Shine & Style specializes in detailing all makes and models of cars, trucks, boats and RVs. We offer a variety of packages from our Custom Hand Wash to our Ultimate Detail Package. We also specialize in overspray and oxidation removal, headlight restoration and light to medium scratch removal.

History

Established in 2003.

In the beginning Shine & Style’s clients were mainly auto dealers. Over the years of continued success and excellent customer service our team of professional and dedicated detailers were recommended by word-​of-​mouth referrals; in which we began servicing retail clients, making «house and job calls» with on-​site detailing where we come to our clients. We are aware that our clients are busy professionals who simply want to protect their investments, but don’t have the time to do it themselves. Hence, they can call on Shine & Style. We have added several new services since 2003 including but not limited to; scratch removal and headlight restoration, in addition to a spa location in 2016 conveniently located just off 540 and Capital Boulevard. We also keep current on industry products, upgrades and specialty care/​paints (i.e. Matte Paint care) in order to continue passing on quality services to you. We aim to deliver the best quality because we know that our clients trust us!

Nicholas M. was born in Trinidad & Tobago a Twin Island Nation in the Southern Caribbean. Nicholas affectionately known as «Nick» by his customers, family and friends relocated to Raleigh from Alabama and Kentucky where he attended school. Nick found his passion in car detailing which led him to establish is own auto detailing business. He successfully opened the doors of Shine & Style in July 2003 operating primarly as a mobile service until 2016 where he added a shop location for clients to come to. Shine & Style is now known as one of the première detailing companies in North Carolina. Nick is very dedicated to his business and treats every customer in the same professional manner. He takes pride in his work no matter what make and model of your vehicle. You can feel confident that Nick can restore your vehicle and will deliver quality and excellence at a competitive price.

Nick is an honest guy to deal with, pointed me in the right direction with what my car needed, did not try to up-​sell me and did a wonderful job with the services I selected. I will be looking forward to taking my girlfriend’s car to him for a good cleaning… that thing is a nightmare. Anyways, rest assured that Shine & Style will do a great job at a reasonable price.

These guys were absolutely AMAZING. They were incredibly professional and accommodating. I was the last car of the day for them — they didn’t even start until 4:30p and they stayed until almost 8pm (without complaining once) to make sure every last little detail was covered — which is saying a lot since my car was covered in «shotgun tar.» My car has never looked better!
Nick was the contact person. He made it easy to schedule an appointment; he actually called when an earlier appointment date became available; they arrived promptly and on time; and he followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was good. These guys were true professionals.
I would recommend them to anyone and everyone and will definitely be doing business with them again!

I emailed this company to set up an appt and the person who emailed me back said they didn’t know what I wanted and to look at the price list then call instead! I clearly stated in my email what I wanted. So I can say that they lost my business and I will not be recommending them

I am truly impressed with the service provided and work done on my car. Nick had scheduled to come out on the weekend but due to the below freezing weather it was not possible, he promptly rescheduled for a convenient time for me in just under a week. As I am sure he was behind in his schedule it did not seem to affect the service provided, they took the required time on my car and left me very satisfied with the job.
The vehicle he detailed had sat in the sun /​rain for years with little cleaning and had caked on dirt in all nooks and crannies for which I couldn’t even remove by scraping it with my nails, but he managed to get it all clean. It looks like a brand new car.
Great service, great work and great website. Service advertised is delivered as expected. If you want someone true to their word, this is the place.

I needed a detailed to get off the «shotgun tar» from my white SUV. These are little black specs that don’t come off in a regular wash. I knew I had to do something because it could destroy my paint. I called them on a Friday and they were able to accommodate me the following morning. They called to follow up and were on time. They spent at least four hours on my vehicle and also detailed the inside at a very reasonable rate. This is my first experience and am completely satisfied and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

These guys did an awesome job on my (realllly needed a cleaning but not quite trashed) 2009 Corolla. The up charge for it was a little pricey– 150 up from the original $ 150 it is. It was fine however I just didn’t consider it that bad. They were only here 30 minutes over their standard time. Maybe it was just me but the final product was amazing and my car literally feels brand new now. Thanks!

I use these guys whenever i am here. today, they did what was my mom’s ’07 sonata. Mom was a smoker. this car looks, smells, 100% brand new. When they detail, they mean DETAIL. Also, just the nicest guys around. Take TOTAL pride in what they do. you need to schedule in advance, you won’t be sorry you waited to get on there list. one more thing, if they say noon, they will be there noon. If the weather is bad, they will tell you. No sitting around waiting for the other guys.

From all the great reviews on here, called them in early May for a detail. Apparently they were very busy and could not work me in. Gave them my number and was told they would call me if they could book me in the next two weeks or so. No call was ever received! I completely understand that my request was last minute and they this is their busy season, however, when a business promises to follow up and then does not, it speaks volumes! Won’t be using your service, sorry! Got a great referral from the guys at D&E Quality Service!

I JUST had my car detailed. Nick and his coworker spent over an hour and a half on a custom car wash for my 2014 Toyota Camry. My car looks brand new! He also let me know that I am due for a wax (I’m not a «car» person so I wouldn’t have known that otherwise). I’ll definitely use them again!

