Good in some ways, bad in others. The service is nice n friendly, everything is also laid out well. Nifty Boba spot for here in the Rancho area. I wouldn’t come here for the sammiches tho but read below before you make your decision. Drinks are what they are with many different variations and types of boba, smoothies, and additions you can do. Can’t go wrong there. Wish they had mini Boba but I just like mini Boba and not many places carry that in general. I’d definitely come here for a boba fix. So I got two sammiches to test out the waters, the classic combination of hame and pâté, and the bbq chicken. The balance of veggies to meat to pickled anything was severely lacking. If you like lots of meat and that’s it then this works out well for that if that is what you like. Not so much for me in terms of what I look for from a Vietnamese sammich. The price to satisfaction wasn’t up to par for me being used to other notable places in the Sacramento area. Me personally I like having a complete bite with food. Vietnamese sammiches are no exception. With the basic combination, there wasn’t enough cilantro, little to none of the pickled carrots which is what I assume is the only thing pickled, barely any jalapeño, and a large amount of ham in comparison with the other meat. The taste was akin to a ham sammich with nothing else in it(used to do that a lot in college with a fresh sourdough and packaged ham, nice to reminesce but not what i ordered). Well okay there was a hint of pâté in the taste. The bbq chicken had a good amount of the pickled carrots but still lacked cilantro and jalapeño as well, had one thin slice of cucumber, and soy sauce bbqed chicken thigh. Good choice on thigh but still not a great balance tastewise due to the lack of veggies. Better than the combination tho I’d say. The bread dough for both was quite chewy and spongy as well. With both ordered at the same time tho the inconsistency of preparation is also quite staggering. I’m not gonna drag this place in the mud tho for sammiches since that part seems like an add on to a boba place rather than it being a shop specifically for viet sammiches. I worked in a boba shop before that had the same thing and food is a secondary consideration. Hell the meat might work well better in the other dishes over rice or vermicelli. Im vegetarian most of the time so what do i know? Haha. Anyway, go for the drinks since those are good so go for those if you’re hankering for one.

I come here every once and a while to get my «banh mi» fix when I’m too lazy to drive all the way out to South Sac in order to get one. The service is always nice. Each of the workers are pleasant and always try to up-sell me on boba which I usually decline. I had a taro milk tea once there and regretted it the moment I took a sip because it tasted so chalky and unmixed. I ended up tossing it once I got out of the store because I didn’t want to be rude to the nice workers. Nonetheless, I definitely won’t be ordering another drink here. The chicken or pork sandwich is pretty good, though not your traditional banh mi. It’s more like a Vietnamese sandwich minus the cured meat and the pâté and replaced with charbroiled meat. As a person who typically hates sandwiches, I still think their sandwiches are pretty tasty and fairly priced for less than $ 5. The ambiance is pretty basic– no frills, bells, or whistles like other boba tea shops that promote chilling out, drinking your boba, and playing games with your friends. I think it’s because it’s in a business park area and tend to be more of a in-and-out stop for local business(wo)men. All-in-all, I will continue to frequent this place but to mostly order take-out sandwiches.

Love this place for boba drinks and affordable rice and meat bowls. Their bahn mis are also decent but I have to be really firm when I say no mayo because twice they put mayo on it. Other than that no complaints! Employees are nice, seating inside is nice too. I recommend taro or honeydew milk tea with honey boba or green tea jellies!

This place is great I love there drinks. I’ve come by twice before work since I world own the street and it’s been closed. But there opening hours say 8:00 am. So no breakfast smoothie for me. Really clean place and great food. The staff is great and helpful. Great hang out spot :)

The food here is very affordable and tasty! I come here several times a week so you know its good. I will usually get the lunch combo which is a great deal. The restaurant itself feels a little cramped and the seats are kind of weird but it doesnt interfere with the good food. The food comes quickly, which is a bonus for people on their lunch break. The downside to the quick food is occasionally a messed up order but the management is quick to fix it and eager to address their mistake so its not a bit deal. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone on the fence about it!

Every time I want quick protein shake after workout FUSION is the place for me. I get elite warrior protein – strawberry, banana, peanut butter, protein powder spinach. If you want extra peanut butter it’s 45 cents extra. Large size with extra peanut butter you will get about 35g of protein(that’s what it said on the menu). Great place great customer service.

