Lamour Nails

I went to get my eyebrows waxed there today and they open at 10 but I got there before 10 and waited until 10:20 and they still had not opened. I looked inside and no one was in there all the lights were off. I guess they just open when they feel like it.

I love this place! It is really nice and the ladies are super sweet and really good at what they do. My only thought is they need more people, it’s just the two ladies and they get pretty busy.

Never a bad experience! They know their work and come as close to perfection as this kind of work gets! The salon itself is absolutely beautiful ascetically appealing and relaxing. The equipment is clean and very well maintained. An overall great experience every time! I drive from San Francisco for their service its that worth it!

This nail salon is great !! It is 100% worth the price. I went in today and wanted a Fill on my acrylic nails, I did have to wait so I do recommend making an appointment, calling ahead or being patient. Trust me it’s worth it. The ladies here are professional and nice, the nail saloon is beautiful and clean, definitely the nicest In the area. I Showed the manicurist A Specific picture of LAna DEl ReY ‘s Nails, A Red SeT of Stiletto or «claw» nails. Most places I asked to do these type of nails refuse since the technique is difficult but At Lamour nails they delivered !! I got exactly what I wanted, they are perfect just like the picture !!! Cost was $ 25.00 which for this specific style is a great deal. I will definitely return

I’m so happy I was referred to try Lamour Nails. The store is very clean and updated. The girls do a really wonderful job and are friendly and sweet. I left another salon because the staff was not friendly and didn’t do a good of job on my nails… I’ve had very good manicures and powder nails and am thrilled. I highly recommend this nail salon. I’ve been there 8 times now and will continue to go.

My mom was treating me to a pedicure because I’m over-​due FTM so we went to the near by Denny’s and then came here. They have a sign on the Window that says «Walk in’s Welcome» so we walk in and ask for 2 pedicures. 1 lady doesn’t even look our way and calls out to someone else in the back, who takes her time coming out then looks at us and says, we only do appts, do you want to come back later?! Ummmmmmmmm NO we don’t and why the hell do you have a «walk ins welcomed» painted on your door if your gunna tell me to make an appt! So we walked out an went somewhere else which happened to be AMAZING btw!!! Will never come back here. EVER!

I really liked this nail salon. very clean and sanitary, and they use Name Brand Polish. excellent job on my manicure and pedicure. I was very happy with the way my nails look. I think I have found a new place to get my nails done!

I am from out of town and needed a quick fill. I had called a few places none of which were friendly via phone or took cards. When I called they said come around 5:30. I arrived just early and after a slight wait was called over. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing and everything was very clean. I’ve never had such a quick and efficient gel fill — which made up for the slight wait. The girls are friendly and carried on conversation in a nice and not so overbearing manner. The gel choices were cute and fun for all year round. I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely return for a pedicure/​fill in the future. It’s hard to find a place like this that has it all going for them. Plus you can tip on card!

I have been coming here for years now. The décor is classy and always clean. I usually drop in but if there is ever a wait they tell me what time would be best to come back. My mom, my best friend, and my grandma get their manicures and pedicures here as well. I also get my brows waxed here and they are always done with detail and trimmed not just waxed. The price is about $ 5 more than most salons but I am willing to pay it for the quality of products they use (the gel polish I’ve had at Crystal Nails peels within days). I work in customer service myself so I appreciate that they know my name, ask about my family, my kids, my school and my work. Any time someone asks about a good nail place I refer them here.

I do not understand how this is considered one of the best nail places! I have been treated so much better in other salons. After I had chosen my nail color I approached the area to where I was to have my pedicure. The girl doing another ladies nails told me to go sit down in the waiting area. Usually in other shops after you pick out your color they have the water ready for you to soak your feet. It was not like it was packed in there. It was the one lady and myself. The girl who did my nails was nice, but the one who told me to go sit kept giving me dirty looks. Every time I looked up she was staring at me instead of paying attention to her client. I had also asked for eyebrow waxing. To me, going for a pedi/​medi is suppose to be a relaxed time. I have never felt so rushed in my life. Needless to say, I had to go home and still pluck my eyebrows. I will never go back here again!

