I took my son in for a molding today and waited over a hour. I’m usually very patient but my children were tired and hungry just coming from school. I started to lose patience when people who came way after us were going in. So I asked the lady in the front how much longer. She said she was going to check, but left and never came back. She was the older big lady. 10 minutes go by and a younger man takes her place, by now I was pretty upset, so I inform the young man about our situation. He was very nice and got us in right a away. The molding only took 10 minutes. The wait was just ridiculous. The thing is, I think they forgot about my son. There shouldn’t ever be that long a wait, that’s why we have appt’s. Hopefully it would be a better experience next time.

This is seriously ridiculous!!! I went in for (one) retainer, and The guy in the front quoted me for 250 on the phone and in person. After 2 hours of waiting and waiting, a guy who gives the price quote came by and told me to wait a little more, I was waiting and waiting again. After 15 – 20 min later I was getting irritated and went up to the front and I found him gossiping with others then I get quoted for 310. This is some bullshit! Waste of my time! The manager didn’t help AT ALL! They shouldn’t be working or giving price quotes at all! They don’t know how to keep their word and patients satisfied. I am really frustrated with the people in the front! I will call the highest person in charged with that office. This is not right! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE. THEY TAKE SO LONG AND THEY END UP GIVING YOU A WRONG PRICE. MANAGER IS A BITCH!

Dr Kim and all staff were professional and great at what they do. Dr David Kim has great techniques. I wouldn’t recommend a root canal but if I must have another one, I will be back here for it.
Clean, remodeled and organized office. I really appreciate his attentiveness and explanation of what he was doing in the process.
I had to go back for a re-​treatment of a tooth. I was very comfortable with the process. :)

This was an outstanding overall visit along with costomer service. I was beyond satisfied in terms of every aspect of my visit. My deep cleaning went great, and every single member of RC dental was top notch. The dentist was out of this world good

Went back for a re root canal. great experience all the way through. There was a 20 minutes wait, but doctor was super nice, knew what he was doing, didn’t feel a thing and was out of there in about 45 minutes. This is at least my third time I have been there and I will go back for sure.

Was referred to them for a root canal and I was prepared to be there for an hour. But I came in Dr. Kim was fast I didn’t even feel the needle at all I’ve never had that experience before ever. The staff was nice and friendly to me the lady I met was not rude. I was reading some of the other posts and I was prepared for rude and bad service but I got none of that. He was fast efficient and I was pleasantly surprised how quick it was.

I have been taking my son to this office for a little over 18 months and within that time 3 of his fillings have either fallen out or broken. I called the office today because yet another filling has broken and needs to be fixed. I was unfortunate enough to get Christina on the line who is not only extremely rude but has terrible customer service skills. She informed me that my son would be seen on Tuesday and IF the doctor had time he would fix the issue that day however if he didn’t have time we would have to come back another day. I told her that concerned me because he was in a lot of pain and needed to be taken care of on Tuesday and that he was already having to wait 4 days to be seen in the 1^st place. I also told her that I was concerned about the workmanship being done to my sons mouth being that this is the 3^rd time that this has happened and she so rudely told me that if I am that concerned I should call my insurance and change dentists… Are you kidding me why would she not want to regain my confidence in the work that they do she would rather send us away. I even addressed this with her and she said there is nothing she can do about the way I feel and refused to discuss any further. I let her know that maybe she should brush up on her customer service skills because this is not the way to keep a customer and again she DID NOT CARE. Run fast from this place!!! And I will be reporting them to the dental board and to my insurance!

I’ve used this dental group for all my dental work since I moved to Rancho Cordova. I’ve gotten good care here each time. The reception and billing people are polite and professional. The one drawback is the inconsistency in wait times: You may be lucky to get right in to see the dentist/​hygienist or you may have to wait up to an hour or even more.

Wish there was an option for negative stars, bc they don’t even deserve one star!!! My rating would be –2 stars! This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a dental office and I haven’t even been seen by them YET! I have been assigned to this dental office through Delta Dental USA. Given that I had no choice of dentists I still do my regular 6 month regular cleaning and check ups. I had called 3 times in 3 weeks and every time I’d get their answering machine. I’d leave a message with my info and they never even attempted to call me back! So 4 months went by and I’d tried a few more times to set a routine check up/​cleaning with no response. Then out of nowhere I had a dental emergency on a Thursday night, I called left an urgent message explaining my whole left lower jaw was swelling up without any pain and I had no problem teeth that I knew of but I needed to be seen immediately. No return call on Thursday night or on Friday morning by 10am! So I called them, and once again I got the answering service! Frustrated as hell by now bc my face looked like I had tennis ball stuffed in my left cheek! I called every 10 minutes leaving messages every time knowing their hours of operation and they close early on Fridays. I was Very Tired of Explaining that this was getting worse by every call and begged for someone to at least call me back and let me know what to do! I never heard back from RC Dental Group! So 30 hours from the onset, I finally gave up on RCDG and went to the ER at the hospital! I was told that this was such a serious infection I had to have IV antibiotics and had to stay the next 48 hours in the hospital. The triage nurse asked me, «why didn’t u call your dentist as soon as it started?» I explained the whole scenario. He shook his head and said,“well I hope you give them hell or find another dentist! Bc of someone’s negligence you could’ve died!”
This was a simple cracked tooth that could’ve been caught months before if I just had gotten a call back to schedule my routine exam.
Well, it didn’t cost me my life but it cost me a heck of a lot of money! And I still to this day have not gotten a call back for an appointment with them to fix my tooth! But I did find another dental office that excepts my insurance and to take me as a new patient!
I really feel screwed over by a dental group that can’t even have the decency to return a call!