The girl at the front counter needs to pay a little closer attention to taking orders by listening to what the consumers are saying. You don’t need jump to conclusion of what you think I wanted and had me correct you twuce to get the order right. You could’ve said can you repeat that. I ordered bbq chicken spring rolls, it came with fish sauce. Which was a little weird, normally you get peanut sauce. And the chicken was very bland, No flavor at all. Drinks were pretty good.

Cute little place with nice service that probably still needs a little more décor to reach full tea shop cutesy status. Lots of tables and fast service. Love the idea of a tea shop in this area with its limited availability, but this isn’t the place to get it. Ordered a shrimp spring roll for $ 3.95 and a peach green tea for $ 2.89. Should have listened to the Unilocal reviews and stopped at the shrimp spring roll… The shrimp spring roll with peanut sauce is pretty huge(albeit messily rolled) with decently sized shrimp inside and very tasty when doused in the sauce. Awesome deal for less than $ 4. The peach green tea, as mentioned by most, really tastes more like flavored water. After my 25 mile bike ride, it was still the best thing in the world, but otherwise… yeah… just a pretty bad idea. Overall food was good but drink was terrible. Not worthwhile for me to go out of my way to come here because there are other places to get Vietnamese food.

Always good service here! Today, I discovered a new favorite from my regular Jasmine Milk Tea… Coffee Cookies & Cream frappuchino! The large was perfect for my husband and had that Baskin’ Robbins cappuccino taste, but cheaper pricing.

As my first time coming here, i did not know what to expect. Upon entering, we were greeted and the service was pretty good. The guy politely took our order for a Jasmine milk tea and taro milk tea. It took a while to make but eventually came out. As my friend said, the taro milk tea was pretty decent. However, the jasmine milk tea was a bit bland and not creamy enough; probably made from powder. The boba itself was not the best but not the worst either. Overall, 3 stars because the drinks were only okay but the service was polite and friendly.

While wait for my bowling ball to get drilled. I decided to go grab some milk tea somewhere. Found this place on Unilocal and drove here. I ordered the Honey Milk tea. It was lacking in a lot of areas. It was somewhat watered down and was lacking flavor. Probably one of the worst Honey Milk Tea I’ve tried. The boba I ordered was a disaster. It was basically clumped together. Like literally, all the bobas was stuck together and it was a pain trying to drink it. They were all super hard as well. I had to go through several straws drinking this because they kept breaking when I tried to suck up a boba. Good thing I had this in the shop where extra straws was available. I was quite disappointed as a boba lover. I don’t know if it was just a bad day or what. This is a really tiny shop located in a plaza. I ended up driving past it twice as the navigation kept leading me somewhere else. So be really cautious when trying to come here if it’s your first. It’s literally right before the light. There is a small entrance before the light and then it’ll be on your left.

How did I ever miss this place?! I always pass this way. The place smells Hecka Good when you walk in. The staff is really friendly. The choices are endless so take a seat and decide first. My girls were hungry so got them the bbq chicken. Well it looked so good I helped myself to a few bites! OMG delish! I will be back because they were sold out of empanadas. They said come on Mondays to get it because they go fast. What a great find!

Stopped by to grab quick drink after drive from East Bay… so disappointed. Got the taro milk tea with boba. The milk tea was flavored well with taro. The boba was inconsistent in texture — from okay to inedible. Literally, some were not cooked and I couldn’t even chew them. This ruined the experience for me… needless to say, the drink ended up in the garbage. I would recommend that they taste the different batches of boba before serving it to customers. Also, don’t mix different batches of boba because it will result in inconsistent textures and consistency. Note: You will get charged .35 cents for using your card to pay.

I was near this location so stopped in to grab a Taro Snow with Boba drink. The evening I went it was empty due to rain and traffic in that area around 5:30 horrible. Menu on the wall is filled with food, drinks even salads. Whatever they were cooking when I went in smelled good like spring rolls and I did not have much time but to grab my drink. It was a good 6min wait for my drink with no one around and wondering that I should have order food TOGO. So my Taro Snow was icy not smooth but lil soft and chewy boba at the bottom hmmm the flavor was lite and maybe more taro powder would have worked. Nothing bad to say cause I did get was I was craving for. THANKS!!! will visit again soon

I’ve been a regular to this spot since it opened it’s so close to my apt plus I can always drop by after work. Rice box is always on point they give you what you ask for, vietnamese coffee is always good. Although they always forgot my name but it’s all good lol never had a disappointing visit here. If you are a milk tea fanatic and just wants to complain on the flavor go to stockton blvd. You can’t find a boba place in Rancho Cordova and will always go here they treat you good and gives a smile everytime you come in. 1÷11÷2016 Ok now they remember my name haha.

