. The actual polish that they use is not good quality either and you can tell the way it looks once applied. After my nails were done my cuticles were awful and nails looked worse than if I had just done them myself. If I had to pay for it I would have been angry… I’m angry at myself for even staying.
Did I mention that the cuticle cutter they used was taken out of a «sanitized» bag but there was rust all over it. It looked disgusting and I wish I saw that before they started rather than after. Like I said before I hope I don’t get some type of fungus. Also when they put the «clean» towel on my lap it was not so clean… it had someone’s hair on it and lint. It was clear the towel was not a clean towel.
I was excited to get my nails done and it was a just a huge nightmare!

I went on a Saturday morning waited till they opened a friend n myself went in for two pedicures n fill they said pick a color so my friend asked how much it would be to get one of their designs they have on display. well one if the ladies was super rude she said u can’t get design u have to get full set. I then asked her again why do I need a full set in order to get a design she continued to say no design only with full set. I walked out of that place so fast I was done with the rudeness and attitude. If u didn’t want to go to work u could of stayed home. As I walked to my car I had one of the older ladies chasing me asking me what happened I explained to her staff was beyond rude everything we wanted done couldn’t be done. I would not recommend this place or go back !

got my nails done and walked out with little cuts everywhere on my fingers. i get you try to up-​sell everything, but how many times do I have to say I don’t want a design and you should never say to your customer that their nails will be boring. some people just want french tip sorry. and my french tip wasn’t even so the lady put a gold line between the white and pink to cover up the mess up.
friend got individual eyelashes, wanted a full look and longer than her real eyelashes. I was trying to comfort her but they were bad really bad. Very short, missing in areas, and the girl glued most of the eyelashes together making them looked unevenly clumped. My friend was crying about how horrible they looked and the owner said ‘don’t cry she’s new’. then why hire someone if they don’t know how to apply false eyelashes? my friends eyelashes fell out the next day
a customer next me was complaining about the poor quality of her nails and was charged way more than what she was originally told.

Love this place! Every time I come in everyone’s friendly, nice, great prices etc. Today Sandy did my mani and Ly did my pedi. Looks fabulous

Place sucks! Bootleg business. They had puppies running around, unsanitary, nail techs inexperienced my nails had polish all around it, I always get French tip, the guy who did my nails seemed as if he never did French tips in his life! Came here for the groupon special and it was near my house! I should’ve just stuck to my gut and gone elsewhere! I suggest you do the same.

I’m not sure if the Unilocal times are correct but when I went 3DW didn’t open until 10am.
It’s a little late in my opinion just because I feel like people who go in the morning are going early because they have things to do. It’s a cute little house looking place on the corner of foothill and Vineyard.
I was recommended by a friend to come to 3DW. Since I was one of the firsts one there I was taken right away. I waited a few minutes for Sandy to set up. They had a wide selection of nail polishes to choose from. I really do wish they would have them more color coordinated to make it easier to find the color you’re looking for.
I went in for a Gel Mani. Mani itself was very fast. I chose a nude color and a custom design. I really liked how my nails came out. Usually a gel mani is $ 20 where I normally go. It was the same here and with the design it came out to $ 30, which i thought was very good.
The only reason why I didn’t give a 5 star is because 3 of my crystals came off the day after. It’s kind of annoying and I really wish the crystals lasted longer (obviously).
Great place and great prices!

I’m so sad to say that my forth time coming here my nails got massacred by the older Asian lady. She cut me 7x and my nails are crooked and shaped weird. The guys that did so well doing my nails before were all gone. I end up going to a different nail salon instead.

I came here on Thursday morning and it wasn’t busy. They did an excellent job. Gel and pedicure scrub with design only $ 45. Thank you ladies.

First off this is not 3D nails its 3D Wonderland!!! BIG DIFFRENCE this place is amazing Sandy is great she’s the owner not married or having a affair for the record!!! Lee is great for a fill n Tom is amazing for the pedicure… the designs r BOMB… must try thm… Corinne

