A few years ago, an «Owner» named «Jessie» really pissed me, so I never gave this place a second thought.
Last week my water-​damaged, 1996 Toyota Corolla transmission went out. I called, then went over to find out they are under new ownership with «Juan.» He said he had a transmission that would replace mine just fine. Let me look at the car and it had 156k miles on it. Asked him how much, and he said, «$ 550 with a 90 day warranty.» I asked if there was any «wiggle room» on that price, and he replied he could come down to $ 500. He said he could install it with the torque converter, new gaskets, filters, and fluids for another $ 350. He went on to say, «I want you to have a good car with a good transmission because that is the business I do.» Two days later I paid cash, got my car back and it drives better now than it ever did. But know this: Deal with Juan and he alone when making your deals. He is the man.
There is a jewel of a woman named Barbara that works there. She is very excellent at dealing with the public and is a wealth of information about any and all things Ramona. She will not make any deals with you.

These guys are great. They had the parts I needed and were very helpful about answering my questions. When it turned out a rim I bought was slightly bent, they also exchanged it with no hassles.
Five Star salvage yard as far as I am concerned, and if I ever needed a tow, I’d call them as well as they are honest people.