I really wanted this place to be good! My husband and I love bobba drinks and would usually drive 20 minutes out to Folsom to get some. Unilocal had great reviews at this location(which was literally down the street from us) so we were excited to try it! When we first walked in we were hit with an incredibly strong scent of incense. However we were greeted politely by a gentleman who was more than helpful to us after finding out it was our first time. He explained the menu and gave recommendations. His service alone is why I’m sad to give a low review — it was a 10⁄10! I ordered the shrimp rolls with peanut sauce and a small Almond Milk Tea with bobba. My shrimp rolls were pretty good but the peanut sauce had a watery consistency which made it impossible to eat without it getting messy. My almond milk tea was decent, it tasted a little grainy and the bobba had a hard center. My husband ordered the beef empanadas and a small strawberry milk tea. Instead of the empanadas being a bunch of small easy to eat finger foods they made one really big empanada. According to him for the price it was pretty basic but could be worse. His strawberry milk tea on the other hand was awful. It had a strong sour taste as if it was purely the syrup. They were kind enough to offer a different drink though. To be safe my husband ordered the same drink as mine since mine came out well — Almond Milk Tea. Oddly enough his tasted completely different! It was bland and tasteless. And communicating with the woman working at the counter was a little frustrating. The customer behind us ordered a green tea milk tea and she brought out jasmine milk tea and pretty much blamed the customer for not being clear. When it was obviously clear to the rest of us. Really disappointed that this wasn’t as good as the reviews said it was. Not sure if it was just the workers. But it would be too risky to come back. Food: 7⁄10 Milk Teas: 3⁄10 Customer Service: 9⁄10 Customer Service after leaving review: 0⁄10

In my head I was wondering how come there weren’t any boba places near my work place. While driving down Mather Field Rd, I noticed Fusion right there in the corner of my eye. Located in a small shopping complex where Mather Field Rd and International Dr intersects, there is plenty of parking for you to pick from. Fusion has a great selection of flavors and different types of drinks. They have your typical milk teas, smoothies, slushes, coffee, and shaved ice. Tapioca of course is optional but you can have it with any drink. I tried the almond slushy and it was quite delicious. It tasted like how I thought it would which is like the Asian almond jello. They also serve food like BBQ pork or chicken sandwich(Vietnamese sandwiches), your choice of meat over rice, and Vermicili Noodle with meat. I will definitely be back to try the food and other drinks. Looks like this might be my designated boba place when I work.

Today’s visit was kind of a disappointment. Decided to finally try the food here & was not satisfied. BF& I both got the BBQ pork banh mi sandwich. I wanted BBQ beef, but they said they didn’t have beef. They should at least write on their whiteboard right outside of the shop that they don’t have any. The whiteboard says«BBQ pork chicken beef daily» so I suggest to at least post a sign if they ran out on an item that’s on the menu. I wanted to get the empanadas also, but again, they didn’t have any. Please post something if you ran out on an item so the customer wouldn’t be disappointed when trying to order and it will also save time. I had to think of a new item that I wanted and the cashier was just there waiting for me while I had to think of something else. If I knew beforehand what they had and didn’t have, the transaction with the cashier would’ve been faster. Back to the sandwich, BF& I was not satisfied at all. The bread was soo hard and stale, it was unbelievable. It wasn’t crispy or warm. I didn’t even eat the other half because I couldn’t take it anymore. It could’ve had more mayo on it also. But I do have to say that they put a lot of meat on it, which was a plus. But I will never order the sandwich again. The drinks are good, as usual. So I will definitely be coming back for their drinks. I’ve been wanting to try out their smoothies. Honeydew slush with coffee jelly is really good.

Ok so here is how they won me over to a 5 star: — Every single time I walk in, they say«hey! The usual?» How great is that?! Love it. — my comment about the menu actually made some sort of impact which I appreciate. Shortly there after the owner messaged me, which I thought was awesome, and said they planned to do better. Now I never intended my comment do come off as negative but I think it’s great that they take their business so seriously. And … Taaaadaaaa… The new menu set up is way easier to navigate. –punch card is a winner. — after 10+ visit the quality is seamless. Tastes good every time. So… WINNING.