HOLY SMOKES! Nicholas just spent all day on my car, a convertible carrying 3 years’ worth of grime, soda spills, sandwich crumbs, and dog hair and baked-​in mud from carting a wet dog around. I cannot believe the miracle this man hath wrought on my car. Cannot. Believe. It. The attention to detail is just unreal. The results far exceeded my expectations. Plus, Nicholas is a really friendly owner who was very patient with me in scheduling during a week repeatedly interrupted by what we call «snow events» here in the Triangle. I cannot overstate how pleased I am with the quality of work and customer service. I can’t recommend Shine & Style enough. Wow.

These guys did a great job. Right on time and the car was spotless when they were done. I got the custom was which was $ 50 and gave a $ 10 tip. It’s more expensive than the chain car washes, but they spend 5x as long on your car.

An upcoming road trip we had planned with friends was the nudge needed to get our car cleaned up thoroughly. I keep it pretty tidy (especially interior) but the fall weather and tree sap had left the black paint dotted with spots of muck that car washes alone could not remove. With a little research and some help from Unilocal I learned of Shine & Style and their very favorable reviews. A visit to their website answered my immediate questions, and I requested a call. Their follow-​up was prompt and helpful. On the day of the service they were prompt and ready to go to work. And the results of their attention to detail were nothing short of impressive. The car looks great, and they exceeded my expections. This is my five star salute to you, Shine & Style. Well done, I am a fan and highly recommend them.

I chose Shine & Style after reading all the glowing reviews and a back-​and-​forth email discussion about what service was best for my needs. To be honest, we got a new car and my 8-​year-​old SUV seemed pretty dirty when comparing the two. I have two big dogs and a toddler, so it definitely needed some help! They arrived late morning and worked non-​stop for about 5 hours! I kept peeping outside and was amazed at all the tools they had whipped out. It also was raining and they just kept going. I really appreciated the follow-​up email I received the next morning. I work in the customer service industry and really appreciate when people go the extra mile! One thing I did not know about interior detailing, I had not had it done before, is how long your car needs to dry afterwards. So if you are a beginner like me, plan on your car being out of commission for the day, but it is totally worth it!

Had the guys spiff up my 4runner last Friday… very impressed! I wanted every nook and cranny addressed and it was. They spent more time on it than I expected which spoke volumes about their level of «detail.» I scheduled an appointment with them, they called on their way and were on time. I was able to pay by credit card, again just a step further than what I expected out of a mobile detail crew. I was also impressed by the «team» that arrived versus just one individual. These guys knocked it out of the park and I would recommend them to anyone.

The reviews don’t lie. When I saw how clean my car was I was grinning like an idiot and couldn’t stop. I was convinced that they misunderstood me and gave me the $ 200+ detail job and didn’t even care because it looks immaculate. But no, ~$ 60 for 3.5 hours of 2 guys cleaning my car until it really does shine. To all the moms out there with Goldfish-​snack-​encrusted seats and mysterious goo all over the car – call Shine and Style. Call them now. Forgo the manicure, skip the massage… even sacrifice date night if you need to – it is so worth it to have your car this clean. Even if it is just until the kids and hubby get back in…
I used another mobile detailing service that charged around $ 40 and I figured I was getting what I paid for. They basically spent an hour vacuuming and cleaning to where it was just decent. The windows still a bit smudged. Some grime still leftover here and there.. .I really thought I’d have to pay $ 200 to get the kind of clean I received today. Pay the extra $ 20 for Shine and Style.

My car interior was covered in dirt, grime, and diesel after doing construction work for two months. Diesel was soaked into the seats and floor. I don’t know how they did it, but they managed to get rid of the smell and make it look like I just bought the car. It took close to 4 hours, but that just shows that they take their time to do quality work.

The guys from Shine and Style Mobile Detaining just left and we couldn’t be happier! We wanted to detail our daughter’s 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer before selling it. In 4 years she had never cleaned the inside and maybe washed it a handful of times. They spent 6 hours steamcleaning and reconditioning the inside, she is a smoker and they put a lot of attention to getting the vents, carpet, upholstery and headliner cleaned. The engine and engine compartment look brand new and I don’t think the exterior has looked this clean and shiny since she drove it off the dealership lot! Worth every penny and since they come to you it is so much more convenient than having to drop off and pick up your car!

For all who don’t know me, I work with a German Shepherd Rescue in my spare time and my car collects dog hair like women collect shoes :)
I called Shine & Style after I found out my car had been oversprayed. I was already looking to have it detailed due to all the dog hair but that made it a bit more urgent. They managed to fit me into their schedule and worked tirelessly to make my car look like new again!
Overall, these guys made my car look as if it just rolled off the show room floor. Not a speck of dirt, hair, or dull was in the car after they finished. I will be enthusiastically recommending them to all of my friends and family!

They did a fantastic job — my husband’s car looks like new again! They were flexible with our schedule, upfront about the pricing, took their time to do a thorough job (3 hrs) and extremely nice. It was a pleasure to do business with Nick and we plan to get our SUV detailed in a few weeks when we get back from vacation.
