I am so happy we decided to board our dog Biscuit with these great people. The staff is friendly and welcoming and very helpful. I had a small health issue with my dog when I first arrived to board him and they helped me find an emergency vet nearby to have him seen. They were more than accommodating when it came to having to administer medication for him. While I was away they had a Halloween party and sent me a picture of my dog in the mail. They took extra special care knowing that he is also an older dog, and I didn’t even ask for that! When I picked up my dog he seemed happy and healthy. I didn’t know what to expect since it was our first time coming here but from now on I will feel secure and have peace of mind knowing that my dog will be well taken care of. I recommend Suite Paws to anyone in need of a place to board your pet while you are away. Biscuit will definitely be coming here again! Thank you!

We had a terrible experience with them. Before we came in, they were great on the phone and super friendly. We told them she was spayed about two weeks ago and had just a minor infection that was pretty much cleared but she has to wear an inflatable cone that intertwined with her collar, take some antibiotics and not jump around with other dogs. They agreed and said they totally understood. When we got her back we realized they had taken her cone off, since her collar and cone weren’t intertwined. Once we got home we realized the bag of items given back to us did not have her antibiotics. It was too late to get them as they were closed, so I called the next day as soon as they opened. They didn’t answer three separate times and when I finally got them on the phone, they put me on hold for seven minutes before I just hung up. We ended up having to drive up there just to talk to someone and hope they had their meds. They had no explanation and no apology for our dog missing two days of her antibiotics and for them just plain out not being smart. I’m seriously disappointed and will not be trusting them with my dog ever again. They could’ve reconciled the situation but chose to have poor people skills and poor communication. What a shame.

I was ok with this place — my dog has been going there since Oct 2014 — however, the last stay they gave me my dog with one hand and her tooth with the other. I can’t thrust them to take care of her anymore. On top of that –they called us about the issue and although they were in the office– They made my husband wait until their Sunday open door schedule before they allowed him to pick her up to take her to emergency care. I also, don’t believe all the money you pay for the cuddle time is really well spent. There is no guarantee your pet is receiving special care. When you are picking up and they are busy, you have to really request information about the stay as they try to rush you out the door. We are very disappointed!

I was really hesitant leaving my dog for the first time overnight for boarding purposes, and stumbled upon Suite Paws through a web search. I can’t speak more highly of my experience with them. My dog had a great time during her stay, and particularly enjoyed getting to swim in the pool with her new friends. I just booked my second stay with them for her and have no hesitations — I know she’ll have a blast! Thank you for the great service and giving my pup a home away from home!

decent facility. been there a few times for our golden. have we had better? yes. Have we had worse? You betcha. But it is close, adequate, and fairly reasonable in price.

I am kicking myself for not writing a review for Suite Paws before today… can’t believe it slipped my mind! We’ve been taking our Bernese Mountain Dog here ever since she was spayed at six months old. I actually think this is the first place she was ever boarded. Two out-​of-​state moves and two and a half years later, we’re back in Raleigh and still completely in love with Suite Paws. It is literally my go-​to any time I need to board my girl or take her for a fun-​filled day of playtime, and I’m happy to say that the level of quality and care has never waivered.
The location is a little bit outside of Raleigh off of Highway 264, but it’s definitely easy enough to get to. The building is large and always very clean (and yes, I did take a tour of the back). Their outdoor facility is awesome; it even has the cutest pool for all of the dogs to cool off in! Our dog, Augusta, is always excited when we pull into the driveway. They have a great drop-​in daycare program that I take her to some Fridays when I feel like she should «stretch her legs» and socialize. She is always happy and worn out when I pick her back up. The staff is extremely friendly and professional; every time I call to schedule a boarding visit or just to secure a daycare spot, they make me feel like part of the family. This is truly one of the only places I feel comfortable leaving my dog for an extended period of time.
I often judge a business by how they react to «issues;» a few months ago, I had scheduled to drop off Augusta on a Saturday afternoon for a boarding visit. I (incorrectly) thought they closed at 7:00 PM on Saturday, so I was doing a few things around the house and planned to drive her over around six after she ate dinner. Unfortunately, they close at 5:00 PM on Saturday… I was called about 4:45 PM to see if I was still planning on bringing her in. I panicked, because I had an early flight the next morning and had no alternatives if she didn’t get checked in that night. They were willing to stay a few extra minutes for me to quickly get her in the car and drive over. I’m sure that whoever was working was not thrilled about staying late to check me in because I can’t read the website properly, but they were kind and very acceptive of my profuse apologies. They treated Augusta with the same level of care and made me feel like it was no big deal. I will remember this experience and chalk it up to Suite Paws just being a great business, period.