Went here for a gel manicure after many bad experiences at Crystal Nails. The lady who did my nails took her time but my nails still looked sloppy. I always get french manicure because it makes my nails look longer and I got black because of halloween, she got polish on my skin and struggled to keep the nail bed neat. She was also very impersonal, hardly talking to me at all. Her english was very very bad though so that could have been why. The other lady in there was also rude to a customer while i was there. She was finishing up a woman’s nails (basically done just waiting in between drying) and a lady came in for a pedicure (maybe the reviewer below lol) she told her to pick her polish and then rudely told her to sit in the waiting area. I thought it was strange to not soak her feet because that is indeed standard practice, she had time to fill up the pedicure tub but chose not too. She also made the lady wait longer than she needed to. Anyway, back to my nails… At the end I was unsatisfied… I asked for rounded tips several times but they were still quite square. i had polish under my nails and on my skin and she did not allow the coats to dry properly under the UV lamps because the next day the polish chipped off of one my nails and as everyone knows it should last AT LEAST two weeks :(Also disappointed in the price… most salons charge $ 25 for a gel manicure and extra $ 5 if you want french manicure tips rather than painting the whole nail. The total was $ 35 so they charge $ 5 more than every salon I’ve ever been to.
Went to try another salon a few days ago and was VERY happy with it. It is Super Star Salon on Olson Dr. next to starbucks. The lady took her time and listened to what I wanted, my nails came out flawless. If you’re looking for a good salon in the area definitely check them out and stay away from Lamour Nails AND Crystal Nails.

I love this place. I have been coming here since 2011. They do a great job on everything. I used to come here religiously for waxing. I had to stop due to a skin allergy to wax, so now I get threaded. But I would still be coming here if it weren’t for that. My eyebrows always looked perfect! Like amazing perfect. She also does the best nails. I have been a lot of places to get my nails done, and Kina is by far the best. The only complaint I have is the price. But sometimes you have to pay more for better quality. So, I am overall very happy with their services.

I finally found a nail salon that got it right! I first went in for a pink & white set and I was happy with the attention to detail in their work. Previously I had been going to Super Star salon but after only a few days my nails would start lifting along the cuticles. There was no lifting after I got my nails done here. I came back to Lamour Nails for my fill today & scheduled my appointment with Kina and was absolutely happy with the results! My set looks natural, not thick or chunky. She really has an eye for shaping the nails. She was also very friendly & insisted that I look over my nails and tell her if I wanted anything changed. Her quality in her work and attention to customer service is what will have me recommending her salon to everyone.

I’m loyal to another local salon for my gel manicures, but came here the other day only because it’s really close to my house and all I needed to do was have my gel removed (it was chipping and starting to bug me). Though my usual place doesn’t charge for removal, I figured that these ladies here don’t know me and would probably charge maybe 3 – 5 bucks – not a problem for the convenience of being in the area. They took me right away and got started with the acetone and foil. Though they kept asking if I was sure, I made it very clear that did not want another manicure or anything else because I didn’t have time; I just wanted the removal. Afterward, without asking, she started filing my nails, and I let her because I figured it was a nice gesture. I guess I wasn’t paying attention because when she finished the first hand, I noticed she had filed my nails into a round shape, circa 1987. I’m talkin’ long & almost pointy rounded nails, like my grandma’s. I’m 25 years old so I’m a little surprised that she chose this look for me especially considering that she had modern looking nails herself, which were short and dark and SQUARE shaped. Ok, I thought, not the end of the world, I’ll just reshape them myself when I get home. Then when it came time to pay, she tells me «10 dollars.» TEN dollars!?! – to douse my nails in some acetone and then turn what was once beautiful length into witchy claws? Most places charge ten for a full manicure (and my usual place charges only $ 8)! I asked how much they charge for a mani, out of shock and curiosity. Apparently it’s $ 15. Whatever. I tipped her 10% and vowed never to go back.

I’ve visited this nail spa a few times over the past year, and have enjoyed their manicure and pedicure services. Like the other reviewer, I appreciate their wide color selection, good variety of pinks, corals, purples, as well as the more exotic colors like yellows and blues. What I really like is the spacious and tasteful décor, the soothing background music providing a relaxed spa-​like feel about the place. The all female staff are friendly and would engage you in conversation if you are feeling chatty. Me, I prefer to sink into a good book during my pedicures, and they don’t seem to mind either. Overall, I have found this place comfortable.

The staff is very pleasant, do a good quality job, and take Thier time. Ambiance is nice as well. Would highly recommend!

Very nice, clean salon and friendly staff. They do the no chip manicure that stays for 2 weeks which I love! All the girls are AWESOME! Love this place for mani and pedi’s!

Went back again for a fill & very pleased with my nails, excellent color selections. The girl also put a very pretty flower on my nail. I will be back again soon :)
