Preventative maintenance programs, walk-​ins, ice machines, deli and display cases, beer and wine coolers, industrial applications, glycol systems, chillers, swamp coolers, and air conditioning systems.

Michael Fryman Refrigeration also services miscellaneous COMMERCIAL kitchen equipment such as exhaust hood sytems.

Business Owner

I grew up in San Diego. Graduated from Clairemont High School in 1978. Met my future wife, Marla, in 1979, and have been happily married to her since 1983. Marla handles our Accounts Receivable/​Payable. We have 2 grown kids that are our pride and joy. Our son, Kevin, has worked along side me since he was a teen. Kevin is married with a baby on the way, and now has his own Refrigeration Contractor license — Kevin Fryman Refrigeration. Our daughter, Erica, married, works in the financial industry, and mom to our 1st grand baby! My family and I love to off-​road, camp, travel, and BBQ at home. My wife and I now live on a little ranch in Ramona with our German Shorthaired Pointer and German Shepherd, barn cats, and dozen hens or so, and one happy rooster! We have a nice sized orchard of over 45 trees. Plan on planting a vineyard in the coming years called The Rebel Ranch Winery & Vineyards!

Two of our four fans in our walk in cooler was not cooling properly. Michael was able to diagnose and repair both fans all within one day. Michael also followed through and called the following day to verify that the fans were now in working order.
His service is top-​notch! He was able to come in extremely quickly and prices were very reasonable! Will use again!

I have been in the Restaurant business for 40+ years. Michael has been our refrigeration repair service for the past 20 years. Fast, fair, honest, reliable, before every summer I have him come out and go through all our equipment. I highly recommend using him for all maintenance and repairs.

My walking cooler broke down yesterday. It was Saturday around 6, so it was almost impossible to call for a service. I went on Unilocal and tried my luck. I called couple of them, got nothing but the message that they were all CLOSED. Then I got Mike, left him a voice mail with no hope. Less then 10mins he called me back and promised to be here in 30−40mins. 15 mins later Joshua showed up. He was polite, processional. He showed me what happened and got everything done in less than 1h. I couldn’t be thankful enough for that. The price was reasonable. Mike went on and beyond the service to make sure everything was fine. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will stick with them from now on.

I can’t say enough good things about Michael and his work. When I needed someone to work on the commercial beer cooler in my home, he returned my call almost immediately and came out that same afternoon. He made sure the job was done right and the cost was very reasonable. Michael was timely, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would not hesitate to contact him again.

Michael has now been to my small restaurant three times for three different pieces of equipment. He is personable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. All of my equipment is at least 6 years old, and one is much older than that. He fixed them right up, and each had a different problem. They continue to work well. I would HIGHLY recommend him!
