Been wanting to try this place for a while. This is a small brewery located in rancho Cordova inside a small warehouse. They only had 2 of 7 beers on tap but carried an abundance of guest beers. I had the Red Rooster Scotch Ale which I was very satisfied. It had a great caramel flavor and the scotch after bite.

Amazing! I was next door at KK Collision center and was told that I should come check it out at the end of the workday, really glad I did. Amazing service on a Wednesday evening and great tasting thirst quenchers!

I like the scotch ale and the breakout stout here. My only wish is that they would brew some belgium beers. It’s a fun place to hang out though and the staff is always pretty nice.

Divvy brewery in Rancho Cordova. Kind of hard to find as it is tucked in the third set of buildings in an industrial area. Decent prices on beer, 3bux for 12oz cups, 4bux for glass pints. I like the Red. Though many are a fan of the Scotch ale. It is like someone built a brewery in a storage shelter. Perfect for the college scene. The bartender was cool and knew more than just the beer titles. No food here, just pretzels and limited hours so plan accordingly.

Really great place to get a craft beer, very friendly beertender, excellent beer, pretzels, fun! They sell growlers and it’s cheaper to buy a Lockdown glass and get it filled instead of the plastic cups. First week of the month is ladies’ week and it’s only a $ 1.00 for a glass of beer. It’s a little hard to find.

Not too bad of a place. Very hidden. The place looked interesting, sorta like an open garage. I’ve never been to a place like it. My coworker took me after work and ordered me something light. We bought the pint glass cups and apparently you get to keep them because you bought it which I thought was pretty neat.

Great micro brew spot in the middle of lovely Rancho Cordova. The location and beer makes this a 4 star. If you didnt know exactly where this place is located you would never stumble in to this little gem. Everytime I have gone I have bumped into people that work in the same complex. They must be the regulars that keep this place in the black.

Lockdown is hosting a Pro-Am so come on down and have a look at home brewing, have a fantastic Lockdown brew and enjoy food from the New Bite Catering food truck. There is a variety of beer on tap, all good, and even a guest brew. Good times, plenty of inside seating, couches in corners and a small room with seating as well as the bar area. Friendly staff.

Went here on a Friday afternoon /evening after biking up from Sacramento. Started with the sampler of beers. Thought the imperial wheat was fairly good. The sour wasn’t particularly sour. The pale ale was my favorite, but I generally prefer those anyway. All in all, decent beers and a great value — 75oz tasters for $ 7 total. Bartenders were great — friendly and helpful. So, I was fairly satisfied with the beer, etc. Unfortunately, some bros there decided to be a tool and try to pick a fight and shoved my friend, claiming my friend and I stole some girl’s cellphone. Obviously, he hadn’t. But that was a pretty lame thing to have happen at the end of the even, so I can’t give the place more than 3 stars. It was a pretty chill place, other than the aggro bros at the end of the night.

Go here. Go here and don’t look back. Awesome casual atmosphere, pets welcome(on leashes), free pool and foosball, and great beer. Minus one star bc they rarely have dark beers and are often out of stock of something — a beer tapped out, or growlers or pint glasses, usually. The beer they do have is awesome. The beer tenders are super friendly — Julien and Jonathan especially. We have found our«Cheers» ~ great place to relax after a tough day(or an easy one!)

I was using a Groupon for Premium Glass & Tint Inc. in Rancho Cordova(great experience btw), and I asked the gentleman running the shop if there was a coffee shop or nice place to hang out nearby. He suggested Lockdown, and it was really close so I went there. Julien let me in early and allowed me to hangout while he was prepping. He is a really nice guy. Very genuine. I tasted a few and settled on a red. It was delicious. The environment is very casual and comfortable. There are several rooms and comfy couches and chairs to sit on. It was definitely a pleasant surprise.

I have been drinking Lockdown beer for years. The Blonde Ale and the IPA are my favorites. The location is somewhat strange for a bar but it is close to the freeway. They also have another location in Folsom.

