I have experienced terrible customer service at this location multiple times. There are only 3 – 4 occupied tables in the whole restaurant and it takes 5+ minutes waiting to be seated, and 10+ minutes for a server to even come by and acknowledge our table and get drink orders. The most recent time, we just walked out after not being attended to once. Staff are standing around doing nothing. The other times when we have actually waited around, the food took forever. Also, I can confirm from other reviewers the rudeness of the staff. During our 5+ minute wait just to get seated in the empty restaurant, an employee comes in behind us and grunts for us to move out of her way. No acknowledgement that we need to be seated or friendliness whatsoever. At the very least, there was plenty of room for her to walk around us. We decided to go through the drive thru, thinking it would be quicker. The same lady is working the drive thru. She is rude through the intercom. Of course, we wait for at least 10 minutes for our simple order. I ask for extra ketchup and she initially refuses(seriously who does this?). She grunted angrily and finally got me some. I see from other reviews she is just as rude to others. You really have to try to have service this bad. Just save yourself some frustration and go to the Chick-Fil-A just up the road, where you can have quick service and a friendly staff.

Slowest and most disorganized unfriendly service. They were out of menu items. Didn’t apologize just seemed perturbed that they had to wait why I kept choosing. Mgmt was mean and rude to servers… Must be a miserable place to work as it is to dine. Never coming back. There were only 3 other tables in restaurant with customers. We were all waiting a long long time 20+ minutes for breakfast items. Difficult to get ketchup, syrup, and condiments. Didn’t bring anything else expect order. Food-once received was ‘ok’.

Love the dark chocolate shakes and the crispy, skinny fries. The service isn’t the speediest, even in the drive-through, but the people are courteous and friendly. It’s a burger joint, and there is a lot of staff turnover. The food here beats Mickey D’s any day and the 24 hour drive-through is great!

Nice little diner, with a friendly and attentive staff. I have now been there a total of two times, and it’s always been a little on the slower side — really a time of day thing as opposed to anything inherently wrong with their service. The milkshakes are a definite must if you like them, and I recommend the Nutella one. I’ve tried it and the Butterfinger one, but prefer the smoothness of the Nutella to the chunky of the Butterfinger. As far as food goes, it’s a little lacking if you prefer not to(or don’t) eat red meat like myself. I tried an orchard apple salad my last time there with dressing on the side and the first time got a chicken sandwich(I think). The taste isn’t anything to delve into, in my opinion, but in the middle of the night if I was hungry i’d definitely be heading over to have something SLIGHTLY better than McDonalds.

This was supposed to be a quick treat for my son and I after school and work. I’ve eaten here before many years ago(different location) but don’t remember much about it… and I now understand why that is. We dined in and I ordered one of the under $ 4 meals, my son ordered a hot dog and fries for about 3 bucks. The total bill was $ 7.62, which was great! The service and quality of food, however, was less than great. For starters, the restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrived, however we had to wait 5 minutes at the door to be seated. Plenty of employees passed us and did not acknowledge us. When the hostess finally came to seat us, the only thing she asked was were there only two of us. She didn’t smile or make eye contact. And once we were seated she plopped our menus down in a pile on the table and walked away. Our waitress wasn’t much better. She did managed a smile, but I wouldn’t describe her as friendly, and she was very unattentive. My meal was ok… As well as could be expected for $ 4. I paid an extra 29 cents for parmesan and herb seasoned fries which were awful. They were the normal shoestring french fries that had been buried under a powdered parmesan and herb seasoning, probably just before they were brought out to me. My burger was good at least. My son’s hot dog was burnt and shriveled, and he was given approximately 1 pinch of fries. It must not have tasted too bad to a four year old because he didn’t complain and ate every crumb. All in all it wasn’t a terrible experience. I will probably come back, especially for the milk shakes which I did not indulge in today, but I think I will stick to the drive thru from here on out.

So, the milk shakes are awesome. And the drive thru is open 24 hours. Food is cheap, can be a good thing, but you get what you pay for. All the food is literally just OK. Kind of like cafeteria food. But again, milkshakes. So good

This is my second visit to this location and it was still bad. The fries are God awful and the burger that although didn’t taste that bad looked thrown together

I had some co-workers visit here before and they did not give it a good review, but I wanted to come up with my own opinion. I should learn to listen to my co-workers. The only good experience about this was Brittney, the young lady who waited on me in the drive thru. She was very sweet and polite, which is something you see rarely these days in the fast food industry. I ordered my food, drove back to the office(less than 5 minutes away), sat down, grabbed a couple fries and tossed them in my mouth. Apparently I ordered the cold tasteless fries instead of the hot(or warm for that matter) ones. Didnt matter how much ketchup I put on them, it just didnt seem to help. Next was my burger. I enjoy a toasted bun when I eat burgers, gives it more flavor and keeps it from falling apart. What doesnt work is taking a hard stale bun and toasting it thinking it will soften it up, because it definitly doesnt. The meat was lukewarm at best(and honestly to call this a steak burger, not sure which cut of steak they take this from but I sure dont want to buy that at the store!) and the bacon was rock hard. Even had to eat about half of it to find where they hid the dab of bar-b-que sauce. All in all, not impressed at all. Food is terrible, no way to sugar coat it… dont see me going back there anytime soon… or ever for that matter.