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. They made me wit 45 mins and then they cleaned my teeth for 2 mins. I don’t even feel like I have had my teeth cleaned. The dentist has no bedside manner either. I have to return to have a filling replaced but after that I will next come back to this dump.

The dentist was really pretty good, but his staff is absolutely horrible. It’s like buying a used car in there, once they get your money everything changes, and they do get the money. They charged $ 800 to my card for a root canal. They took the money 2 days BEFORE my appointment. I don’t trust them, and most definitely won’t be returning.

After the nightmare with my broken crown I found out they charged me for the new crown and my insurance company rejected the crown so I ended up paying for it, but they still managed to get it all wrong and they lost the payment! Just RUN away from this place

Horrible customer service. Made an appointment and first thing available is in June, and it’s April now.

I was referred to this office for a root canal over the holidays because my dental office was understaffed at the time.
My experience with Dr. Kim was seamless – he was very kind and the process took all of 20 minutes to complete. I was very surprised with how quickly it went!
My issue and the reason I am rating 1 star is this: I set up a payment plan in order to pay off the fee at this office (like I said, I’m no regular). My payment plan was not followed. The office charged me 2 weeks after the scheduled date causing my debit account to over draft. There was no warning – no phone call to say ‘hey, we’re taking your money on the 1^st instead of the 19^th like we agreed to.’ Nothing.
I called the office daily and left messages because no one answered the phone. I then went in personally and was told that a manager would call me that day to help me sort things out.
The women at the desk were nonchalant and didn’t seem to care about my problem and I never did get a call back.
Apparently if you owe them money at any rate, they are allowed to charge you whenever they please despite a signed agreement by both parties. $ 50.00 is just an everyday fee for them, but for me, it is money I am counting on to say, pay rent.
Thank you for the extra time and care! As someone who has been in service and has swiped the credit cards of people who trust me to charge the right amount at the right time for the past 20 years, I am appalled at the way you have treated me and am glad you’re not my primary. I will be alerting my primary of this issue and they know me well.

I have been a patient of RC Dental Group and for over 4 years now and I have always been impressed with this office. The office itself is inviting and the staff always happy and helpful. The Dentist can be a bit intimidating for some people but The dentist at this office have always been informative and explained the process one step at a time so I could understand.
My Boyfriend had an infected tooth and it needed to be pulled and they helped him through every step and Jennifer the office manager even stepped in to help ease any concerns we might have had.
We have referred a few of our friends and all of them had nothing but good things to say even Thanking us for the referal. We definitely plan on being long time patients.

I have received the fifth email from a Unilocal user today telling me they have had a similar HORRIFIC experience with RC DENTAL and went rounds with the unprofessional Office Manager Jennifer! WOW. Can’t believe she is still employed there and that Dr Kim hasn’t investigated everybody’s claims re: her. Like I stated before, she must be family or receiving special favors from the owner… if so, there is NO excuse as to why she is still employed!

Horrible experience! I had an appointment and waited a half hour over my appointment time only for them to tell me they couldn’t do anything about my tooth pain for TWO months! Also significantly more expensive than other dentist. I checked.

I took my 5 year old grandson here a few times. This was one of the worst dental experiences I have ever had, and I wasn’t even the one in the chair. They tried to tell me that THEY are protected by HIPA laws and we couldn’t video him being worked on. That was a super red flag. Why are they concerned and what are they hiding. Yeah we did video. 5 year olds and laughing gas = hilarious. They cancel appointments at the last minute. And if English is the only language you speak, good luck. Most of the assistant and office staff were friendly, but the dentist, not so much.

I have to say that everyone at RC Dental Group were WONDERFUL! The ladies at the front desk are so sweet and helpful! Today I was especially happy because I had to take my 8 year old son in for a root canal and because my insurance doesn’t cover pediatrics anymore we had to have an adult dentist. Donna Heischober, DDS was sooo great with my son! She made my son and I feel at ease! I had so much anxiety this morning for no reason! Both visits I’ve had so far have been great!

Very busy office. Very nice doctors. Dr. Kim is definitely an awesome root canal specialist. Painless root canal, very effective with giving injections. Great dental office!
