I am continuing to be impressed with the unique pizza creations at the Oaks Grille/Par Lounge. Last night I had the«Aglio Supremo», made with a garlic white sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, green onion, cherry maters and mushrooms(omitted). This pie tasted excellent. Definitely an interesting change-up from the traditional red sauce. I think my favorite part of their pizza is the crust. I typically don’t eat the pizza«bone», but here I consume it all. One of my favorite Cobb salads continues to be the one at Par/Oaks Grille. I have noticed though that the portions are getting noticeably smaller, unfortunately. Last time I ordered this it was more substantial. They use such fresh ingredients and present it skillfully. Love their balsamic vinaigrette too! With cautious optimism we recently ventured in for their interpretation of «Taco Tuesday». I put off my usual pizza, burger, calamari, etc., and tried the tacos for the first time. I was really impressed. For $ 10 you get two huge chicken tacos, dressed with chipotle ranch, lettuce, pico, and cheese. The corn tortillas are large and fresh tasting. There’s an ample amount of lean, tender grilled chicken chunks. Salsa was flavorful but too mild. For a dollar more I was able to get one chicken and one fish taco! Well worth it. It’s obvious these were not random, haphazard tacos thrown together for the sake of being Tuesday. They were skillfully constructed and artfully presented. Some of the sandwiches here are hit & miss. All the burgers outstanding!(Except $ 5 burger special on Thursdays) Really good calamari appetizer and excellent Korean Glazed Salmon. Highly recommended.

Par lounge kills it every time I go there. Bartender Jarod is the man to see when you’re there. Always great service and great food. Try the Cali Burger

So I don’t understand why this place is a whole star higher than The Oaks Grille when the food comes from the same kitchen, and they pretty much work off the same menu… We asked what the difference was and the bartender said the Oaks Grille is more of a formal dining compared to the more laid back atmosphere of the Par Lounge. Anyways, moving on from the differences… We came here after hiking Cedar Creek Falls and we were starving! We had a dog with us, and this place is DEFINITELYNOTDOGFRIENDLY. Nope, not at all. Not even on the outdoor patio. So we made it a quick stop for food, and sat at the bar, and was there for probably less than 45 minutes. We ordered: — calamari(super delicious with the sweet chili sauce) $ 11 — French Dip with onion rings around $ 12 – 13 — California Sandwich with sweet potato fries Best friend and I split, so I gave her ½ my French Dip, and she gave me ½ her California. I enjoyed my French Dip more than the California, but she enjoyed her California more then the French Dip. I think the sandwiches are so different it was hard to go from one to the other. Typical grill food, but it was delicious! The wait staff could’ve been more attentive! Even the girl bringing out the food was having trouble getting the bartender’s attention even though he wasn’t doing anything lol.

I have been remiss in not until now providing this positive review for the Par Lounge. I like everything about this place. Great patio overlooking the great golf course. The food we have had was excellent and reasonably priced. Our favorite is the fish tacos. We have always had terrific servers that were very friendly and professional. Now is when I give a shoutout to our favorite Jeanette! Oh, and I should mention they have a great Happy Hour!

The food is good. Prices are OK. The outdoor seating is really nice, it overlooks the golf course. This is one of the favorite places for us to go. We don’t live in The Estates so it’s not quite as convenient for us. We don’t drink so we only come for the food.

The bartenders here are fabulous I feel like they really put in an effort unlike other places where they barely mix your drink! The food is yummy and doesn’t ever take long the strawberry fields salad is delish and the pizza with the balsamic drizzled over it… I dream about that pizza :) bartenders A++ food A++

This is a fun little place to eat. Even if ur not playing a round of golf. They have beer and a pretty decent menu. The staff is fun and have great attitudes. Iv had the turkey club and I must say it was pretty tasty. Nothing crazy different, just put together right. The beers are decently priced too. Eat out on the patio and enjoy the beautiful sky line of San Diego. Fun place to play and eat.

This place is great if you live right up the street. While the bartenders are great and friendly, I mostly go down the hill

Nice little place tucked away in the SD Country Estates. My Jameson & Ginger Ale’s were delightfully strong and they have the best potato skins ever!

So glad we took a small venture out and found this place. It is situated over looking the golf course by the San Diego county estates. Such a beautiful location and a breath of fresh air! Awesome service and great food. Can’t wait to go back again

Bartender decided he would not serve us. No idea why. Seems our money is not the same as others. We had a wedding party staying at the hotel and for some reason the whole party was banned. 50 of us sitting there with no beer. Ridiculous.

First off, the staff is incredible. The food is also very good, and tasty. I stopped coming years ago because it had taken such a downturn, but this team managing the place has turned it around primarily through the people they have hired. A great local place for drinks and food, you cannot beat it. The views, the serving team, and the energy is always good. The only recommendation I would make it to expand the cooking team to keep up with the crowds they are now getting — which are a sign that they are delivering with good meals. Places out here don’t get crowded unless they are good!

I’m a long-time resident of the SDCEA so I’ve been visiting the Par Lounge for years. It’s improved TREMENDOUSLY during that time and the menu and atmosphere are both of very good quality. Unfortunately, the service is still hit-or-miss depending on the time or day, and so a 5th star isn’t possible The Club just hasn’t got a handle on staffing and it can and does lead to very uneven service. Nevertheless, the Happy Hour specials are great, the beer selection is adequate and the food is well-priced! It’s well worth a visit.

Let me tell you, the margaritas here are totally hit and miss when it comes to this joint. Today, big time hit! A couple of visits ago the bartender put some soda water in my margarita, which I have a bad reaction to. Server remembered my «no carbonation» issue and made sure all was on the up and up for me. The staff here is friendly and wonderful! There was one visit where I actually passed out after dinner, with my 6 year old present. They did a wonderful job helping him company as the paramedics showed up to help me out. Never once was my son scared due to the wonderful wi thinking staff! Ya, so glad this place is so close to home.

Was a guest at the resort this last weekend. Had a great time here with the family on Saturday night. Nice space that seems to be recently remodeled. Food was reasonably priced and of high quality. Diver scallop entrée for $ 18? Half portion salads as low as $ 5.00 for Caesar. Excellent potato skins. Kids meals can come with fruit or apple sauce. Decent draft beer selection including Sierra Nevada and Green Flash IPA. Free live music began around 8:00. What more could you want? Looking forward to my next trip.

This place is truly a little Gem in Ramona. Located in the San Diego Country Estates, a place with very, VERY few eateries, the Par Lounge offers great food and a full bar! The lounge has a great view of the golf course, indoor and outdoor seating, and incredible waiters and waitresses! I recommend the pizza and moscato. That’s if moscato is your thing.