I have been taking my dog to Suite Paws since they first opened and I’m always impressed with their exceptional customer service, top-​rated boarding and caring nature. I recommend Suite Paws to everyone.

This year for the holidays, my wife and I made the bold move of waiting until the last minute to make travel plans. That did not go well with boarding our dogs. We typically board our pups at CareFirst off Oberlin, but it was a full house, and left us with few options. Suite Paws to the rescue!
Not only did they have an opening for both pups, but made it easy to get them setup and ready to stay at the location. Contacted our vet for all the necessary paperwork, contacted us with updates, and even took our dogs in after our friend who was dropping them off was an hour late. A lesson to all that I learned here, is that they prefer 6 month bordotella shots which I wasn’t prepared for. While they do provide lots of paperwork via email, it’s hard to keep track so be mindful of this leading up to your date.
I give them 5 stars because my dogs came back happy and healthy. I’ve seen the other reviews, and while I understand that they might have a larger expectation of the quality of the kennel based on the name, I felt after reviewing the facility it met all my expectations as a safe and healthy place to board my dogs. Full disclosure, I do harbor some guilt when boarding the pups because I’m going on vacation and they are not, but seeing them bright and cheery when I get back makes me feel better about it and the place I put my pups. I will be back again in the future!

I love this place and more importantly my two dogs do too. The staff is wonderful, you can tell that they care about the dogs. My two get really excited when they see us driving up to Suite Paws and once we get inside they run right up to the staff for hugs and kisses. It is a really good feeling especially when your pets are like your children.
I wish that they would upgrade the web cam system so that it was i-​device friendly but now they post pictures to Facebook; it is great to see how much fun the dogs are having at «camp».
I have used their groom as well for baths and haircuts and they have also done a great job.

This is the worst kennel I have ever been to and it’s suppose to be a «resort.» I arrived home early and called to see if I could pick up my Sheltie early and there response was we’re closing in 15 minutes so if your not here by than everyone will gone. The dog is left in a kennel for hours and hours especially during holidays. I paid extra for my Sheltie to be groomed when I picked him up his haircut was pretty bad. The worst part of boarding my dog there was he brought home fleas. And you could tell he had been holding in his pee for so long when he got outside of the kennel he peed for over 5 minutes. I will never go back!

Our dog, paddington, has been a regular at suite paws since they first opened. He is loved on by the entire staff and I have no worries about ever leaving him there for a day, night, weekend, etc. he gets so excited when we say suite paws and once I get him to the lobby he essentially lets himself in! The staff is so attentive and watch over him as if he were one of their own. Even though we moved from being right down the road from suite paws to Cary, we still will drive 20 minutes each way to bring him to play at suite paws. I have a tendency to need daycare or boarding last minute and they’ve always been accommodating. When a friend asked why I hadn’t found a place closer to my new house to take paddington my answer was, why would I when suite paws is worth the drive? I mean how many places would welcome back the dog that requires them to lock the doggie pool door because he used to sneak in? :) I can’t wait for their new Durham location!

Let me start this by saying what should always go unsaid: reviews, especially ones on Unilocal,are completely and utterly subjective. Because of that, and the sheer volume of reviews for Suite Paws up to and until this point, each review must be taken on it’s merits. Once the volume of reviews increases, then the aggregate rating can be trusted.
I say this only because of my experience, and my experience alone. I look at some of the more negative reviews on here and could not possibly have had a more different experience, But again, that’s MY experience. I cannot judge the validity of another’s.
As for my experience, it was (from beginning to unfortunate end) simply outstanding. Our family and our sweet girl Shorty were happy customers from from the first day Suite Paws opened. I could tell immediately that this place was different than others we had seen in the Triangle area, and not only since it was brand new. So many boarding houses seem no better than your run-​of-​the-​mill animal shelter, but they should exceed that in every possible way. Suite Paws was clearly built with that in mind. Their outdoor area is by far the best in the Triangle, and the attention that they give the boarders far exceeds every other experience we had. It’s clean, modern, and more importantly, boarding and grooming are the ONLY things they do. They have a system that works perfectly, and has clearly been based on best practices.
To me, the above points should all be assumed. Otherwise, why would you keep going? Where Suite Paws truly separated themselves from the pack was when we needed it the most. My wife, sons, and I were on our way back from vacation on an early Monday morning when Suite Paws called and let us know that Shorty was very sick. They immediately took her to the vet, who then referred them to VSH off of Capital Blvd. Soon thereafter, an ultrasound was done and it was discovered that Shorty had two large tumors in her intestines. She had seemed a bit slow over the prior few weeks, but nothing that seemed out of the ordinary for an 11-​year-​old former racing greyhound. At the time, our vet agreed as well. Now though, she was clearly in pain. The ultrasound showed us that it was only a matter of time before her intestines gave out, and the pain only increased. It was clear that Shorty would need to be put down.
We were heartbroken. We wanted to be there with her. From the moment they called us early that Monday morning, to her last moments late that Monday night, someone from Suite Paws never left her side. To say they went above and beyond would be putting it mildly. They were simply extraordinary.
All I know is what I know. But what I know is that I cannot imagine taking my pet anywhere else. We have referred a number of different people to Suite Paws, and have received the same feedback each time. I would be willing to bet that you would be added to the long list of lucky ones.

