Z, the owner, is courteous, professional, and really knows what he’s doing. Customer service was great and I felt really comfortable, especially since I’m someone who knows nothing about cars. I will be back for my oil change and if there are any issues with me car.

Z-​Mech Auto is the greatest shop in its class, no doubt! As a Mercedes-​Benz owner, I never really felt comfortable taking my car to other general mechanics that worked on typical daily drivers. Z is the best at what he does and his knowledge and passion for these luxury European cars shines through in his exceptional work. I was frustrated with a recurrent check engine light problem that other places charged me a small fortune just to diagnose and most would only reset the light without fixing the issue because they didn’t know enough about the car or couldn’t pin point the problem. Z ran the diagnostics on the car at no charge and was the first to tell me exactly what was wrong with the car and what should be tuned up on it to take it from drivable to optimal! He uses the highest quality products with the highest quality service and is straight forward and more than fair with the pricing. Moreover, he is lightning fast and had my car ready far sooner than I could have imagined! 5 stars just isn’t enough for the experience that I have had with Z and his shop and I wish I could give him more! I will not hesitate to recommend Z-​Mech Auto to anyone and I am proud to have found the mechanic for my chariot!

Z is the best mechanic in Raleigh, hands down. He is very knowledgable, helpful, and honest when it comes to diagnosing problems and pricing for parts and labor.

Found these guys on line, while searching for BMW car repair, after a long weekend of Band-​aids, and bruising my ego. Recently I attempted to fix my 745i’s leaking valve cover gaskets myself, needless to say I had to tow it in… These guys are great, definitely know they’re BMWs, Z explained to me how important it was to follow the proper procedures, and why you need proper tools, and why I couldn’t finish the job: D He kept me updated along the way, just in case he found something I might have goofed, which was very reassuring. Luckily it was just lack of skill and expertise on my part, and he didn’t find anything extra. Got my car back in less than two days, which was how long I had already spent working on it, in my futile attempt at repair. Lesson learned, My new BMW go to guy for sure.
