Thomas L. Presley, CPA, PLLC was established to help the small business. It is our belief to help our clients succeed in the their business endeavors and make sure they pay the least amount of tax possible.

My dad was an IRS agent. He knew a lot about the mistakes people made in handling their money. Using a checkers game board and a big stack of pennies, he taught me an early lesson about how one penny could become a million pennies if I saved and put the power of compound interest to good use.

I set off to Penn State University with the idea of being a mechanical engineer, but a course in physics convinced me a degree in accounting might be the better choice.

The aspect of accounting I enjoy most, much like with engineering, is the problem solving. Whether we’re looking at a cash flow problem in your business or searching for a strategy to minimize taxes, there are a hundred different solutions. The challenge is finding the right one for you. The one that fits your unique business situation.

When I’m not working with companies like yours to solve financial and tax challenges, I enjoy coaching my daughter’s soccer team and fostering pets for a local pet adoption agency.
