Sacramento Chiropractic Care

I haven’t been to very many chiropractor care offices but this is by far the most friendly place I’ve been to. The staff is really nice and the chiropractor Dr schaffhausen is really understanding and willing to working with you. Everyone is very professional and they do a great job at making you feel comfortable.

Dr Schaffhausen is really friendly and attentive. He was gentle and quick when performing the adjustments on my spine. He addressed all of my concerns and quickly made a recommendation for my employer to accommodate my disability. I will be looking forward to continuing my treatment at this office.

I first started going to Dr. S in 2009. My experience with other chiropractors is limited as i’ve only tried out a few but there’s a reason I still go Sacramento Chiropractic Care. My issues were never major so I can’t speak to the Dr’s abilities in that area but if you have minor back pain or are proactive about your health and like an occasional adjustment to keep your spine in line, then this is the place for you.
He has had the same staff for years and they are friendly and helpful. The typical visit starts with laying on a hydro-​massage bed to loosen up the back muscles. Dr. S then does the adjustment followed by ultrasound to penetrate the muscles and lastly an electric massager on the back.
I have been a client all these years because I feel comfortable at Sacramento Chiropractic as Dr. S is very friendly and knowledgeable (including giving me exercises for the gym to strengthen my lower back).

Hands down the best Chiropractor I have ever been to. Great Doctor, Massage Therapist and office staff.
I highly recommend him to everyone. They take my insurance.

Dr. Joseph Schaffhausen (Dr. J) is awesome, where do I start, he is very professional, he is very funny, I’ve been coming for years and I’ve never experienced a bad appointment with Dr. J.
If you are hurting for any reason let Dr. J take a look at you. He will always tell you what he is doing so there is no surprises if it’s your first time with a chiropractor.
Another great person here is his massage therapist that happens to be his wife, Edie she’s awesome, funny, caring, nice, and if you need a good massage she is the person to get it from! She will make you feel great.
If it’s your first time just mentioned that you read Manny’s review here on Unilocal and that will put a smile on there faces.

Very personable, compassionate and friendly. If he doesn’t hear from me for awhile, he calls to check up on me and is always available for a drop by visit. I don’t have a schedule that allows me to schedule appointments, so it’s nice to be able to get in by just showing up.

I have been going to Dr. Schaffhausen for over 20 years. He uses the Palmer method and is the best. His wife, Edie, does amazing therapeutic massages too. I highly recommend this place. They will take good care of you too!

Doctor S and his team are the best! I have been coming here for years and absolutely love it! The Doc always knows what adjustment I need to fix my issues. I have sporadic back issues and they are very flexible when I call to schedule my appointments. Plus they have an onsite masseuse so you can get adjusted and get a massage all in one place. Another great feature is you can buy appointments in bulk which reduces the per appointment cost. This place offers it all and I wont go anywhere else. I agree with the previous Unilocaler, don’t let the location fool you, the service is 5 star.

I am reviewing Sacramento Chiropractic Care as this is the name on the front of his business. Dr. Joe clearly has a great establishment as he does not advertise. All business is by referral, I personally was referred by my father in law…
At first I was a little leery as the location is not exactly prime, however, the care and effort in the exam and experience is definitely worth the stop in for a quick adjustment.
I have wanted to visit a chiropractor again for over 5 years, just never did it. Finally I made the decision as I had some issues over the weekend. Called in Monday and was in by 11:00 am. Rescheduled for Wednesday and it all worked out quite well.
I highly suggest checking this place out if you are considering. Simply because Dr. Joe is 100% about the care and not the overabundance of revisits. He promptly knew where I needed adjusting and nailed each of my favorite adjustments the first time.
