Meet the Business Owner
Daniel W.
Business Owner
Daniel grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland where he attended the state university. Upon receiving his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, he completed BA degree in history, specializing in U.S. –Latin American Affairs. It was the aftermath of 1970’s Arab Oil Embargoes which motivated him to learn more about the possibilities and use of solar energy. His thesis of focus are the three E’s of economics, energy, and ecology. Whatever events or activities we affect in one E, will effect or cause changes within the other two. A balance for sustainability is either at risk or the desired outcome.
He worked as manufacturer’s rep for San Diego’s premier solar panel company, Energy Systems, Inc. Then moved on to become a Strategic Analyst for San Diego Gas & Electric company’s long-term business development programs. Later, he was recruited as a bilingual Research Analyst in the Governor’s Office of California-Mexico Affairs. For past 19 years, he’s worked as a credentialed teacher.