I couldn’t believe that a place that’s only been open as long as this one is already tanking on the reviews front. Until I tried to eat there tonight. My dine-in experiences started off ok, though the second was less than friendly and a bit negligent. I’ve got a little advice for you, waitstaff… take care of me well, and I return the favor when it comes to the tip. You didn’t deserve what you got, and your behavior was unbecoming for your trade… and just unbecoming, period. And the place is filthy. But I love the food. Tonight, I attempted to go through your drive through. There’s a 24 hour sign right next to the speaker. After a significant wait, speaking up, honking the horn, NOTHING. I drove around the building and folks are definitely in there, doing just what I do not know. I would have stopped and told you verbally just how bad your service was, but was stopped by my most gracious better half. I still love your food. But you’re not getting my money, and I’m not darkening your door anytime soon.

This place had me for good experience and expectations buy it seems after the 4th try here they still don’t have the idea down right. Great expectations? I don’t think so. I’m sorry I go in and sit down at dirty tables. No one stops to clean it off or take my order. Finally someone stops by wipes the table off and sits to take a break at the bar.(See the photo) then I finally get someone to acknowledge me and I’m still waiting to get a menu. I order then the table cleaner orders. I order the double cheesburger and a chocolate shake. table cleaner gets her meal I’m still waiting. It finally comes and she puts it on the table then hands me the check asks if there is anything else? I said I ordered a Chocolat shake. She looks over and it’s not even started and walks away. I look at my burger, no cheese. And the bun was rock hard. So she takes it back and then I see her over there working on the shake while table cleaner works on her meal. Me? I’m still hungry. I walked out. Fed up with the service after the 4th time

Still needs a lot of customer service work with their servers. The food is about the same as any other fast food.

I decided to try them out today and wish I would have checked the reviews first. Awful food! The place looks great being that it is new and there were a lot of employees running around. It looked like mass confusion but there weren’t many customers so I’m not sure why all the chaos. Even though there were a lot of employees there, nobody was at the order station. A few people said hi but apparently order taking wasn’t their job. Finally someone came to take my order and she had looked like she was having a bad day. So much for the friendly greeting. It took about 10 minutes for my carry out order to arrive which is fine, I wasn’t in any hurry. Got home and realized this would be the last time going to Steak N Shake and this is why: 1 — Flavorless meat. c’mon. how about some salt and pepper 2 — SMALL meat patty(so that must be why the double is favored). 3 — Forgot to put mustard on and I know I said it because it was written down 4 — The other burger that had mustard was just a small squirt. maybe they ran out of mustard, salt and pepper!!! 5 — Toasted Rolls just have a hint of brown on the edge. not really toasted 6 — French fries also could use salt(oh yeah, maybe they ran out. hahaha) So had I ordered a slice of bread with mayo then I would have been happy because that is exactly what my burger tasted like. I’ll continue to take my business to Cook Out and Char-Grill. I know that Steak N Shake has many locations so they can’t all be this bad. Some have great reviews. I have to put some of the blame on the general manager. I did see him there and he barely spoke to anyone. Was just busy looking at the screen on one of the registers and then taking care of new stock.

Being a brand new location, everything is bright, clean, and in tip-top shape. The young man greeting and seating people was nicer and more cheerful than the hosts at 90% of restaurants I’ve visited lately. Our server was pleasant and stopped by multiple times to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Our order came out exactly as we ordered it, which is not something I can say for every SnS I’ve ever visited. When my son wanted to add to his order, she was not put out at all, even though the place was starting to get very busy for the dinner rush. Additionally I’d like to note that quite often, when I eat out with my kids, it feels like people write us off as a table/tip because they just see«woman with kid(s)». I did not feel that at all today. I’d just like to thank them for making us feel just welcome as larger parties/families. Overall this is a huge upgrade over the KFC that used to be in this location and we will definitely be back.

I have been to this location twice. One drive thru and one carry out. First off drive thru. Koesha is the most unfriendly and or racist woman in the world. She was extremely rude and snatched and or threw stuff at us. Ending the experience with the window slamming in our face. Food was good tho. Secondly, the carry out. Upon walking in it was sooo hot it was uncomfortable. I felt sorry for the workers and diners. Everyone was chaotic and running around doing nothing. We got our order before our dink and milkshake was even made.. . Which wasn’t even what we ordered. Our food was cold when we got it after a 15 minute wait. I understand this is a new location and prob has some kinks to work out, this was beyond that. I was excited about this location but probably won’t go back.

My family and I(2 adults, 2 children) visited this new location today around 4:00 pm. We thought we would beat any crowds and get good service and fresh food. Wow were we wrong! After being quickly seated we waited five minutes for wait staff to get our drink orders, followed by barely warm food, the cheese did not even melt on the burgers. This was after a 15 minute wait and the server checking on the order. We gave them one more shot by ordering milkshakes. Again a 15 minute wait. They tasted good hence the 1 star. We asked what the delay was and they said they were under staffed. Lol, there were about 15 customers and 20 or more staff members I could see. They just congregate around standing, laughing and looking like there is nothing to be done. Meanwhile were waiting on all of our orders and it comes out not even fresh. What is going on here! We won’t be back anytime soon if ever.
