I didn’t actually receive service, just the bid. But I want to give props.
I needed to get a couple cracked panes and water-​stained panes replaced in my rental. Les answered the call and was on the site taking measurements WITHIN THE HOUR. His estimate was dang low. (If I knew it would be this cheap, I would have replaced these windows much earlier!)
I also pulled a quote from his competitor, another Unilocal!top ranked glass company that also had great service ans was there within the hour. Both of them offered very low bids and offered to match their competitor. I had to choose one, so I flipped a coin.

Asked for a esimate on my vacant rental sliding door, i was having other work done and workers were there when they came out, they repaired the slider and billed me, i just wanted a esimate, when i spoke with the owner he was rude and loud. I told him i would just paid him since the was done, he stated no he was going to sent someone to my house to take the new parts off, i told him not too and he did anyway. Worst company to deal with, not sure how they are even in business. Look on Unilocal found good honest conpany to work with.

My windows and screens look great! During springtime, I opened up my windows to bring in the nice cool air to find a surprise. The bottom parts of many of my screens had chunks of screen missing. After doing some investigation, my cat and I caught the culprits in the act. It was birds! The birds were removing strands of the nylon screens to build their nests in nearby trees. I decided to replace many window screens along with two windows that needed to replaced. I called 2 different businesses in to do an estimate. Pennington & Sons was definitely the better estimate and customer service experience. It was a positive experience from beginning to end. I now have two new windows and great looking wire screens! The birds have left my screens alone. Since my experience was so positive, my neighbor also used Pennington and Sons for her bird screen problems and was happy with the wire screens and service.

OK, saw the reviews and decided that we needed two windows repaired and one replaced. Les called me back right away, made an appointment and arrived on time. Looked over the windows and wrote me a fair quote. The service guys called me ahead of time and arrived as arranged. They were friendly and got the job done quickly. Have great new window and ones that work. Couldn’t ask for more.

If you’re looking for an old-​school, family run shop that does great work, stands by their word, is on time and really pleasant to work with this is the place.
I recently needed to have some work done on leaking windows at my mother’s house and a window repair at my grandmother’s house. The first job was pretty complicated and we talked to the French Door Store, Hall’s windows and some others. The sales guys from the French door store and Halls windows came out and looked at the job and said they’d get back to me but then never followed up. When I followed up with them they said it was the roof and they didn’t do that work. Les Pennington came out, diagnosed the problem correctly and pointed out that it is a leaking window but we would need some major contacting work done. I felt bad that Les came out to the house twice, spend lots of his time talking to us about a job that we ultimately had to give somebody else because of the framing work involved. I followed up with Les to have him do the window repair at my grandmother’s house. The work was great, the price was right with no complications. He earned five stars.

Just received a tabletop glass. They came to my house to measure, and they delivered/​installed the glass within a few business days. Excellent customer service, rapid service, and a great price (saved a lot of money compared to other bids).

We got three estimates on sunscreens for our home and chose Pennington & Sons because Les was quick to respond and right on with recommendations for the final choice of color to compliment our brick exterior. We are looking forward to using Pennington & Sons for other jobs around our home. Pennington and Sons owner (Les) and his workers did a great job. They were honest on what needed to be repaired and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them for all your window and screen repairs.

We have come to Les to help us with glass shower door installations, replacement glass in a sliding patio door in our rental units and now a replacement window in our home.
His people show up when scheduled (huge plus), do great work and leave the job cleaner than they found it.

I got three bids for windows at our house. Frankly they were all about the same price. However, what made me choose Les over the other two was his honesty and willingness to make the experience as easy and cheap as possible. The old windows were in bad shape. The rollers were worn and rusty, and the glass had condensation on the inside. The other two guys wanted to sell me new windows. Les gave me options, which I really appreciated. Also, he was the only one who was able, and offered, to obtain the color I wanted. The installation was very quick. The interior trim was not available yet, but as the process so far has been stellar, I anticipate that he will install it as soon as it gets in. Overall, I’m very pleased. I would definitely use Pennington & Sons again.

Les is awesome, always answers the phone, and will cut you a deal when you pay in cash! I am very happy with the service and he remembers you by the voice on the phone!

This company was recommended to me by a friend and we were very pleased with all aspects of their work. From the initial response to our inquiry to scheduling the work and completion, all was top notch. They are truly concerned about saving you money. I thought a new sliding door was going to cost me $ 1,800 to $ 2,000. They came in and replaced the glass, rollers, screen door and snapped in a steel roller track and saved me $ 1,300. It looks and works great. My neighbor used them too for replacing a broken window.
If you have any glass needs, you have to give Pennington & Sons a call. Unless you just like to throw away money.

We had a GREAT experience with Les, the owner.
We ordered several windows (Mercer brand) for a property and the windows were installed correctly and on time (3 weeks).
We had follow-​ups IMMEDIATELY handled promptly handled by Les himself… Great customer service!
His prices were fair and the Mercer windows lived up to being a valid replacement to the more expensive/​famous brand names.
I would use him again if I needed any projects done and basically that’s just the highest recommendation i can give!

Call Les for all your glass needs! He is professional, does quality work and has reasonable prices.
We have a 3 story townhome that needed 1 window replaced. I’m sure it wasn’t the easiest job and definitely not the biggest. Les came out to give me an estimate and did the replacement when other local companies wouldn’t even give me the time of day, since our job was so small.
