Dollar Tree

Needs better customer service! I go here to pick up a few things & during checkout the cashier was extremely rude. Totally ignored me, not saying «Hi» or «Have a nice day». I haven’t gotten any issues with other employees except her. The cashier named «Jen» was not courteous at all. She is ruining this dollar tree store’s reputation. I think she plays favorites with the people she checks out.
Overall, the store was clean & organized. I always find everything I want here. Only issue is sometimes we get loud people coming in there. It should be a place to shop, not to socialized.
They should hire more employees because they are always short staffed. I always see no more than 2 cashiers on extremely busy days. Either get rid of the extra cash register or hire more employees.
Can’t say anything more except they should remove change the cashier or at least make her take a customer service course.

I come here when I need something quick and cheap. It’s never super busy. Sometimes it can be a bit messy, especially during the holidays, but can you blame em’? The store has so much cool and nice stuff for only $ 1. Can’t complain!!! Fall and Halloween are coming up and I’ll be coming here for decorations :)

I visited this store a couple of months ago.
This is the messiest dollar tree I’ve been in. I arrived at this store shortly after 9:45 and the aisles were already messy and merchanise wasn’t always in its proper place. I guess no one straightened the aisles or cleaned up during closed hours.
My main gripe is that I was made to feel I was incorrect on something when I knew I was correct. I purchased a helium filled foil balloon and wanted a weight for the bottom of it. I mentioned it was the law and sales associate Anthony told me I was incorrect but he would «give» me a weight for the balloon.
I came back to my hotel and got on the laptop and found there is a California Balloon Law that has been on the books since 1990 to regulate the sale and use of helium filled balloons in an effort to reduce power outages due to metalized Mylar or foil balloons… and one of the requirements is that all helium filled foil balloons must be weighted.
I didn’t appreciate the condenscending attitude in front of the entire line of customers behind me.

Nice, quiet and well organized (most days) dollar store. It’s not as busy as other dollar stores or 99 cent stores. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, and great selection of kitchen supplies. =)

I really like this dollar store. The location is very convenient for me, and it has a really good selection. I was conveniently surprised at the selection of food too! I never knew dollar stores had that as well so I had to do a happy dance. Lol I’m also very happy with the employees. The cashier was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the products in the store.

This store needs to clean up. I’m not sure about places like this. I mean I like going in to get a great deal and all. But I don’t wanna go in and see people that don’t have good hygiene. If you don’t take pride in yourself, then you wont take pride in your job. This store is a mess. The windows are filthy dirty with handprints, dust and spider webs, tape from ripping off posters. The reason they gave me as to why its dirty is because they don’t get paid enough. So basically what they said was. They can’t hang a poster up straight because they don’t get paid enough. They can’t pick up the trash because they don’t get paid enough. They can’t brush their hair because thy don’t get paid enough… I’m through with this place. I’ll go to the other one on Zinfandel that’s always packed with people but its clean.

I love this dollar tree!!! It is so organized and fully stocked, the people are fine average customer service. But anyways this one is better than the one in folsom, and west sac.

This store has tons of great deals! As you can guess by the name everything is a dollar or under. They have many items that are name brand too. It’s a great place to stop at that you will always find something to buy. The store is a little small but they still have a wide variety. Parking is never a problem and the staff is friendly. I have never had to wait for more than one person in line either.

My curiosity got the best of me so I headed in. At first I was like wow, they had tons of wrapping paper and boxes and since it was Xmas time I thought I had scored some cheap materials… key word is CHEAP as in garbage. Boxes sucked ass and ended up in the recycling bin. Glad I didn’t get any wrapping paper as I am sure that would have taken more space in the recycling bin. Walked around and saw nothing but garbage till my eye hit these little plastic bible characters which were actually cool. There are six of them including Jesus, Moses etc.. Picked up a few for gifts and headed to checkout. The woman at the checkout was very nice so I give it 3 stars for attitude and the Bible thing. Other then that I do not foresee going back in there.

Love the Dollar Tree Stores. Everything for a $ 1 or even 2 or a $ 1. Candy, snacks, wrapping papers, toys, housewares, kitchen, personal products, wedding favors, greeting cards. The store is the type of place where you can easy drop $ 10 within a blink of an eye.