If you like amazing craft beer, this place is for you. Any place that has orange and black as flagship colors should be down for our local champs. I really wish I could watch the Giants games here. There is no way to watch baseball games. YOUGOTTAINSTALL A TV!!! I know there are limited hours of operation, but it would be sweet if I could watch our beloved Giants while I enjoy locally made, tasty beers. The tasting«beertenders’ are awesome and super friendly. Beers are tasty and well made. I prefer the tasting room over the downtown Folsom location. High fives– all around. Cheers!

Tried my darndest to find this place after purchasing a Groupon for a beer punchcard. I used my GPS to get here and it took me to a set of warehouses. What?!? You know what would help? If they put a sign in front that had the name«Lockdown Brewery» with an arrow pointing to the back — the side that faces the Lightrail. Simple. It would save a lot of headaches and get them more business! I was just about to give up finding this place and throw in the proverbial towel. By the time I DID find this place, I was ready for a beer. Yes, this is in a converted warehouse. There were two gas heaters set up, but it was still pretty darn cold inside. A foosball table is set up in back. Guns N’ Roses was blasting away loudly in the background and hate to say it, but I’m not a GNR fan. The beer itself is not bad, a little hoppy for me, but there were so many varieties to choose from, I’m sure one would be to your liking. I am going to wait until it gets warmer to come back. Drinking a cold beer in the cold is not a pleasant experience for me. I ended up having one beer here and then headed to Sheepherder’s which is just down the road.

Now that they opened on Sutter street this should be the place to go for a beer in Folsom. Though all their beers are very good, I prefer the Scotch Ale. Can’t wait for this place to get the kitchen up and running as this will be the place to go in Old Folsom when that occurs. Robert, the owner/brewer and the gal tending bar are friendly and it has a kind of «Cheers» feel to it.

I feel like I have supported this place before I even tried it. Breweries are all about being local and Lockdown really tells the history of Foslom, from the Prison to the Rainbow Bridge. The started a brewpub in Rancho Cordova and now have a location in Folsom on Sutter Street. Its a brewpub on the second story that has a outdoor area that overlooks the street. Inside is very open and has a long bar for everyone to sit. The brewpub was really well thought out and fells right. The beer was very good, especially for a new brewery. We tried their: Emma’s Blonde Ale Sutter Street Common Powerhouse Pale Ale Powerhouse IPA Represa Red Ale Rainbow Bridge Rootbeer(seriously try it!) The beers were right on. Stop by for a visit and help another brewery make a name for itself.

We were lucky to find this local brewery through groupon. Im really glad we stopped by. We will be back. They have several beers available. I enjoyed the red. They have plenty of seats, couches and areas to keep you amused. The only negative is the hours. I wish it was open on the weekend… We will enjoy beer here again…

I feel like I stumbled upon a hidden jewel, a jewel nestled in a industrial park that when discovered dispenses extremely affordable, high quality craft brews and engaging conversation. Granted, 4 – 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday hours housed in a warehouse in Rancho Cordova perhaps isn’t the most convenient setup, but I can respect that this is a growing operation that is making things work with the opportunities at hand as they eventually expand(I hear a tasting room in Old Folsom is about to open any day now). The tasting space is decorated nicely and the staff, which consisted of a volunteer and one of the co-owners(Jonathan?), were a blast to talk with. And wow, those beers are worth it. I had the Represa Red Ale, their seasonal Locktoberfest, and the Powerhouse India Pale Ale, all worthy of a pint or two. Best of all, they offer a prepaid beer card that brings the price per cup of beer down between $ 2 and $ 2.50 a cup. Still, at $ 3 per beer regular price, you can’t go wrong. You can also get three tasters for the price of a single beer, plus six packs, cases, and kegs. We took the light rail there from midtown, an while it’s close to the Sunrise station, it’s a out-of-the-way path to circle around fences and businesses to get there(although well worth it!). If you’re driving, look for KK Collision, turn into the group of buildings, and head back until you think you’ve gone too far. The brewery faces the light rail tracks along the back row of businesses.

Very cool local brewery! It’s located in an industrial building in an unlikely spot. But beer is great and the brewers friendly. The cost is very reasonable and you can buy a drink card for greater savings and more enjoying! It is located all they way to the rear of the property facing the rail tracks. Check it out you’ll enjoy it!
