Quest Diagnostics

Bradley pretty much sums it up. I’ve never been so rudely treated in my life. Susie has to go. I think they understaff and put their worst people at this location. Who can blame them. most of the clientele are immigrants or don’t have the ability to know how bad the service is, because they’ve been treated like that and expect no difference,. I can go to one of the Folsom clinics and the service is great. so they red line. If you in Rancho they know they can get away with it.

They need to change their first contact person. I had a appointment and checked in with the RUDE female at the counter, no smile, no help, just pushed a sign in board towards me. I told her I had a online appointment and she said they were busy & take a seat…
5mins later another lady called my first name, so I walked up to the counter and handed her my paperwork. The RUDE one then says its a mistake and they were looking for another person with the same first name that has a 9am appointment… I share that I have a 9am appointment. The RUDE one says I didn’t fill the sign in sheet correctly and proceeds to lecture me on filling out the sheet… HOW ABOUT YOU TAKE 30 seconds to talk to a CUSTOMER about Quest‘s «Welcome to Quest Diagnostics» …the sad thing about this is they are just like the DMV… they could care less about common care… where else are you going to go.
They have a captive paying customer base and it shows a clear «I don‘t give a crap about you, only your insurance «by a RUDE person handling first contact.
I have asked my PCP for another option… Please put this person in charge of emptying trash, not talking to PAYING customers.

This may be a local office and therefore have a captive audience but you will wait, and wait and wait and wait and wait. Often times they are understaffed and even with an appointment you will wait and wait and wait and wait. Choose a different location, it has got to be better staffed and perhaps the facility won’t look so run down either.

This place is terrible! The wait is too long, their patient processing is not well orchestrated and they give you no idea how long the wait will be. I waited over an hour just for a urine test because their process is to have their two techs input the patient lab test information into the computer as they call each patient up rather than have one tech input the data and one do the phlebotomy. So, they never catch up on the computer entry and then have that tech free to help do the tests after the data is entered. If you go there for just a urine test, which doesn’t require a phlebotomist you have to wait unnecessarily. When I did try to find out how long it would be, the tech was very unhelpful and rather rude. It was an unbelievable experience! I did write a complaint to Quest but they haven’t contacted me so they must not care about patient complaints which could lead to process improvement and ultimately a better patient experience.

Wow what a fantastic experience! I needed some blood drawn and the woman that helped me was such a professional! One prick and six Vials and I was done. I made an appointment online the day prior and was in and out in about 20 minutes. I chose this location because they had a 4:15 slot so I didn’t have to miss work. I would definitely recommend the staff here. The building itself was a bit hidden but it’s west of CalFit.

I really hate this place. I’m in a line of people waiting to check in. Ten minutes ago the person at the front desk just walked away without a word. Is she on a break? Did she leave for the day? Is she coming back? Now we are all standing here getting irritated and wondering what’s going on. Good customer service doesn’t cost a thing. How much effort would it take to let everyone know what is going on?

Terrible Experience, avoid this location at ALL COSTS. I setup an appointment online a week ahead of when I needed to go it. I arrived 15 minutes early, at 8:45 for my 9am appointment. Signed in, and then waited. and waited. Finally at 9:30 they called someone in for their 9:15 appointment. But wait! I had a 9am appointment, what about me? I went up to talk the the nurse at the desk and was greeted wth. OMG…Bad Attitude! What do you want? Why are you standing at my counter? I asked when I would be seen and instead of looking she literally threw the sign in list at me, where upon i showed her my name which had been crossed out as if I had already been seen! I pointed this out to her and she informed me that I must have left the room. I had not only not left the room, I listened intently to each name that was called waiting for mine. It never was. Now only slightly chagrined, she decided I would be seen next. Ok, guess what. i was not seen next, they proceeded to call another person before me, again!!! I walked back up and she gave me another helping of bad attitude informing me that i should just be patient. Now late for work, and 30 minutes late for my scheduled appointment, I waited and was eventually called. I asked if there was an office manager i could speak to and was informed that ‘there is not’. I registered a formal complaint to quest and they told me that they would talk to the office staff. But what about me? what about my lost time? Even starbucks gives me free coffee when they screw up this bad? Nothing, deaf ears. My lost time and frustration due to their failure is my own to deal with. So dear readers, please, if you value your time and your sanity. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

This place sucks, long long waits. The people tell you an hour, so we signed in, then we came back an hour later and they said it will be another hour. It’s like they didn’t help a single person. This happend two times now. You can NOT make an appointment in person u MUST do it online. Rediculous when your standing in front of a person working there but they won’t help you. They say come back at 7 in the morning if you want to be seen rite away. So we came back at 7 in the morning and wait for 30 minutes before they tell us they don’t take our insurance (blue cross) and they won’t help us. Even though our doctor sent us here. Would have been nice to know the first day so we didn’t have to waist three mornings at this place. Don’t go here if you value your time cause you will wait forever

Made an appointment and attempted to get directions. Google maps, Iphone, and Quest’s own map service wouldn’t recognize the address. Couldn’t get directions. I called Quest three times while in the vicinity and all they have is a recording giving cross streets. There was no way to reach a live person. After wasting 45 min driving in circles I gave up and went elsewhere. Glad I have an understanding employer! What a waste of time, horrible.

I highly suggest making an appointment, otherwise you will be waiting all day. I was there for 2 hours and left without being seen. They aren’t extremely friendly.

OMG! In and out in 10 minutes! Made a same day appointment not 4 hours ago, walked in, got blood drawn and left. I felt a little bad for all the people waiting that hadn’t made an appointment. Also: I have a fear of needles and I didn’t even feel the prick.

People with an appointment waited more than an hour. Chumps like me still sitting here an hour an half no service yet. More than 20 people packed in the lobby, standing room only, overflow into the hallways. Regulars stating this is the norm, really???

Awful awful awful. Made appt at 12 and I am still waiting and it is 1:15. I made this appt on my lunch time I am late for work.

These guys are awesome. They were great with my infant son who had to have labs every week even though they aren’t a pediatric specialty location. Patient and loving with him and they would greet us every week with a smile.

This is the Quest location I’ve had the best experience with, even though it’s a drive for me.

Was here five times this past month. Super fast for walkins. Friendly staff. Only issue is that front waiting area smells like an old person hone.

Great place… Professional and fast.

Pleasantly surprised it’s pretty quick and efficient here with lobby full of people upon my arrival without an appointment. The staffs are friendly. I’m not a big fan of needles, but they made it bearable and listened to my concerns. I will now make this my primary lab location since it’s also close to home.
