An idea was formed when the inventor saw a trophy that was earned years ago. The trophy owner had passed away and his loved ones couldn’t remember the story behind the trophy. They kept the trophy because it meant a lot to him, but most of the story was lost forever. ScanMite Trophy was born… the story began through an entrepreneurial spirit and sharing.

Business Owner

Charles Comer is a NH native and a U.S. Coast Guard 13 year Coast Guard veteran. He is married to a lovely North Carolina girl and they have 4 children; one son who is now a U.S. Army veteran, a daughter who is married to an Active Duty submariner, a second daughter who is attending college, and a third daughter who is still in school. Charles earned his Master’s degree in Management, Information Systems and is the patent holder and trademark owner of ScanMite. He has surrounded himself with outstanding talent who also possess the entrepreneurial spirit needed to help make this a success. Their gratitude goes out to their customers who have been active contributors while supporting this Raleigh-​based start-​up company.