This was my second time at this salon. Let’s just say I made the mistake of going back. I’ll start with the only good… Our nails turned out cute. They are good at designs and copying pictures when you show them ideas.
Now for the bad… I don’t even know where to begin!
First, we made an appointment for 10 (which by the way, they open at 10). We got there at 9:55 and no one was there. Finally around 10:25 they show up and open the salon. We were in a hurry so this was a huge inconvenience and incredibly unprofessional.
The salon has such potential! It’s located in an old house which could be super cute but it is far from it. The stations are very unorganized and everything is a big clutter. If they put time and effort into their salon, it could be great. None of their tools were sterile and it was all a big mess at their stations. I’m very surprised the health department hasn’t shut them down. I worked at a nail salon before so I know how things are suppose to be and this salon is far from it.
Sandy did my nails and yes, she is great at doing designs but she is also incredibly rude. I asked her for a blood red polish and she put on a more pink/​purply red. When I told her that it wasn’t a deep red, she asked me «are you color blind? that’s red» Im sorry, but that’s not the way you should talk to your costumers.
Also, we tried to communicate with them and they chose to ignore us and continue yelling at each other from across the salon.
My nails turned out fine, aside from the color, but that’s it. I got a fill and a basic pedicure and it was $ 45. Extremely overpriced for the quality of service we got.
Lastly, they have this adorable dog that runs around like a maniac. Yes, it’s cute, but definitely unprofessional. The dog was biting at my pants, took my friends shoe, and doing inappropriate acts that male pets do. Also, the dog peed on their couch and they didn’t clean it up and continued to have customers sit on the couch. Ew! & of course the whole time Sandy is doing my nails, she’s yelling at her dog and letting it disturb customers. At one point she hit the dog and grabbed it by its paws and put it under the couch. Maybe you should just leave your puppy at home.
Basically, don’t go here!!! You can get better service at so many other salons.

Price is right! Basic Gel mani/​pedi for $ 39. It’s $ 5 extra for callous removal, and $ 5 extra for French Manicure design.
They DO have air conditioning, but they open the windows… So that lets all the AC out, and all the hot air in. I don’t know why they do that — they need to keep the windows shut so it stays cool inside.
My feet and nails were done by Lily, and my eyebrows ($ 7) were done by Mimi. I’m happy with my services. For the price, it’s worth it. You can’t beat it! They accepted my Groupon w/​o any problems. Staff was nice. I’m going back. But I’m going to need them to keep the windows shut! Lol
We’ll see how my nails do… Told her I needed thick Gel Coats because I constantly wash my hands all day and it will begin to peel in 2 days if it’s not thickly coated…

Came back the next day owner Sandy asked hasn’t it been 10 days! Tried to have me pay for a refill. Knowing she just told me yesterday to come today. Then the lady doing them didn’t want to do them she put so much primer it caused my eye to burn I just got up and left! Never
I went here to get my lashes done seeing them on Instagram. I called and made an appointment and when I got there they didn’t ask me what I wanted she just started doing my lashes. It took 2 hours which I though was a long time. After they were done she said they were individual and that they lasted longer and the price was way higher than the regular clusters I went in for. Needless to say 3 days later my lashes started just coming off. Clusters last longer than 3 days! So she stated any problems I could come back the first week and they would fix them. So I go in and how are both people that do lashes off on the same day?! Weird to say the least. What if you have a walk in for lashes? You’re willing to just loose out on that money? Anyways after they fix these I will never come back. All the nails look poorly done unless they’re done by Sandy the owner.

I brought a $ 39 groupon. It was suppose to be for $ 70 worth of services. A gel manicure and gel pedicure. I was soon duped into more items by saying «oh you don’t need Gel for your toes. lets do this instead it’s worth $ 5.00 by the time I was ready to go they wanted another $ 36.00. And worst yet my nails looked terrible.
I was too afraid to not pay. So I paid and left and called to speak to the manager. I complained to the person on the phone. Guess what the manager never called.
This place is a scam. I would not send my worse enemy to this place.

I found a groupon and came to 3D Wonderland after making an appointment. The entrance is actually towards the back where you would park in the lot. The salon is basically a former house that they transitioned into a section for nails, facials, lashes and pedicures. The salon itself is fairly huge. I wouldn’t say it’s modern per se since there’s paint on the ceiling chipped off and the interior looks a bit run down.
Sandy greeted me and walked me over to the pedicure station. I was really hoping to do some kind of nail art but ended up just doing a simple two tone color pedicure and manicure.
I’m not sure if Sandy was in a rush or if she just works fast, but when it started getting late and more customers were waiting, she started to scramble to file and trim my nails. The gel nail brand this salon uses is DND which seems to be the favored brand in salons in the Inland Empire. I’m used to seeing the brand Gelish. They do offer OPI nail polish colors and a few other brands for regular manicures.
With the groupon, I paid $ 35 which is a great deal. Sandy said I could buy it directly through her too, but I like buying it via groupon since I get cash back via ebates.
Mani and pedi together took over an hour which is a bit longer than I prefer but since I only had 1 person working on me, I guess that’s an appropriate amount of time.