Yes, I do work here. BUT there is still no where else I would leave my dog. (and yes I do travel often!) I am a paranoid puppy parent. I am proud to say we cater to those like me who want our pups to have the best care.
This is not the first doggie daycare I’ve worked at, trust me, some of them are not what they appear to be! Suite Paws is 100% up front with you and has nothing to hide. I am upset at some of the bad reviews we have but miscommunications do happen and that is a part of life.
The staff truly cares about all of the animals, I’ve personally given many free cuddle times to dogs who’s parents don’t purchase any extras for them, especially when they seem nervous or scared.

Don’t do it! We brought Maddie in to them and left her overnight and only after did I find out that if I wanted her to be «played with» it was extra! WTF? Seriously?! So what you ignore them since I didn’t pay? Also it took a while for Maddie to get back to normal after being there. They said she was agressive to other dogs. She is not normally like that at all. She slept like over 9 hours after being there so I’m thinking she didn’t get much rest. Also she came back with food. I measured it perfectly how much she should have had, and there should not have been any left. Why did we come back with food. Did they deprieve her of food? Poor thing. Not a «Suite» to me. I’ll be taking her to our Vet from here on out! Even if it is a little more.

We just returned from our first week-​long vacation after adopting our dog, Riley and were extremely pleased with the service provided by Suite Paws. We were very nervous about the decision to board him vs. having in-​home daily care, but are glad we decided to go with Suite Paws in the end. We were referred by our awesome trainer, Angel Wasserman (
) and felt confident that she would have a reliable and trustworthy recommendation — and she did!
We chose a villa for Riley and ½ day of daycare daily (we did not do full days as he had not previously been in dog daycare). We were so pleased to see him playing with other dogs on the cameras — noting that his tail was always up and obviously having a great time.
When we checked on him at night he was usually curled up on his bed (that we were able to bring from home) and obviously tuckered out from playing.
The staff were extremely friendly at drop off and pick up, doting over Riley and obvious «dog people.» We are going to start bringing Riley in for daycare on a continuing basis and will definitely use the facility when we go out of town and need to find a place for him to stay.
The only areas for improvement we noted were that the cameras were not working once or twice when we logged on (though, I can’t imagine there aren’t technical glitches here and there that come with the territory of having 24 hr. cameras). I also would have really loved a report on Riley’s eating and behavior when we checked out. We asked the girls on site at the time and they had been in daycare with him a couple times and had some feedback, but it would have been nice to have notes collected over the week.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this facility to others and will be bringing Riley back in the future.

We have been taking our 3 dogs to SuitePaws since it opened and love it! We use them both for boarding and for daycare. Our dogs always have a great time and absolutely can not wait to go! The minute we tell them they can go play they rush to the door and the car! Highly Recommended

Suite Paws is the place to go for your dogs boarding and doggy day care needs. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are also awesome about remembering your pets and their likes/​dislikes. My German Shepherd goes quite frequently and even if they haven’t seen him in 2 months they remember his name and his personality quirks!

Oh no! The staff seemed OK but not nice. I took a tour a couple of weeks before dropping my Yorkie there and it seemed clean although I thought the room which they keep the dogs were rather warm. Being that this was my first time taking my pooch to a «resort and spa» I didn’t have anything to compare it to. When I got my doggie back he wasn’t the same! His right eye was a tad bit swollen and Brodie (my dog) was scratching at it. I waited a day and he was better but I didn’t get a good feeling from them when I got Brodie back. Although Brodie couldn’t talk to me; it took him awhile to get back to «normal». I also asked for them to trim his nails and they barely trimmed them. I don’t think I’ll trust them with my dog anymore.

So this is my go-​to place for my kitty cat when I travel. However, I recently boarded my dog there and wasn’t very happy. Mainly, I wanted a more homey place to leave my dog and Suite Paws ended up being like your standard kennel, only more expensive.

My Golden has spent several visits. Every time I have found the staff to be most friendly and helpful. The place smells clean and looks clean. Bella has had 2 grooming treatments at the SPA and each has been outstanding. I am very comfortable leaving my Bella there. Great Place
