My a/​c went down during the heatwave last week, I called a few other company’s all to busy to do a small refrigerant leak repair on my unit installed on my roof. I called Frye mechanical and Allen, the owner answered the phone and while very busy agreed to stop buy after hours to check it out and give me a quote. He was prompt and on time arriving 5 minutes early for his appointment. Within 15 Min he found the leak gave me a quote, which was surprisingly inexpensive. And he said he could do it right then and there. We agreed, and he had my a/​c up and running within the next 30 minutes.
My wife and I were extremely happy with the professionalism and quality of work, his promptness and cleanliness was second to none, you would never even have known he was there. except of course the ice cold air flowing through my ducts and making my whole family smile!

Great company!!! I got the usual 3 quotes and compared them all and not only was he very reasonable but the work was impeccable! I called all 3 places the same day and he was there within 2 days to give me a quote and listened to my concerns. The other place came the following week and the 3^rd place never showed up the first scheduled appt and then came 3 days later. Allen was very friendly and down to earth! We did a full duct replacement and a whole new system and I can’t wait to have a cool house this summer! I highly recommend Allen and his crew!

Allen is the head of the company and is a professional through and through. He meets you and listens carefully to all your requirements and then puts together a package that makes sense from the aspect of correct size of unit and correct pricing for your budget. He follows the project all the way through and is part of the install team. He makes sure that your requirements as far as your home and placement of the unit are met and then follows through with you after the install to ensure that the product is working and that you are happy with the operation. I could not have asked for a better air-​conditioning experience. Allen is the best !!!

Frye Mechanical provided excellent service for our air conditioning. Allen and his crew were on time, polite, and professional. They replaced our entire HVAC system including all new ducting at a very affordable price. We are extremely happy with their work and will definitely use them in the future for any HVAC needs. Allan has been extremely helpful and always there when we have needed him. He is knowledgeable about HVAC and a great guy to talk to. He has helped us tremendously with our glitchy furnace until we can replace it in which he will for sure get a call to redo our whole HVAC system. I highly recommend him for any HVAC needs.

We never thought living in San Diego in the mission valley area in a 2 bedroom condo that we will ever need an air conditioning until the last summer heat waves which were unbearable so we decided to ad an air conditioning unit. After we got the HOA approval, we researched and called few companies and everyone gave us an outrageous estimate and we had to wait 2 – 3 months. I met Alan before at my business in Point Loma when he came to fix the air conditioning unit and he did a great job. At that time Alan worked for an air conditioning company for a long time and I remember him mentioning to me that he was starting his own business so I decided to give him a call. Alan came to the Condo and gave me an estimate 60−70% cheaper than the other companies offered. Alan and his crew came in the following day!!! and installed the new unit in few hours and had his electrical crew to take care of the wiring and dry wall. The team did an amazing job and they were the nicest most polite people and kept our place clean. Alan is the ultimate professional and knows his stuff when it comes to air conditioning and heating. We were so happy with the service and already recommended him to few other people at our complex and he did a great job for them too at a great price.
